anyone looking to TTC may/June onwards?

Hi everyone 💕

Currently still have the Mirena coil in which I’m wanting to have taken out in may, have a DD who is 3 and wanting to start TTC from June onwards. Hoping to have a spring/summer baby so I can time it with my toddler going to school.

Has anyone got any story’s with conceiving after the Mirena coil or looking to conceive around may/June 😘

@OrangeBird how did the blood test go?
I Haven’t had a period since my coil either but I was already pretty regular before that so hoping everything resumes!

I’m not bad @GeePipe I’ve given up chocolate for lent and I’m sat in urgent care centre cause I think I have a UTI or might be thrush. The joys! How are you?

Oh no! Hope you feel better soon that sounds awful :( im ok. Stressed as dps ex is returning next month so i dont know where i stand. But things are ok works stressful. The only good thing about gaining weight is i can comfort eat all the bad stuff lol.

I have a DD who will be 3 in November. We always said we'd start TTC when she was 3, but I'm broody and to be fair conceiving yesterday wouldn't be quick enough lol DP says wait until summer so there's a gap between the two birthdays. (if I conceived this month my due date would be the exact same as my DDs due date was!)

I'm starting to track my periods and ovulations this month so I know where it all is.

Not on any pill or implant etc, just condoms so no need to plan in whne to come off / stop using birth control.

@GeePipe well it’s just thrush no uti hooray! On a 12 hour shift today and itchy bits do not go well ha! Oh no way what’s the situation with her?? Does she not like that you and DP are together?

@stickytoffepud2412 blood test went well. Thanks for asking. All the "bad things" in my body are slowly going away and my new medication is doing its job. I also asked the doctor about ovulation after the coil and she seemed pretty relaxed. She said the worst thing about the coil is having taken it out because they don't where you are in your cycle and your cervix might be closed or almost closed. So it can hurt. Very reassuring .I'm glad it's "only" thrush. Even though that can be very uncomfortable too

Hope everyones doing good. Thank goodness its not a uti :) ah with dps ex its a mess. Hes never met his ds before as she wont allow it and too much outing info to post on here. He has pined for his son since his birth and now she will be coming back to live with dps relatives. She doesnt know i exist.

I have 3 DD, aged 7,4&3. It wouldn't have been me I've been a lurker for ages lol only started posting recently 🙂

Yeah cant lie i do worry he will leave me for her to be a real family. Bit i have to wait and see and hope this doesnt put him off ttc with me.

Aw bless 3 year olds say all kinds of mad stuff. I had a 5 year old at work ask me if i was born with my tattoos and was i a real adult . My nephew also once told a woman at the bus stop that i am not a lady

My 2 year old frequently refers to me as a boy / he 😳

Also calls her aunt a whale. Brutal.

Children are so weird when you think about it. my nephews always say things that can come across really badly but so funny.

Lol I don't feel like a real adult!! She does make me laugh when she's not calling me old anyway!! They can be brutal but she did say I was beautiful so I will forgive her

I'm sure you will be alright geepipe. But I can understand that it is nerve wracking for you.
I don't have any children yet but your stories are funny. Sometimes they just say out loud what everyone was thinking anyway but were too afraid of saying

Nice save OrangeBird 😂. What's everyone doing this weekend im fed up of this awful weather, I have to scour the charity shops for a Victorian child's outfit and two world book Day outfits 😬

No plans but so sick of being stuck inside with the rubbish weather.

DD wants to go to the 'bike play place' ie Halfords. Oh to be 2 years old and find fun in simple places lol.

I no what you mean it's really difficult when the weather's rubbish. Roll on summer then we can all moan about how hot it is lol.

I had a night shift last night so just woke up. Thrush is still there but a lot better!
