anyone looking to TTC may/June onwards?

Hi everyone 💕

Currently still have the Mirena coil in which I’m wanting to have taken out in may, have a DD who is 3 and wanting to start TTC from June onwards. Hoping to have a spring/summer baby so I can time it with my toddler going to school.

Has anyone got any story’s with conceiving after the Mirena coil or looking to conceive around may/June 😘

Sorry been a bit awol.
How is everyone?? I work with someone who had the coil in for 5 years had hers taken out 6 months ago and she’s only just had a period this week and she’s been trying since she had it taken out.
Not sure how long I’ll have to wait to have mine taken out but hoping as I’ve had mine in less years my body can hopefully return back to normal soon!

@Justkeepswimming91 I sometimes spot for 3 days before AF so I’d still say it’s a good sign it’s on the way 👍🏼

I managed to have my coil taken out at work last week from one of the gynaecologists.

Not sure how long it’ll take for a proper period but hopefully will be August/September time. X

I stopped my pill 3 weeks ago, still waiting for a withdrawal bleed. I've been feeling crap the last 2 days, fatigue and boobs so so sore. I don't recall this last time I came off the pill before having DD. No idea on my cycle it's all over the place, will just wait for period after the withdrawal bleed and then see what happens. Relaxed about it for now, we were so lucky falling with DD (literally the first time 🙈) I think no pressure played a big part in it 😊

I know right I’m glad I work in that field 😬 otherwise be waiting months.

Past few days I’ve had lots of mucus and light red blood, headache and metallic taste in my mouth! Said to husband we will wait until my period comes so use condoms in the mean time but this could be months! I hope yours comes soon then at least you’ve got an idea of your cycle!

I feel scared to attempt to have any sort of sex incase I fall straight away 😂 xx

@stickytoffeepud2412 that's a good sign then! My cycle has just been bizarre since having DD, got referred to hosp for a scan which revealed nothing 🤷‍♀️

I'm the same, relying on condoms makes me a bit nervous too. Don't want to fall before first week in July as I'd miss out on very good maternity pay from work which I need 2 years service for 🙈

Glad to hear it got the coil out! I'm in my 2WW right now, so counting down to the 19th for testing. I've been DTD almost every day in my fertile window this month so hoping that helps 😆

I'm now finally off the pill, currently on day 12. This month we aren't actively trying but we aren't protecting either

So I finished my period last Tuesday/Wednesday I think. So heading into fertile window maybe that’s if my cycle is back to normal. So not planning on DTD around that time.

Now CD18, think I ovulated either CD13/14. Had some serious cramping yesterday though at CD17 which was strange as AF wouldn't be due until CD28 and if I have already ovulated then that throws that one out the window... but then again I am seriously symptom spotting 🤣 If it's implantation though I will take it but it seems a bit early...

I've been furloughed so I don't have anything better to do!

Now I'm just trying to hold off testing as I am only 4/5dpo and there is nooooo point in poas 🙈

AF arrived a couple of days ago although so this must be my withdrawal bleed. It's quite strange, even though I had random bleeding whilst on the pill, they seem to have suppressed any cramping because my god this time I feel the cramping, my boobs are also colossal.

Probably stop using protection at the start of next month and see what happens. In two minds whether to wait a bit longer as we're currently about a quarter of the way into a house extension, really don't want to be decorating at 39 weeks again but we seem inadvertently plan these things that way 🙈

@Smushty14 i hate the days after DPO they drag so much dont they and i feel you just pace about waiting for the days to POAS.

do you have any other children to pass the time away??? when would you be POAS anyway??

@bez91 good news that AF has come, is this your first since being of the pill? i remember having a withdrawal bleed on mine then my actual period came about 35 days later then it got shorter and my cycle went to about 28 days. i agree, the cramps are absolutely horrendous arent they the one i had after my coil was really uncomfortable and my stomach doubled in size.

I know i would like to wait another month before actively trying as im aiming for may/june/july/august baby... and as i work bank shifts to get SMP i need to of worked for 26 weeks which is end of july. If not i am able to get MA which is better than nothing also! I suppose when we plan nothing goes right haha!! x

@stickytoffeepud2412 yes first one since coming off pill. You can never time these things I suppose but hopefully it falls ok so you can get the better pay 🤞🏼
My DD who is 2.5 has been saying I want a baby sister for about a year 😂

So my first proper AF turned up yesterday!! Can’t believe how quick my body has reacted I thought I’d be waiting months. According to ovia due to ovulate round about 5th July so will track and see if it’s correct. Will be avoiding DTD like the plague until after that hopefully start actively trying for August ovulation xx

So I poas yesterday - according to one of my apps I would have been 9dpo but there was no sign of a second line. I'm still deciding whether to go again tomorrow (11dpo) or wait for Wednesday (12dpo) another app reckons I ovulated early but who has a clue?!

I have three ic's so I may just do tomorrow, Thursday and then af is due on Saturday

Also this would be baby number 1 🎉

Im good thank you 😊 I'm just racking my brains as no good with dates and these calculations so trying to work out when we can start TTC, well to stop using protection just incase I fall straight away (like last time) trying to avoid that as basically if I fall pregnant and have baby pre April 1st 2021 it'll cost me 11k in lost maternity benefits - ouch 😂

I can't work it out and I think it's to tight so I think we'll hold off until after my next period. It's driving my mad waiting, I don't know about you?

I work in property management - repairs/maintenance, contact management, H&S etc for a local authority outfit.

It may be the progesterone, see what happens at the next AF, who'd be a women eh? I'm ok, apparently period is due this weekend - who knows, being irregular I'd be surprised if it showed up but after this weekend we'll just stop using protection I think and see what happens

@stickytoffeepud2412 I'm now CD32 and no sign of AF 🧐 I don't actually know if I 100% ovulated and if I did, when.

@bez91 sounds so interesting!! What will the mat pay be like when you do go off??
I know right I mean I thought after coming off the coil my periods would be horrendous I mean 2 and a half years of none surely my body needed a clear out

Do you feel like you are due to come on?? I always get absolutely ravenous and bloat loads.
How exciting that next month you could be pregnant 🤰🏼 would that be an April due date? Xx
