First month of ttc

Hey girls... thought I'd make a new post I'm struggling to find new ones 😂 I'm 28 nearly 29 and my other half is also the same age! I'm currently on my period and this is the month we have decided to start trying! I'm so excited but also do not want to get my Hope's up as I know it can be a very long journey to get that BFP! Anyone else trying this month? I'm looking to get ovulation sticks to increase my chances xxx

I can't stop watching OBEM at the mo too😂😂

We have a french bulldog too!! He is our baby.

Going to try holding off testing to Saturday, that will make me 11/12 dpo. But there's a strong 95% chance I'll cave before then 😂

I am testing again tomorrow, although still early as AF due on Thursday. No patience whatsoever.

I think I'm going to test on Saturday! We've been busy raising our dog too

@pineapple2 I love OBEM, feels like I've seen most of them!

@Mc3209 yes I think Ive seen most of them and I always cry without fail lol some of the dads annoy me..saw one and it made me cringe..she was obviously in pain and the father was making sexual comments..it's was horrible, had to turn that one off.

I'm going to try and wait till the day af is due but I know I won't.

What OBEM? Yea il join you all il test on Saturday aswell! I'm going to but the first response so il go shopping in the week so it's all ready for my disappointment 😂😂 xxx

Oh just used my common sense... one born every minute .. love that I've watched a few not all of them though I end up making myself jealous 😂 il watch more when I finally get a BFP 😂 xxx

Yes I'd like to test with everyone on Saturday...eeeek 5 days before af is due..Are they really that reliable that soon?

@pineapple2 the first response are says you can test 6 days early... watched a lot of YouTube videos to about them xxx

What's everyone going to be up to? I'm on annual leave until the 26th feb so it's going to be nice to just chill out and be a lady of leisure for abit but won't be distracted with work...
I've just uploaded 2,500 photos to boots to print off lol never got round to doing it which includes my wedding and honeymoon so that will be nice to do..that's my distraction lol

Roll on Saturday! 😫 we will all have to be up bright and early with our first morning urine Haha not going to tell my OH because he will get excited about it! If I get a negative il just make out I havent tested and wait for period to arrive xxx

That's exciting @pineapple2 what are you going to do with them all?!

I'm working Mon-Fri then have a week annual leave so hopefully will be distracted up to test day

@primrose2020 I like scrapbooking so going to get going on that which I have put off for so long..
So been distracting by going on Pinterest aswell my favourite app aswell as Mumsnet 😂😂

It's so nice to have women going through this with you..no one knows we are TTC. And I don't like constantly pointing out every symptom I experience to DH as he will get excited and make me more sad and upset when af comes..

I was a young mum when I had my daughter and at the time I didn't think of any of this..breezed through it I suppose...
We have had tests done and nothing is wrong..but staying positive ❤️

@pineapple2 that's a lot of photos! I am yet to sort out photo frames for our wedding photos. Maybe now is the time

@pineapple2 @primrose2020 Any exciting plans for annual leave?

@abby25 I am also not going to tell DH that I am testing tomorrow. I'd rather digest first whatever the test shows. If it's negative will not tell him I tested, just wait for AF.

This TTC business is emotionally exhausting. And it's only cycle one..

@pineapple2 we haven't told anyone either but sometimes I wish I could talk to friends about it! That's why it's great we all found each other on here! Have the rest of you told anyone you're TTC?

@mc3209 I know! I wonder how people keep going with this for years! It's very emotionally exhausting!

@pineapple2 that's sounds good - very productive & distracting so win win.

I feel the same - we haven't told anyone and I'm trying not to seem to psycho about it all to Husband. He wants it just as me but is so laid back he's horizontal whereas I'm a control freak.

Nothing planned for week off @Mc3209 which is sometimes better than lots of plans!! Very jealous of Paris tho, have you been before? We went a couple of years ago for my birthday and I loved it x

No plans as such. Do like to book a holiday when I have annual leave but we came back from Florida in October so skint at the moment plus Christmas...so this week I'll be decluttering the house, meet up with some friends and just chill and drive myself mad with the TWW

How long has everyone been trying again?

I think if I told my friends we were TTC it would just put pressure on us..plus one of my friends did get pregnant. It wasn't a planned pregnancy and I was very happy for her but also slightly envious...but hey ho it will happen when it happens..

@pineapple2 ah I'm soooooo jealous I really want to go to Florida!!! (Well disney) 😂 me and OH were looking at holidays the other day and he has a set two weeks off every summer which happen to fall in school holidays so everywhere is double the price! Drives me mad he found a deal to Morocco for 1700 each all inclusive for a week... I was like that is not a deal that ridiculous 😂 I said if you want to spend nearly 2 grand each then we are going all out to Disney 😂😂 but obviously not booking anything yet I dont want to travel far if pregnant by then plus would rather save the money for when babys here maternity pay isnt great is it so been saving here and there so I'm not bored when I have a baby font want to be at home all the time I want to be shopping like going for coffee everyday with friends lol I've told my 3 best friends that we have started trying... one of them gave birth a few days ago my ovaries burst! 😂 hes so beautiful! in a way wish I didnt now as feel like every month they are going to ask if it's happened yet but felt like I needed reassurance they all have young ones! It's our first month of TTC so may have a long wait! I'm not a lucky person so convinced it's going to take us a while xxx

@primrose2020 I have been before, but it was a while back, so I am looking forward to going back. A bit unsure about those protests, but apparently they are getting better now (at least metro is working etc).

I've told 2 of my close friends, one of whom has been trying for a while. Also 2 girls at work are also trying but we don't really talk about it.
