I saw a thread about this back from 2019, a few people noticed their resting heart rate started to increase steadily after ovulation and they got there bfp. (Although people did report it rose then dropped before AF)

Just wondering if anyone on here has tracked and got a definite bfp?

I'm currently 10dpo and my heart rate has jumped from 60bpm to 67bpm since ovulation.

Not sure when my period is due as they are irregular.

Attached my chart too!

So guys I just got a very very faint positive on a frer but nothing on clear blue. Worried now my heart rate has dropped by two that I'm having a chemical 😭 kinda wish I had just waited till Sunday now!

@alicespring FRERs are a lot more sensitive than CB so it's normal to have a BFN on CB at this stage! Congrats!! And this whole rhr thing isn't set in stone so don't focus on that!

Alicespring · 10/04/2020 18:16

@Juno231

This isnt an actual branded frer its one called baby plan (that I have used before and did show positives when I was actually pregnant) think the sensitivity is about 12-15 but CB leaflet says 25 so maybe just too early. I'm already in a panic cos I had a misscarriage on the 17th of March so don't want to get overly excited yet 🙈 Fitbit has been taken off though 😂

@HighlandMam1 that's such a strong peak and line! How many DPO are you? Congrats!!

HighlandMam1 · 11/04/2020 11:18

Thanks @Juno231 & @Alicespring I'm over the moon and still weeping happy tears! I am 14DPO!

Juno231 · 13/04/2020 11:57

8DPO and I've had an unexpected dip in RHR so I'm secretly hoping it's an implantation dip! Let the symptom spotting commence 😂

Alicespring · 13/04/2020 12:52

@Juno231

Fingers crossed for you!

I'm a day late for AF but too scared to take a test incase it's negative after the faint positives at the weekend 😂 also took off my Fitbit cos the drop in rhr was stressing me out 🙈

Hi guys! I thought I'd pop back to update on my rhr and hopefully give some hope to anyone who's stressing about dips in rhr.

I had an initial peak after ovulation and it rose steadily for a couple of weeks after my bfp before slowly dropping down below my average rhr of 65/66 and it has gone back to 66 this week. Today I had my 12 week scan and my little bean was in there kicking away with a lovely heartbeat!

If you're waiting for the 12 week scan and worried about a drop in rhr, hopefully you'll come across this post and see that it doesn't necessarily mean bad news. I know I searched high and low for a post like this when I first noticed the drop and the only posts I could find were of MCs so I genuinely expected bad news today.

Congrats to all the bfps and good luck and baby dust to everyone else Flowers

I hope everyone is doing well.

My Apps are all different at the moment In terms of predicting fertile period.
All indicate I am on CD16 and I know from previous ovulation tests that I ovulate around cd20, but Ovia and Premom are saying i won’t ovulate until cycle day 25.
My Fitbit is telling me I’m in the middle of my fertile period and predicts ovulation at day 18

Yesterday I had what I think was ovary pain on my right side, so I DTD just in case.
My HR is currently at 69 resting which is a rise from 65 on Monday.
I took an ovulation year this morning and scored 1.22 high (my peaks are about 2.27)
So either I ovulated yesterday and therefore have missed my peak or I haven’t yet and will peak at day 20 again.

My apps haven’t synced up since the miscarriage so I’m gonna trust my heart rate and body for now

@SomethingAboutYou thank you for coming back on to update.

Kona84 · 18/04/2020 11:03

@HighlandMam1 congratulations 🥳

Kona84 · 18/04/2020 11:05

@Alicespring how are you doing? Did you take another test

Juno231 · 18/04/2020 12:14

My RHR has been a bit all over the place since ovulation. Had a big dip I thought could potentially be implantation but my heart rate started dropping at 7DPO already 🤷‍♀️. Am now 13 DPO and BFN but had a random bleed yesterday with FMU which could have been implantation? I'll just have to wait and see but the chart isn't looking good!

Hi everyone, I’ve been watching this thread but haven’t commented until now!

I don’t have a Fitbit, but I have a garmin watch and have been keeping an eye on my RHR after finding out the link when TTC.

Bit of background... I’ve been TTC since October 2019. Got PG the second month of trying, but miscarried at 5.5 weeks and haven’t managed to get pregnant again since 😢

I have a question! I’ve only had this watch since February, so only tracked a couple of cycles. I’ve noticed that my RHR spikes 3 days after I get a positive OPK... Do you all get a RHR spike on the day of ovulation or after?? I’ve been confused about getting that spike 3 days after the positive!

Juno231 · 18/04/2020 22:21

@terribleimagination mine spikes on the day but I think I've seen others with a spike the day after. Makes sense considering a positive is meant to signal ovulation in the next 12-36h. Three is a bit longer though... Do you carry on opk testing past the peak to verify it's over?

TerribleImagination · 18/04/2020 23:33

@Juno231 Hmm interesting! It’s happened both cycles I’ve tracked... Last month I even had a routine scan to check for ovarian cysts, which fell on CD9, so I asked the sonographer to check for follicles! She said my dominant one would pop out an egg on CD 13 (judging by the size), and I got my peak OPK on CD12... So that’s confusing when relating to my RHR spike which happened CD15...

I use the Clear Blue Advanced, so stop as soon as I get the static smiley.

Juno231 · 19/04/2020 08:50

@terribleimagination I wouldn't worry too much about it - none of this is set in stone and it's mostly theory at this stage so I'm sure there's a good reason for your rhr spike being a bit later!

Alicespring · 20/04/2020 07:33

@Kona84

Hey thanks for asking....I had yet another chemical! Going to take a couple of months out TTC that's the last 3 months I've had chemicals I genuinely don't think I can take any more at the minute 😭

Morning all x
I've been keeping an eye on my rhr using an apple watch. This month seems a bit different than usual, I'm 10 DPO today and I have marked my ovulation in blue - confirmed by OPK's. Does it look hopeful? Its the flat line for 3 days that's different, never had a flat line before. Any thoughts?

Kona84 · 22/04/2020 21:08

@Katie1109 I had a flat section on my successful month. Mine was 12 -15dpo then it started increasing.
