I saw a thread about this back from 2019, a few people noticed their resting heart rate started to increase steadily after ovulation and they got there bfp. (Although people did report it rose then dropped before AF)

Just wondering if anyone on here has tracked and got a definite bfp?

I'm currently 10dpo and my heart rate has jumped from 60bpm to 67bpm since ovulation.

Not sure when my period is due as they are irregular.

Attached my chart too!

Congrats @Fisher1008, looking forward to hearing more!!

Kona84 · 06/05/2020 21:18

@TerribleImagination @Fisher1008
So happy for you both.

Terrible- You had a text book HR rise I’m glad that you are not obsessing over it in these early stages.
Earlier in the thread someone was monitoring and had some anxiety over dips but then came back to update us on her scan.

SmileyT · 06/05/2020 21:39

@LV1987 I'm feeling pretty good at the moment, I'm still in work and it's mad busy so the days are quick but the evenings are long (especially when DP is on a night shift) Tonight I watched Toy Story 3 and 4 and had a sharer bag of crisps and a bag of squashies for dinner and I've just got into bed so basically living the muthaf%#ing dream 🤣

The first month after MC I was so emotional but this month I've felt much more in control. I also feel like having this full month of tracking will give me a good base to go forward with, so even if I'm not successful it hasn't been a waste. I'm curious to see what your heart rate will do over the next week. Keep me informed I'm very invested now xx

Ltay2 · 07/05/2020 07:33

This has been such an interesting thread to read! AF arrived for me today so I'm treating myself to a Fitbit as a consolation prize 😂 next cycle will be our 3rd, trying for first baby. Will be nice (?) to have another thing to obsess over with RHR.

LV1987 · 07/05/2020 08:02

@SmileyT my appetite has been a bit odd these last couple of days. I've not really fancied "real" food so I've snacked on random stuff all day and by the time dinner comes around, just don't feel like it at all. On Tuesday I had three lemon cake slices for lunch, yesterday I had a piece of chicken and a cream egg 😂🤷‍♀️ I would murder a bag of squashies, bloody love those!

I'm glad you're feeling positive about this month. I have a close friend who has suffered a loss recently, and I think taking the time to grieve is really important, but so is taking the positive from it. Every cycle is one cycle closer to THE cycle x

RHR is up 2bpm again this morning - 61 up to 63 - so not high enough to get excited about yet, but interested to see what tomorrow holds! Symptom wise, I've had heartburn on and off this week, my skin is starting to break out (feels like the last one has only just cleared up, bloody hormones!), my dreams are ridiculous (peed in a tea cup at an airport and used a "special tea bag" as a pregnancy test in last night's delightful edition), and the sides of my boobs are sore. Normally it's my nips that are sore pre-AF so this is new!

TerribleImagination · 07/05/2020 08:44

Thank you @Kona84 ☺️

Kona84 · 07/05/2020 10:33

@LV1987 sore side boob was my early symptom before I got my BFP.
Felt like I’d done 100’s of pushups

LV1987 · 07/05/2020 11:08

Oooooh @Kona84 please don't tease me....they are so sore, even just from having my arms by my side! I have not done push ups for so long, I couldn't say whether that's what it feels like though 😂 I'm a lockdown slug I'm afraid 🙈

EllieJai44 · 07/05/2020 11:52

Hi guys hope you dont mind me jumping on, I got a Samsung fit watch middle of April and have been tracking heart rate since 22nd April.

Got a sharp rise for ovulation, then a dip and now its still rising? I'm only 6dpo but hoping it will be good news!

Fisher1008 · 07/05/2020 11:56

Thanks everyone! @SmileyT @Kona84 @LV1987 @popcorndiva

Congratulations 🥳 @TerribleImagination

I tested again this morning with an Amazon cheapie still really really faint, I timed 5 minutes this time to make sure it’s not an evap! I haven’t slept a wink worrying it’s an evap, ended up drifting off after I put an audiobook on to distract my brain.

My RHR went up 1 bpm and my temp from 36.64 to 36.80.

FRER still haven’t arrive, going to try wait and test with the FRER on Saturday with my husband 🤞🏻 I’ll be 12 DPO and should be a clear line by then I hope.

How’s everyone else’s TWW going

popcorndiva · 07/05/2020 12:14

@elliejai44 I am not an expert but apparently your body does not know you are pregnant at 6dpo. You are looking for an implantation dip around 7-10dpo then a rise which continues past when your AF is due. Otherwise it usually drops couple of days before.

kfcplease · 07/05/2020 12:43

That's exactly what happened with mine @popcorndiva my chart is below got bfp around 12dpo.

Juno231 · 07/05/2020 21:18

@EllieJai44 sorry ellie but your dip is at 3dpo which is far too early for implantation. Quite a few of us having been getting dips at 3dpo as part of normal fluctuations. You're looking for a dip between 6-12dpo (most people have implantation at 9dpo).

Girls here's my chart at 4DPO. Still the most anomalous I've had so far. No sharp rise for ovulation (although there is a small one) and abnormally low for me at this point in the cycle. I'm starting to think I may not have ovulated! But I know that's just me going crazy and second guessing everything....just venting I guess!

SmileyT · 08/05/2020 06:49

@Fisher1008 good luck for testing tomorrow 🙌🏾 is your RHR still increasing?

@LV1987 squashies are literally my favourite things in life 🤣 the guy at the corner shop actually told me I eat too many sweets and I'm putting on lockdown weight, what a prick, but it's a 30second walk and open all hours so he sees me at my worst 🙈

That dream is definitely an interesting one and all of those other things are definite early pg signs🤞 are you having any pre-AF signals or all feeling good? Every cycle is closer to THE cycle and I'm sure it will happen it's just trying to look at the whole thing as a process rather than each month end as a sadness, but it's bloody hard. I cried for absolutely no reason last night and tried to pick a fight with OH so think there is definitely some anxiety within me.

What's your RHR doing today? Mine is up a little over last couple of days but haven't slept well so maybe that's why 🤔

Fisher1008 · 08/05/2020 08:41

Hi @TerribleImaginationI did a FRER yesterday when thy arrived so FMU or SMU just random and I still had a nice pink line. Getting clear lines on cheapies today too 🙌🏻

I don’t know when to stop tracking everything? My BBT and when do you stop testing?

@TerribleImagination have you stopped testing now and just going with it?

Also does anyone know when you measure your weeks from? Is it ovulation or last period?

I have my fingers crossed for more BFP 🤞🏻

Sorry @SmileyT didn’t tag you! My fault switching between screens 😂

popcorndiva · 08/05/2020 08:55

When you ovulate you are already 2 weeks pregnant. So calculate ovulation date + 2 weeks

I have had a dip this morning at 6/7dpo

TerribleImagination · 08/05/2020 09:07

@Fisher1008 Aww congrats, that’s amazing news!! I tested for the first time at 12DPO, then again 3 days later to use up my tests and cos the Asda one had been very very faint before. Both were loads darker so I’ve stopped testing and I’ve turned my RHR off on my watch. Pregnancy after a MC is an anxious enough time, without me obsessing over my heart rate too 😆🙈

TerribleImagination · 08/05/2020 09:08

Also I’m measuring my weeks from my last period, mainly because it makes me 3 days further than measuring from ovulation and it’s dragging enough as it is 😂 I think it’s standard to measure from LMP anyway.

Ltay2 · 08/05/2020 09:14

Eagerly awaiting delivery of my Fitbit today! This thread has been so interesting. Loving seeing everyone's charts 🤓

Fisher1008 · 08/05/2020 09:27

@TerribleImagination I have quite long cycles so my LMP was 10th April, one app says 3w+4 but the other is 4w+1 I’ll take the later! It’ll be a mid Jan baby 👶🏻

I’m going to finish my last pregnancy test next week then and then I’ll stop tracking. I’ll stop my BBT tomorrow I hate that thing anyway!

I don’t know when to tell me parents and MIL it’ll be both their first grandchild so they’ll be delighted ✨

SmileyT · 08/05/2020 10:07

@Fisher1008 yay to getting clearer lines, I'd definitely advise not driving yourself mad with test, tracking RHR and BBT in pregnancy. Maybe get an early scan at around 8 weeks so you get to see the little bean before your 12 week scan. The midwife will generally calculate from LMP so 4weeks1 sounds right but then when you have your scan they'll date you again based on size and update your Estimated Due Date (EDD) ❤️❤️❤️

LV1987 · 08/05/2020 10:08

Morning all

@SmileyT sounds like the corner shop guy needs to wind his neck in 😂 I had two silly cries yesterday, both of which made me think AF was on her way... The first was because my OH was being thoughtful, the second because we put money into a charity box for some VE day flags 🤦‍♀️ I had a really tough day at work yesterday so I'm blaming it on that 😂 RHR still at 63 today, hoping for more of a rise tomorrow 🤞

LV1987 · 08/05/2020 10:08

And yay @Fisher1008! That's wonderful news x

SmileyT · 08/05/2020 10:09

@popcorndiva sorry your hr seems to be dropping but just remember this isn't an exact science and some women don't see a big rise until 13/14dpo so you're not out until AF arrives 🙌🏾
