@Missgoldilocks you are doing right by not testing, hang on in there 💕

Missgoldilocks · 29/04/2020 10:37

It's funny because I'm here telling the other girls don't worry if you don't have symptoms once they have their bfp because I experienced pregnancy like that lol but because I feel nothing at all I'm like I must not be pregnant!

@Beau20 thanks girl, I'm just dreading how ill feel on my birthday if I'm not 🙄 but at least I'll have cake and cocktails x

Fredthespider · 29/04/2020 11:25

@Missgoldilocks when is your Birthday?? Hopefully you have good news :)

Missgoldilocks · 29/04/2020 11:28

@Fredthespider my birthday is 3rd May and my period is due on 3rd May 🙄🎉🎉 haha

Beau20 · 29/04/2020 11:37

@Missgoldilocks okay, well this month HAS to be your month... 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Katie1109 · 29/04/2020 11:42

My RHR has plummeted down so I guess it’s not going to be good news 😭

Katie1109 · 29/04/2020 13:09

I’m getting period like cramps now, please no, not again😭😭

Beau20 · 29/04/2020 14:25

@Katie1109 no no no, don't be silly. Calm - don't worry!! They say to absolutely not temp after a BFP. And cramping is 10000% normal! I had period cramps almost all the time, coming and going with my last pregnancy. Try not to worry, I'm keeping everything crossed for you xxx

LV1987 · 29/04/2020 14:32

@Katie1109 take a read of the attached post - hopefully it will reassure you a little x x

New thread for the crazy gang - part 4!
Katie1109 · 29/04/2020 14:37

Thanks girls x I’m just really worried because tomorrow is the day when I started my MC last year 😭

Beau20 · 29/04/2020 14:50

@Katie1109 the post @LV1987 posted is totally right. I had a look on FF charts and loads had a drop in BBT after your positive, some stayed high. Everything will be fine 🤞🏼 also remember it's so unlikely you'll have a MMC the same day as your last one. I know it's so hard to relax and not worry, you will be okay xxx

Quiffy · 29/04/2020 16:09

@Katie1109 my rhr dropped a few days after and I freaked myself out. Saw plenty of others that said the same. I no longer wear my fitbit and I'm still getting period cramps at 17, so try not to over think. It's really hard but try to calm and look after yourself with lots of rest.

@Sunflower2019 I was so convinced girl! Congrats on your boy and that's a gorgeous scan photo ❤️

@Missgoldilocks everything crossed 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Missgoldilocks · 29/04/2020 17:47

@katie1109 try to relax and definitely don't watch your heart rate like the others said xxx

@Beau20 @Quiffy thanks girls xx

Elmlee · 29/04/2020 21:08

Hey Ladies,
Had a break from MumsNet with the whole
Corona worry etc. I almost thought I'd go back on the pill. My hubby told me to stay off.

Lovely to see you all still carrying on with your journeys and the crazy gang still going.

I scrapped my Opks because I was half arsingly taking them.

I lost all the pregnancy tests I'd bought 🙈

Started having very odd symptoms found my tests and tested and got negative.

My cycles have been between 26-49 days, it's been a nightmare.

Last couple of days I've felt what felt like a UTI... took a test this afternoon.... very shocked

@Mumofboys17 I read this on FF this morning - you said that you have a shorter luteal phase didn't you? At least we know we are due a 'normal' regulated cycle soon 😂 that along with statistically a BFP

Beau20 · 30/04/2020 08:16

@Mumofboys17 sorry I forgot to say, it's a study post contraceptive pill on fertility

Mumofboys17 · 30/04/2020 08:30

@Beau20 that's interesting, although after reading that maybe mine isn't 'short'? My period always starts by 11-12dpo latest (according to the last 3 cycles anyway) as prior to that DS was in hospital so stress messed me up big time! X

@Elmlee ahh congratulations! Wishing you a happy healthy 9 months 😊

@Katie1109 only just reading your last few posts, how are you?? Hope you're OK? X

Morning ladies x how is everyone? x
@Mumofboys17 I’m good thank you for asking x I had a bit of panic yesterday thought my period is going to arrive etc but all good x still no symptoms as such, just a bit more tired than usual but nothing unbearable x

Beau20 · 30/04/2020 08:49

@Mumofboys17 you are probably right! 😃 I'll still class my 10-11 day luteal phase as short until I get to 13 days 😂

@Katie1109 glad you are feeling better! Take every day as it comes, try to be as relaxed as physically possible. I've never had one, but if I could, I would book in for an 8 week scan just to put your mind at rest. That's only just over 3 weeks away for you, then once you see that little heartbeat you know everything is fine. Xx

LV1987 · 30/04/2020 09:16

Morning ladies!

Glad to see you are feeling better @Katie1109 you've got this ❤️

Congrats @Elmlee - I spotted your post on a long cycles thread I started following yesterday, the timing did make me chuckle! Funny how those gut feelings we get turn out to be right at times 😍

I'm CD23/25 today. According to my app, this was OV day last month, so it just assumes that it will be this month as well... But I'm still on flashy smilies. Looking at the test, the line I think I want to see getting darker is now getting lighter. CM is all but dried up now, and my RHR is looooooow.

So, I think Clear Blue may have missed my ovulation as a couple of you suggested - I just have no idea when! I am going to follow the app as it's all I've got, and start my TWW tomorrow, I guess. So lost!

Fredthespider · 30/04/2020 09:32

Congrats @Elmlee, that's wonderful news!

@Katie1109 please try not to worry, although much easier said than done I know! Feeling tired is a good thing and very common in early pregnancy. One perk of lockdown is the ability to have a nice afternoon nap without anyone noticing :)

Katie1109 · 30/04/2020 09:55

Thanks ladies x
@Beau20 I phoned my GP yesterday and I’ve got my first midwife appointment in 3 weeks time x I might book a private scan for around then too x I take it there is no scan on the first MW appointment? It’s just all the info gathering and possibly blood test? x
@Fredthespider I’m not tired enough for afternoon naps just yet, but might be tempted to lay down and keep my feet up for an hour later x
I’m trying keeping busy and not think about it, honestly I don’t really feel pregnant so trying to go about my life as normal, but then I start googling things and looking at pregnancy apps articles etc 😂😂

Missgoldilocks · 30/04/2020 10:03

@Elmlee congratulations!

@Beau20 @Mumofboys17 that's a interesting study, after having the injection it took my body a good year to get back to normal.

Well my body feels exactly as it does just before af. Had cramps last night and my cervix has come down super low and hard as it does a few days before. 🙄 I'm annoyed now but I know I have that stupid bit of hope that maybe still am which I wish I didn't I'd rather be upset now than really annoyed the day before and day of due to hormones! It's hard to control the feeling of being upset and angry about it??

Mumofboys17 · 30/04/2020 10:30

@Missgoldilocks I'm with you on that one!! When AF arrived for me the other morning I literally half-shouted "Oh no" 🙁 DH just knew what I meant without even needing to ask lol. You will be upset, it's totally normal. Just don't ever allow it to consume you.
Virtual hugs and hand hold for you! ❤️ have everything crossed you'll get some good news, but if not, stay strong. We're all here for you! X

Katie1109 · 30/04/2020 11:02

@Missgoldilocks sorry you feel so down hun x I haven’t really got any wise words for you other than sending you lots of love x we all know how hard it is every month when you feel you’re out even before af shows x be kind to yourself and stay positive x seriously if it happened to me it will happen for you two and trust me I thought I was never going to see those 2 lines x also there’s nothing wrong with feeling upset and angry, lash out if you need to it’s not healthy to keep your emotions in x
