TTC after miscarriage - April 2020

Starting this thread for anyone TTC after a miscarriage. My MC was in December and I’ve had no joy since, but these threads have been wonderful for being amongst lovely people going through the same thing.

As always, sorry to anyone who finds themselves here and fingers crossed we all get our rainbows soon 🌈

Kind of glad today is almost over been an up and down day ! I think its harder when you're not busy at work or something and have time to think about things. How are you ?
You do sound prepared 💪 good luck to you too. I'm in first cycle since MC , not had a period yet and getting odd tracking results so dont know what's going on really ! I'm still giving it a go and have DTD every other day... but if I dont catch will be good to have that feeling like you have of that reset and that your body is getting back to normal!

I'm CD20 now.. ERPC being CD1 .. I got a CB peak on CD7 and had high fertility the last CD 14 to CD 20 ... strange .
Did you track in your first cycle after MC ? How did you find it ?

Hi lovely, i was the same and tried as soon as i could, my loss was at 22.5 weeks so my hormones may have been diff level to u but i bled for 2.5 weeks then just had loads of high fertility readings on the clear blue and gave up with them but i started at a random point in my cycle so probably my fault...so i was doing cheap opks alongside to see what was happening.. i got a pretty high reading on them on cd 29 so this is when i think i ovulated (according to my temps aswell) but then im not sure as AF started early than it should of....so it was all a bit messy, im hoping this month is back to normal although my cycles are quite long, there either dead on 35 or dead on 38 x

@terribleimagination im so excited to see if this works for u, uv had the best possible chance as catching it this month... iv also managed to get a scan referral for a once over on my ovaries etc im waiting on the letter so i hope its soon or before this months ovulation so i can see if they can see anything useful like urs, i was told in my last pregnancy i had a ruptured cyst but it wasnt causing any harm so iv said i want to be checked over again and they agreed thankfully so it will hopefully give me piece of mind everything is ok and we are 100% good to go!! @leok83 I was the same as you in the cycle we conceived, had sore boobs from 1dpo and it's the only time that it happened to me in all the time we've been trying! I googled it but couldn't find any info about whether it meant something anywhere. In the last two cycles I have been desperately willing my boobs to be sore after ovulation, crazy lady alert!

@showmethegin I conceived the first month after a lap/dye and hysteroscopy following 18 months of trying too, again nothing showed up during the procedure that would prevent conception but it seemed to do something for me as it worked! I'm hoping that things will happen again soon, so stressful!

Sorry to see some coming over from the March thread . I was sort also following that one but not really commenting as I had my ERPC in March I wasnt really at where others were . Did see some lovely BFPs in that thread though which is always nice to see and reassuring for us here that it happens

@Hayleylou89 currently where I'm at sounds similar...CD21 and 8th high fertility flashing smiley in a row.. 🙄 so I feel like not bothering with them now either but then I also feel like maybe I should just carry on and see if I get a peak later on as everything's probably delayed but then if that's the case dont think I should be getting sooo many high fertility results !?

I've not tried using the cheapies so maybe I should order some of them too. I'm just worried that I think about all this too much as it is probably so if I have them too I will even more so !

We were trying for about 4 months last time we conceived in December and I was using CB OPK got the peaks DTD that day and the next day and used the conceive plus lubricant. And on pre natal vits

So thinking if that worked last time to go by that again I guess .. just makes all this harder when your body doesnt seem to be back in sync yet

I hope you get your scan soon! I don’t know if it’s the same everywhere, but mine came through really fast. The appointment was 2 weeks after I went to the docs and was referred! Obviously that might be different now, given everything that’s going on, but fingers crossed you get it soon! Xx

I felt exactly the same i wasnt convinced i ovulated as I was doing 2/3 cheapies a day and only really got a strong high i wouldnt have said it was a peak but my temp did rise aswell which does confirm it too but i could have easily missed the surge as my surge always seems to happen in the afternoon not the morning thats why its good to have the cheapies too, iv got the cb connect this month to try it was expensive but if it works ill be delighted - iv started using cheapies today to see progression - im cd 7 now and the clear blue app is asking me to test from cd 12 and once i get high ill test twice a day with them until i get a peak im using cheapies now Just incase i see it getting strong before cd 12 when clear blue want me to start testing x

Im one to talk but be patient u will get back on track and it does sounds just like my first cycle i must have got about 10 high fertility readings on the cb digital x

@ktl1a haha glad it’s not just me..literally poking at my boobs willing them to be sore after ovulation 😂

Ah thats good, fingers crossed i get a letter this week 🤞🏻 not due to ov until first weekend in april so hopefully my appt falls just before then and i can see it before it happens like u :) x

BFN on all tests so waiting for start of next cycle and enjoying my morning coffees :)

Morning coffees always a good pick me up 👌 although I'm working from home at the moment and the coffees I make at home arent as good as the machine in the office!

What do you use to track ovulation ?

I'm on my first 'cycle' ...if you can call it that.. seeing as it's been so all over the place dont know whats going on ..since MC. Had ERPC 2nd march.
Did you find your cycle was like this right after MC? X

Hi Everyone, I’m joining from the March thread (and Feb and Jan ones too)

I had an ectopic in October 2019 and a MC in May 2019 at 11 weeks.

Really hoping for an Xmas baby, my most favourite time of the year! I’m currently on CD7, my AF finished yesterday so this will be my 5th cycle trying since ectopic.

Lots of names I recognise, so sorry to see you on this thread but I’m glad to have the company 💛

@courtneyrenna thanks.. So right after mc i had an infection in the womb so was on antibiotics up until i ovulated on cd15 (thanks opk) so was hard to know what was going on. the next full cycle was 4-5 days longer than normal. Other than that nothing unusual...
Why has yours been all over the place? Have you had bleedings?

@SunnySideUp2020 I was given antibiotics when I was discharged to take but don't think I had an infection just to take in case I did sort of thing. Its just all over in the place in trying to track whats going on. Bleeding stopped around a week after ERPC so started CB advanced OPK CD7... got a peak .. which doesn't seem right. And I am today on my 9th flashing smiley for high fertility … from CD 14 to 22.. so who knows whats happening. I guess either didn't ovulate or didn't pick up on the surge ..

I only use CB OPK to track so from today I am starting to use BBT and got some cheapy sticks so I can test in the afternoon too

Hi girls ... can anyone help, im so confused

Iv just finished My first AF since my loss - and its cd 8 today.. I started cheapy opking yesterday and today iv just had a really strong lh surge (bottom test) why would this be happening cd 8 i was also up all night with backache and cramps on my left side which is odd but I usually ov around cd 19-21 so this is way too early isnt it ?! But why else could this be happening? X

Hi ladies! I miscarried in February :( so literally just back on to trying again now. I'm on CD19 and I think I ovulated two days ago! Anyway, we did lots of the old bd over the past few days so I'm just now waiting for either my period or that BFP. I'm going mad already 😂

@Hayleylou89 well this is exactly what has just happened to me but CD7 straight after my miscarriage... mine could have been HCG still in my system? But I got a negative reading for ovulation couple days after the peak I got on CD7. I got the peak on advanced CB ..

Have you got the CB you were going to use and try that today too see what that says? I've just started tempting today but I see some people say this helps to determine if you did ovulate or not. Are you testing BBT? I guess just make sure you DTD and then carry on testing see what results you get after ? Xx

This isnt the AF following the Loss this is my first full cycle AF (is that what u meant?)

Iv got my cb but didnt want to start using it so early and waste the sticks and the apps not asking me to test until sat either.

Ill keep using cheapies and see if it gets stroger on them and maybe start using cb is they seem to be getting stronger.... my temp spiked this morning but dnt know if thats because i didnt sleep well with the pains iv had ... this is all very confusing. Any help understanding this is much appreciated x

@courtneyrenna I use CM only as dont really have the money for ovulation tests

Hi please can i join you, I have been TTC since March last year, we unfortunately had a miscarriage in June at 7 weeks. Currently on cycle day 4, I have purchased the clearblue fertility monitor does anyone have any experience using this?

Has anyone thought about not trying with the CV stuff going on? MIL says we shouldn't be trying.
Got a high OPK today so we shall be dtd tonight, sod the MIL!
