Starting this thread for anyone TTC after a miscarriage. My MC was in December and I’ve had no joy since, but these threads have been wonderful for being amongst lovely people going through the same thing.

As always, sorry to anyone who finds themselves here and fingers crossed we all get our rainbows soon 🌈

Hello @VP91x ,yeah I never thought I will be excited and looking forward to feeling sick, bloated, exhausted😁 but if all this means I will get my rainbow baby soon then I welcome all symptoms. It all sounds promising so far, I guess only time will tell. Baby dust to you and everybody ttc! Keeping fingers crossed for all of you ladies🤞❤❤❤

Rainbowdust31 · 11/04/2020 19:13

@SmileyT I don't remember where I got the idea that late implantation might be a bad sign. You are right, it shouldn't be cause for a miscarriage. Anyway, tested today because this is me, extremely impatient, and of course I got a bfb. I'll probably ask my husband to hide the pregnancy tests left until I am at least a week late😁 Do you usually have a long cycle? Mine is usually from 28 days to 33 days.. although 28 is pretty rare.

Babytinx11 · 11/04/2020 19:22

Hubby has hidden the tests so I don’t have much choice 😂 hoping I fall asleep quickly tonight then morning will come quicker😂

Mommybear05 · 11/04/2020 19:47

@babytinx11 he’s hidden the tests? 😂😂 that’s hilarious haha. You have to wait now! Tell him he’s keeping us all waiting too lol XX

Mommybear05 · 11/04/2020 19:49

@Rainbowdust31 what’s a bfb?? Not heard that one before? Take it from context it means negative? There’s still time yet! When did your spotting stop? All your symptoms sound so promising x

Mommybear05 · 11/04/2020 19:51

@Skygirl1983 yes it’s so hard to stop thinking about this stuff! X

Emmyc123 · 11/04/2020 20:07

Hello everyone, sorry to just jump on here, but am very worried, had a 3 month misscartige of both twins 10 days ago (in hospital taking tablets to start the misscarrige) I bless for approximately 3 to 4 days normal like period but then stopped for around 4 days or 5 and today randomly just started with lots of bright red blood and cramps down below and a few bits of tissue looking stuff and still quite a lot of blood coming out (been a hour since I noticed) does anyone know if its normal to stop and start with misscarriges and if this sounds normal? Tia emma xxx

Rainbowdust31 · 11/04/2020 20:10

@Mommybear05 sorry, I meant bfn, my fingers got a mind of their own😂 The spotting stopped last night, but this evening I noticed it started again. It's not much, but it's there when I wipe (so sorry for tmi). Indeed all symptoms sound like good news but my mind is stopping me from building my hopes up.

Rainbowdust31 · 11/04/2020 20:12

@SmileyT sorry, I meant bfn earlier in my message😁

Babytinx11 · 11/04/2020 20:12

I said he is going to end up on a hit list he offered to bribe anyone who came after him with chocolate 😂 he is going to put them in the bathroom when I am asleep 😂

@Emmyc123 I haven’t had anything like that with any of my miscarriages are you feeling unwell at all?

SmileyT · 11/04/2020 20:12

@Rainbowdust31 I just had a quick google and read a study that said that over 9 days to implantation does have a higher rate of MC, I'd never read that before... there is so much to this whole TTC thing once you start looking into it 🤦🏾‍♀️ my cycles were regular at 28 days before the MC but doctors said it could be up to 6 weeks before I get my first AF after MC so I'll wait for that date before I do any testing 😬

Babytinx11 · 11/04/2020 20:16

@Rainbowdust31 bfb made me giggle sorry it wasn’t a bfp today but fingers crossed hun still time though got everything crossed you are cooking the best Easter egg ever xx

Rainbowdust31 · 11/04/2020 20:22

@SmileyT thanks for the research. I had spotting yesterday and the day before (9dpo & 10dpo). It stopped yesterday and got nothing today, but checked about an hour ago and it's back. I am really confused and this makes the wait even harder. If this is indeed implantation I guess it counts as "late" so I really hope it's not another miscarriage..

Rainbowdust31 · 11/04/2020 20:30

@Babytinx11 my mind is all over the place these days lol😂 I know there is still time for a bfp but this spotting I had confused me.

P.S.: I love this, cooking the best Easter Egg😀 Hope there is really something cooking in there, thanks❤

Mommybear05 · 11/04/2020 20:32

@Rainbowdust31 ah I see. I thought it was a new one I wasn’t familiar with! Lol

So in the bath I could feel a pinching sensation in my lower right tummy. Could also be implantation. Or not. Haha. I think I’m symptom spotting now!

Can I just add with the time for implantation from ovulation- your bleed could have happened before you saw it if you know what I mean, especially if it’s brown like yours. So if it’s old blood it could be implantation happened before you saw the blood.

I had pink discharge yesterday in the early hours and again in the afternoon. Today nothing except for the tiniest little pin head of red blood when I checked cervix. I need to stop checking it I think! 🙈

@emmyc123 I’m so sorry to hear what you are going through. I’ve not heard of this before but if you’re unsure I would speak with your doctor. It sounds like you may need a scan to check what’s going on. Sending support to you at this difficult time x

Babytinx11 · 11/04/2020 20:36

@Rainbowdust31 brown blood is normally old possibly break through bleeding maybe from when implantation happened but just didn’t bleed through at the time? I am not expert though never had implantation bleeding

SmileyT · 11/04/2020 20:40

@Emmyc123 hi hun, I think it is normal for it to stop and start, but I had surgery and I know that every situation is different.

If there is any large amount of bleeding/ or you continue to pass clots/ you are just worried I'd give the EPU a call and ask for their advice better safe than sorry I think.

@Rainbowdust31 well the info I read said before 10dpo was good and guessing IB will be after implantation so I think it's a positive sign. No sign of AF, noticeable symptoms since suspected implantation, really hoping this is your month, would love to see a BFP in this group x

Rainbowdust31 · 11/04/2020 20:54

@Mommybear05 I never realised how much I needed a group like this one until I joined. It's so nice to see other people's experiences, and hearing that you also keep track and analyse every little change or movement in your body makes me feel at ease (for a while I thought I was overthinking and over analysing the situation). I appreciate all the support here❤

I never thought about the spotting from your perspective. Yes, brown blood equals old blood so it means I could've implanted earlier than I noticed. But in this case how do we explain the pink-ish spots after the brown ones?🤔

Rainbowdust31 · 11/04/2020 21:00

@Babythinx11 same here definitely not knowing much about implantation bleeding, this is why I am worried. The thing is, it started brown but then the next day it was pink, both days the amount was very little so that is why I thought it could be implantation (plus it was way to early for it to be AF). What stage are you at, if you don't mind me asking?😊

Rainbowdust31 · 11/04/2020 21:04

@SmileyT I really hope that no matter how early or late I implanted this one sticks and grows into a healthy baby. Signs are good so far, let's hope they stay on the good side. Again, fingers crossed for all the ladies here we all deserve our rainbow babies🌈

Ejb86 · 11/04/2020 21:40

Oh @Emmyc123. I am sorry. I lost my girls at 16 weeks back in September. I bled on and off for about 2 months. I found that one of the hardest things to deal with. Here if you need to chat x

Ejb86 · 11/04/2020 21:45

@Mommybear05 how is the weaning going? Today I had a discussion with my 2y4m lb, we decided that he's a big boy so he'd now only have milk for sleep time. He only asked one other time today, and I managed to distract.

I decided I'd try and reduce his milk after reading all of your posts. Hadn't thought about his feeding making a difference, but with me being home with him ft now, he's been having a lot more milk, which can't be helping my fertility!

Mommybear05 · 11/04/2020 22:33

@Rainbowdust31same here I would go crazy without it. Hopefully we all get our rainbows soon :) regarding pink bleeding, I’m no expert but could it be from digging in deeper or fresh blood if that makes sense?? The brown definitely shows you that something was happening earlier. But I think you are possibly overthinking. Let’s get that bfp first haha. X

@ejb86 hey. I caved pretty quickly. So now I’m trying the ‘don’t offer dont refuse’ approach. My ds is also getting very clingy with lockdown. I’ve been trying to do my jobs and he cries for me all the time even when he’s with his dad 🙈 sometimes when I’m on the sofa he literally crawls onto my lap and starts to tug at my top! So I don’t feel he’s ready for full weaning. He actually did that the other day when I was face timing my mother in law 😂
Sometimes now his dad can put him to bed no problem. Other times he can’t and I have to do it. So we are very much following his flow! It’s so good you guys have the language to have a conversation. It’s a really tough call choosing between bf and your fertility xx

Rainbowdust31 · 11/04/2020 22:50

@Mommybear05 i wish i could wait patiently for a nice bfp without questioning the spotting, cramping etc, but unfortunately the worries are part of the ttc journey, and i am overthinking every single detail.

Isittimeforbubblesyet · 11/04/2020 23:02

Hi all, can I join? Desperately trying to conceive #2 but after 18 months of trying, I had a MMC in October. Medical management, ERPC and hysteroscopy has meant we couldn't start trying again until Feb but no luck. My cycle has been pretty regular at 28 days but my periods are light and not the same as before the MMC (sorry if tmi). I dont think I'm actually ovulating. Started recording my bbt this month and am on cd16 but no temp rise despite a smiley face in CD 13.
Feeling really really low about this as it was our last chance to conceive before my baby would have been due next month and I just feel like such a failure that my body isnt working properly. I have the most amazing 4 year old and I am so lucky to have him but I'm terrified something will happen to us and he would be all alone (covid-19 is making my anxiety about this kind of thing spiral).

I'm sorry to read about all your losses and experiences. Sending Flowers to you all
