I saw a thread about this back from 2019, a few people noticed their resting heart rate started to increase steadily after ovulation and they got there bfp. (Although people did report it rose then dropped before AF)

Just wondering if anyone on here has tracked and got a definite bfp?

I'm currently 10dpo and my heart rate has jumped from 60bpm to 67bpm since ovulation.

Not sure when my period is due as they are irregular.

Attached my chart too!

@EllieJai44 me 2 🤞🏼

SmileyT · 12/05/2020 07:21

@LV1987 are you testing today? 🤗

LV1987 · 12/05/2020 09:02

Morning @SmileyT! I was going to, but a lady on another thread asked for some support testing tomorrow, so I'm holding off another day ❤️

RHR dropped back to 63 this morning. Its been zig zagging between 63 and 64 since May 7th, so I think I might be out in any case. Unless I ovulated even later than I thought in which case, I'm looking out for the wrong thing at the wrong time! I would LOVE this to be out month, but something is telling me it's not 🤷‍♀️

LV1987 · 12/05/2020 09:06

My graph - my cycle has been more than a month now, so I have had to do it in two screen shots (they overlap) 🤦‍♀️

Sorry if I sound thick! But... what is the general pattern everyone is seeing with RHR before/after ovulation then possible implantation/BFP changes? I understand that if it rises a lot after ovulation with a slight dip somewhere a long the way that can be implantation and BFP indicator...is that right? But what generally happens before and just after ovulation?

Mrsi2020 · 12/05/2020 10:24

8 dpo today and this is mine! Xx

So I'm 9DPO now and swear to god I had implantation cramps at 7 and 8 DPO. Today my rhr has dropped to 60 (so 3bpm drop from yesterday and 5bpm drop from when the cramps started). I'm really hoping this is an implantation dip and that I'm not just going crazy 🤞.

Mine has gone from 61 to 68 😯 bfn today though

Mrsi2020 · 12/05/2020 11:19

Imagine it all means nothing 🤣 fingers crossed - I’d love us all to be joining the graduates !

Juno231 · 12/05/2020 11:36

@Ltay2 thing is that time period doesn't really matter I don't think as it's pre-conception but post ovulation? Your body will essentially be gearing up for AF unless there's implantation so as far as I'm concerned there's nothing to look out for at that point.

@mrsi2020 that chart looks super promising! way clearer than mine!

Mrsi2020 · 12/05/2020 11:53

I just poas. Lol what a waste of a test lmao xx

Ltay2 · 12/05/2020 11:58

@Juno231 I thought so. Not had my Fitbit long enough to know what happens at ovulation and afterwards for me yet so will just have to wait and see.

Juno231 · 12/05/2020 12:03

@Mrsi2020 lool you crazy girl! You know it won't show up for another two days if today is implantation! Not even FMU either you silly sausage xx

@ltay2 yeah it's def the most boring part!

Mrsi2020 · 12/05/2020 12:07

I know I know, 🤣🤣🤣 xx

Juno231 · 12/05/2020 13:14

@Mrsi2020 there's a shadow of a line in there though so fx it turns into something a bit more tangible next time you test! I only have one FRER so I think I'd only use it once AF is late lol.

LV1987 · 12/05/2020 13:38

@Juno231 silly sausage always makes me chuckle, as that's our nickname for my youngest step son 😍

@Mrsi2020 nice nails! Looking forward to seeing them holding a BFP later this week 😂❤️

Juno231 · 12/05/2020 14:24

@LV1987 @mrsi2020 ha you've just reminded me to do my nails before I take any BFP pics - a bit like when getting your nails done ahead of your engagement pics! God knows I have nothing better to do lol.

I forgot to mention that on Mon night I forgot to put my fitbit on before going to bed (I had been charging it) so I think my reading for yesterday will have been skewed by a lack of night time data when my heart rate will have been at its lowest. It worries me a bit though cause it could mean today is my second day at 60 and maybe my RHR is just implying AF is on its way...

LV1987 · 12/05/2020 14:37

I am going to order some nail polish in preparation for my test photo... I'm testing tomorrow, hopefully I will have something worth sharing!! Don't worry about it too much - mine has been up and down all month, and I think that is in part due to this not being an exact science, but also down to the huge number of additional external factors that will be impacting it right now. Chin up, and face whatever it is head on when it gets here 😘

Mrsi2020 · 12/05/2020 15:07

ThNks girls! Lol at us doing our nails for pics 🤣🤣🤣 priorities! I’m so excited for everyone, feel for the girls who got bfn but hopefully we’ll all be in the graduates chat together xx

SmileyT · 12/05/2020 16:48

@LV1987 fingers crossed for you both tomorrow then... 🤞 let us know how you get on, is it a FRER?

@Ltay2 my normal cycle seems to be a drop after AF then a rise after ovulation, the only difference with the month I got pg was that it didn't drop just before AF and had no dips and was just straight up x

BabyDust13 · 12/05/2020 16:53

Fingers crossed 🤞🤞

LV1987 · 12/05/2020 16:58

It is an FRER... which I hate because they are so pricey, but at the same time it's all I can really rely on with my cycles being so unsettled!

BabyDust13 · 12/05/2020 17:00

@LV1987 good luck

LV1987 · 12/05/2020 17:08

Thank you - you too 😘

Mrsi2020 · 12/05/2020 17:49

Eeekk good luck girlies - it’s hard cos even with symptom spotting , it’s the same as af symptoms a lot of the time. Fingers crossed for us all. Xxx
