I saw a thread about this back from 2019, a few people noticed their resting heart rate started to increase steadily after ovulation and they got there bfp. (Although people did report it rose then dropped before AF)

Just wondering if anyone on here has tracked and got a definite bfp?

I'm currently 10dpo and my heart rate has jumped from 60bpm to 67bpm since ovulation.

Not sure when my period is due as they are irregular.

Attached my chart too!

@SmileyT thanks... Last month it was a lot clearer (although not quite textbook) so I am wondering if lock down is affecting me more than I realise. I don't feel particularly stressed, but I guess you don't have to feel it mentally for it to be reflected physically. Bloody rona!

Man I miss netball! I played up until about 4 years ago, when I managed to break an ankle in a game (carried on playing until the whistle, totally made it worse). My ankle has never been the same again and when I tried to go back, I kept injuring it all over again... Then I went and broke the other one in a go kart crash and I knew that was it for me 🙄😭 are you missing it during lock down? What position do you play? I have always been a Centre at heart, but played quite a bit of my last tournament in GD and loved it!

SmileyT · 05/05/2020 09:38

@LV1987 I loved playing WD but I'd often get lured into C, I just found it so much hard work 🤣 netball injuries are a real thing so many Achilles and finger injuries, think we had about 3 broken fingers over the years. Yeah I think its really interesting to have an idea of what affects RHR but it's affected by so many things that we probably don't even know. I know i shouldn't have but I went mad drinking and smoking the two weeks after my MC so that probably made mine shoot up 😬 are you going to test at all or just leave it a couple more weeks?

@Juno231 looking back mine always seems to start high have a dip in the middle and then come back up, god knows what that means 🤷🏾‍♀️

LV1987 · 05/05/2020 09:44

@SmileyT ooooh I loved the running around like a blue arsed fly that being C entailed! It still comes in handy now when playing catch with my two step sons. I literally never had any injuries when I played as a kid, but I do remember having a broken finger from a bad catch and trying to type at work with it strapped up 😂

Based on last month, AF is due on Monday, so I think I will test then just to be sure. If I my RHR goes over my highest point of 66bpm before then, I might crack though! How about you?

Fisher1008 · 05/05/2020 11:39

@SmileyT I think you’re right and exercise will have an impact, my RHR went up today to 60bpm up 1bpm. I used to play netball too although the leagues been off for a while now, this is week 7 of lockdown for us and I’m starting to get bored!

I’m sorry to hear about your loss, hoping you get your rainbow baby soon! This is only our first month properly trying too, we decided last month to start trying as we had a big holiday planned for summer that won’t be happening now... so we thought why wait? When I checked though I had probably ovulated 3/4 days before, so I feel like I’ve been waiting ages for this cycle! I have long cycles too 34-36days.

I have literally no symptoms at 8 DPO, not even normal PMS symptoms! Going to keep an eye on my RHR in the next two days 🤞🏻 it starts jumping up!!!

@popcorndiva mine RHR dipped at 3 DPO too it’s just been fluctuating between 58bpm & 59bpm for a week!

SmileyT · 05/05/2020 16:05

@LV1987 FF is telling me to test on 21st which would be 19dpo I'm not sure even I have that much patience but probably around 16dpo I can't be arsed wasting tests for my period to turn up a few hours later. Well if AF is due Monday testing over the weekend will still give you a clear line 🤞 I'm feeling strangely calm about it all, very unlike me, but I'm sure next week that will change.

@Fisher1008 I don't think you are alone in having to cancel plans this summer and bringing forward the baby making plans, makes sense to try and put all this time to good use. You definitely aren't out as you won't get any pg symptoms before about 9/10dpo and most don't get them until 5/6weeks. I'm actually just curious to see my hr chart through a full cycle then I'll know what to compare it to. Still being at work has meant not so much time to obsess 😂

LV1987 · 05/05/2020 19:01

@SmileyT I'm feeling calm too, but I think that's only because I'm so unsure of where I am. If I knew for certain that Monday was the definite end of this cycle/start of the next one, I'm not sure I would be! Ask me again at the weekend though 😂

SmileyT · 05/05/2020 19:27

@LV1987 yeah I'm trying really hard not to look forward too much just focus on how I feel right now otherwise I get carried away... I'm not into meditation as my brain is always on crack but found this very soothing m.youtube.com/watch?v=z_oUeOJsqtE

popcorndiva · 06/05/2020 07:35

Rhr is the same as yesterday so feel a little less stressed. Currently 3 or 4dpo

BabyDust13 · 06/05/2020 08:51

No movement since ovulation 6DPO today 🤷🏻‍♀️

Juno231 · 06/05/2020 09:13

@popcorndiva I'm 3DPO and had a dip today!

Hey everyone 👋🏻 So that dip I had at 8DPO was implantation! 🥰 Finally after 5 months trying after the MC, I got my BFP on Saturday ❤️ I don’t have a Fitbit, but here’s the list for anyone who’s interested! I took it off on Sunday though, so I don’t obsess over my heart rate 🙈 Pregnancy after a MC is stressful enough without another thing to worry over!

Good luck to those due to test soon! 😍

@Mrsirvine you might find this thread interesting.

@TerribleImagination congrats again so happy for you and I'm so glad you aren't obsessing over the HR - sending you loads of love 💕

popcorndiva · 06/05/2020 09:46

Oooh @juno231 your chart looks like mine. As i now check my rhr when waking as it changes overnight, I find it amusing that it thinks i have done 30 steps overnight.

Juno231 · 06/05/2020 09:57

@terribleimagination congratulations! I'm glad that's what the dip was 💪

@popcorndiva or maybe you do 😱 - walk around in your sleep that is.

Fingers crossed more of us join terribleimagination with BFPs this month!

BabyDust13 · 06/05/2020 10:00

@TerribleImagination congratulations and thanks for sharing your chart 🥰

TerribleImagination · 06/05/2020 10:35

Thanks everyone ❤️ I hope you all get your BFP’s this month too!

lavenderlove · 06/05/2020 10:48

Hi I hope you don't mind me jumping on this thread, I read through and immediately charged my Fitbit up 😂 It's 8 months since my mc and not a flicker of hope since then! Hoping I will be able to confirm ovulation by looking at my rhr chart. I think I'm going to ovulate tomorrow as my opk is so close to being positive (think it will be later tonight). However my rhr jumped up 3 today so I will see what it says in the morning!
Congrats to everyone who has got their BFP on this thread! X

LV1987 · 06/05/2020 13:03

@SmileyT thank you for sharing that :)

Here is today's graph... It's down again! Interestingly, fitbit predicts that ovulated on 29th April - its decided this as it goes by average cycle length over the few that I have entered, whereas my period tracking app is set to go by last month's cycle and predicts the 26th April. I only spotted that this morning, but the fitbit date is on a valley, but the period tracking date is on the peak immediately before. Last month's ovulation date was on a valley with a peak immediately beforehand, so I may have finally found a pattern and solved the riddle of when I ovulated 🤞

Luckily we DTD a couple of times around both dates!

BabyDust13 · 06/05/2020 13:07

I had a dip in temp on Saturday but I thought I only ovulated Thursday 🤷🏻‍♀️

Fisher1008 · 06/05/2020 19:49

So I think I’ve got my BFP today on an Amazon cheapie! Completely caved at 9 DPO, I can’t catch it on camera as it’s so faint, but I can see the full outline when up to the windows with natural light!

My RHR is still 60 bpm so since I ovulated I’ve only increased 1 bpm. I’ve looked back on a few threads and so people RHR increased significantly at 12 DPO so hopefully I will now see a rise!

Just ordered some FRER tests as I only had the cheapies that come with OPKs 🤞🏻it’s not an indent.

I want to test again but I’ve had a lot of water so think it will be too diluted.

popcorndiva · 06/05/2020 19:53

Oooh that's fab news @Fisher1008. Fingers crossed for you

Been a lot less stressed today. Think I have finally realised most of it is out of my control

SmileyT · 06/05/2020 20:35

@LV1987 so that means you are due AF around the 13th... exciting 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 how are you feeling?

My RHR seems to have plateaued but having looked back to Jan when I got pregnant after ovulation it plateaued for 7 days before rising so maybe mine will be clearer by the end of the week 🤷‍♀️

Congrats @Fisher1008 when do your FRER arrive? Have you told your OH?

BabyDust13 · 06/05/2020 20:40

@Fisher1008 congratulations 🥳

LV1987 · 06/05/2020 21:13

@SmileyT... If I am right, then I will feel accomplished! As I will only know if I do indeed get AF, it's kinda left me feeling more positive about potentially getting her, as at least I've worked out what my body is doing 🤞 physically, I'm actually feeling like she might be closer than the 13th but we shall see! How are you doing?
