TTC after miscarriage - April 2020

Starting this thread for anyone TTC after a miscarriage. My MC was in December and I’ve had no joy since, but these threads have been wonderful for being amongst lovely people going through the same thing.

As always, sorry to anyone who finds themselves here and fingers crossed we all get our rainbows soon 🌈

@SmileyT lost your cervix as in it’s too high?? I need to stop checking. I know I shouldn’t check too often it’s not good for me xx

@babytinx11 of course to cry is so natural. You want this so badly and it really is a bitter disappointment. Find comfort in your daughter and your husband. Just not this time. You will probably feel better about it in a week or so. You will then have another chance. You doing anything nice this Easter Sunday? Xx

My milk supply has dropped right off. Can’t get any out and ds is getting very stroppy about this!

I’ve read online that this is a sign of early pregnancy but it’s also a sign that... your period is due! Why are the symptoms of af and early pregnancy so similar?? 🤔

Oh no @mommybear05. Hope he's not too stroppy. I think I am ready to wean. It is just so full on with him. I get told to lay down on the floor so he can just help himself!

He is a December baby...21st

@Mommybear05 that will be soon testing too early hoping to squint and see bfp... i had the faintest bfp at 9dpo last time so only a week to go till then! No symptoms yet atall but only 2dpo 😂 so not suprised.

@Ejb86 you’ve had a good run at two years four months! It’s so not easy to decide. Had you always wanted to bf for so long? I said I’d stop at six months, then one year but when the time came I never wanted to!

Aw mine is early December. He was due in November but I always knew he was a December baby. My perfect Christmas present. I LOVED having him at Christmas time! That is why this cycle is so Important for me to conceive. But what will be will be! Hubby doesn’t want the chaos of another December baby though! Yours is so close to Christmas Day! X

@mommybear05 we had Easter eggs for breakfast after I have done some jobs around the house we are going to do some crafts and watch movies it’s my daughters birthday tomorrow too so that will be fun. It probably shouldn’t hit me so hard we already have 4 happy healthy children but it still feels like a kick in the gut xx

Aw @Babytinx11 I'm so sorry af came really thought you were going to get your bfp. Sounds like you have a busy day planned so that should keep your mind off it. Keep positive and think next time will be my time 😁. X

@HE88 thank you yeah it should be busy enough to take my mind off it my girls are playing princesses at the moment. Plenty of time for practice now seeing as I am at home all the time hubby works from home normally so he is always here it’s me running around lol make the most not of baby making time 😂😂

@Babytinx11 definitely make the most of baby making now you have all this time on your hands 😂. Enjoy your day and hope your daughter has a nice birthday tomorrow 🎉🎂. X

@Hayleylou89 yes I think I tested too early. Last time I had a negative at cd29 and that was a cb digital. So I think Morrison’s own at cd 30 doesn’t make me out of the game this time! Don’t k kw why I bothered testing tbh I don’t believe the results are reliable yet. Patience is a virtue... x

@Mommybear05 I honestly am not sure whether it's high or if it's just softer and I can't feel it, keep asking DP to have a root around but he thinks this is a step too far 😂 ahh I'm so sad that you didn't get a BFP this morning but still getting good signs with the less milk supply, may be a good indicator. Not out until AF arrives xx

@Mommybear05 I am right there with you when it comes to the urge to test.😂 sorry about the negative. But i'm thinking since we both implanted in the past few days it's pretty recent so we don't have enough hCG for a bfp. Especially with a cheepie which usually requires 25mIU for a proper positive🙂 Fingers crossed for a bfp next time we test🌈🤞

@Isittimeforbubblesyet yeah I suppose at least you know you could carry to term but hopefully after the coronavirus issue has calmed down a bit they will be able to refer you for more tests. It could be the temp spike was due to ovulation, I don't know how much difference it makes getting up in the night. I'm such a restless sleeper and get up through the night maybe that's why my temp is all over the place. I actually have no chocolate in the house, just asked OH why he didn't get me one 🤔

@Hayleylou89 I don’t know about days post ovulation. I used only cheapie opks and they went darker for a few days but never actually positive so I’m not sure I actually did ovulate. It’s possible ovulation didn’t happen as it’s my first cycle post mc and I’m still breastfeeding too. X

@SmileyT haha I can imagine your conversation with oh 😂. That made me chuckle! When you google is says that cervix position isn’t always reliable too. But I’ve been trying to find what’s normal for me. I think you need to do it over time so you are familiar x
