I saw a thread about this back from 2019, a few people noticed their resting heart rate started to increase steadily after ovulation and they got there bfp. (Although people did report it rose then dropped before AF)

Just wondering if anyone on here has tracked and got a definite bfp?

I'm currently 10dpo and my heart rate has jumped from 60bpm to 67bpm since ovulation.

Not sure when my period is due as they are irregular.

Attached my chart too!

So I'm CD15 and still no whiff of ovulation 🤷‍♀️. Expected it CD13 but all OPKs are still negative and my RHR is still really low so I'm just waiting patiently.

Oh came home with 2 FRER so I caved! I could have waited but he was worried about Covid so wanted to know either way ASAP which I understand!

There is definitely something in the RHR theory! So happy but nervous too! Lots of baby dust to you all SmileStar

Congrats @kfcplease 🥳

@Juno231 my opks were all negative then turned positive yesterday afternoon and RHR raised this morning so it could be just around the corner for you aswell 🤞

popcorndiva · 03/05/2020 08:36

My rhr is at the peak today of 75. If we have been lucky, do i expect a drop then a rise, just so I am not disappointed.

kfcplease · 03/05/2020 09:16

How many dpo are you? My drop started at 7 dpo then went back up

popcorndiva · 03/05/2020 09:31

Think I ovulated last night, rhr climbed overnight 2bpm

Juno231 · 03/05/2020 10:55

@popcorndiva in that case if you have implantation there's normally an implantation dip but it should go back up again before AF is due

Fisher1008 · 03/05/2020 11:45

I’ve just caught up on this thread and I’m completely fascinated by it! Congratulations everyone that got their BFP. I’m currently 6 DPO, my RHR hasn’t changed much I haven’t seen any sharp rises but I imagine they only happen after implantation so hopefully still have time!

This might stop me POAS early since I can just track my RHR 🤞🏻

I ovulated on Monday and today is Sunday, the slight RHR increases are days I’ve exercised (I think).

Since last posting on the 29th, my RHR is still playing silly buggers! I've had another rise, and another drop... It's starting to look like some weird as mountain range 😑 I had EWCM for the second time in my cycle on the 1st and 2nd May, but dry as the Sahara today, so who knows what's going on... If this cycle results in a BFP, I will be wildly surprised, I definitely think there is something in this theory but bugger me if I can get my body to follow it 😂

BabyDust13 · 04/05/2020 14:49

Getting a bit obsessed with looking at my Fitbit I'm not really sure what I'm looking for I'm only 4DPO 😂

Juno231 · 04/05/2020 14:53

RHR jumped to 65 today and I think I ovulated yesterday so is kinda in line? Might just be the whisky I had last night though 🙊. Fingers crossed for a sudden dip in a week's time 🤞

BabyDust13 · 04/05/2020 15:08

@Juno231 good luck

Is that what I'm looking for a dip then a rise again? Good to know 😊

Juno231 · 04/05/2020 16:18

@BabyDust13 yes there's usually quite a steep implantation dip and then it goes back up and stays up. If it starts dropping ahead of AF is due it's a pretty sure sign AF is on its way.

popcorndiva · 04/05/2020 16:22

Another ruse today. 2dpo

Kona84 · 04/05/2020 20:22

Wow congratulations @kfcplease

I’m still at 65bpm on CD4.
I think this month I’m gonna try and BD on when my HR starts rising.
I’m still gonna do OPKs to track but I feel quite certain that my body and HR know what it’s doing so I’m gonna trust it.
Fingers crossed for a March baby

Kona84 · 04/05/2020 20:24

@Fisher1008 your HR is sooo relaxed.

Fisher1008 · 04/05/2020 21:14

I know @Kona84 I’m patiently waiting for any dip or rise?

Looking at the month view the blue dot it when AF arrived, and the pink when I ovulated. I’m 7 DPO, I’m hoping to see a dip 9 DPO or maybe a rise at 10 DPO? My RHR is not as high as it was last month before AF. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

SmileyT · 04/05/2020 21:31

@LV1987 I've got to say no wonder you are confused with your cycle this month, but as the Drs say just DTD every couple days and you know you've covered any possible ovulation.

Good luck for this month @popcorndiva and @BabyDust13 hopefully you see some movement in the next week to indicate this is your month 🤞

So interesting to look at your chart @Fisher1008 do you exercise regularly? I've basically stopped this month and it's seemed much more linear strangely.

I've attached my chart but the 72 was the day before AF and the low was the day before my peak opk (2 days before ovulation) now it seems to be on its way up again.

I'm obsessed with looking at this and my temp chart now 🙈

BabyDust13 · 04/05/2020 21:42

@SmileyT thank you I'm not exactly sure when I ovulated but I think it was the 30th but we DTD a lot that week

Fisher1008 · 04/05/2020 21:49

That’s such a big dip! @SmileyT I’m fascinated with tracking RHR, I’ve been BBT tracking too but I also haven’t seen the temp rise I wouldn’t normally see in LP. I’m trying to be interested but not too obsessive as there is literally nothing you can do to change it.

Going to try and wait until 12 DPO which will be this weekend 🤞🏻. I’ve been reading the Ava blog to stop me symptom spotting as they basically dispel them all which has helped me wait haha!

How many months have you been trying?

Fisher1008 · 04/05/2020 21:51

Also yes I have been exercising more, maybe that is it? @SmileyT

SmileyT · 04/05/2020 22:22

Well hopefully come the end of next week all will be clear @BabyDust13 x

@Fisher1008 pre lockdown I used to go to the gym 5/6 times a week and play netball twice a week and kinda makes sense that if I played two hrs of netball and then went to bed an hour later my resting hr might be higher that day so may have skewed the natural rise and fall. I actually had a surprise pregnancy early this year that sadly ended in MC in March so this is first full cycle ttc (ironically only symptom I had of pg was my RHR sky rocketed on Fitbit). I totally agree that it isn't an exact science and no point getting overly obsessed with the results but I'm definitely obsessed with trying to understand my own pattern a bit more. How long have you been trying?

popcorndiva · 05/05/2020 07:51

Is this a bad sign that it's dropped at 3dpo?

Tracking your cycle and possible bfp with rhr on Fitbit.
Juno231 · 05/05/2020 08:01

@popcorndiva at 3dpo it's just fluctuations tbh - your body won't know you're pregnant until implantation so ignore the RHR until then. IF it was to drop and stay down after 3dpo every cycle then maybe I'd consider a hormonal imbalance affecting your LP but I seriously doubt it!

Juno231 · 05/05/2020 08:04

@SmileyT wow your rise and dip is the opposite of my normal cycles! I would have 72 for ovulation and then 60 for AF.
