ttc after mc July/August 2007 - shiny new thread as the other was full

winemakesmummyclever · 30/08/2007 11:29

Hi,

I hope nobody minds me adding a new thread, but the other wouldn't let me reply.

LadyLush - Sorry to hear about your loss . In answer to your question, I thought I was around 11-12 weeks pg, but the scan said the baby was around 8-9 weeks. When I'd had the ERPC, the gynae reg said the uterus was around 14weeks and the baby was still 8-9 weeks.
I'm sure things do get better with time, but things are still pretty raw and new for me. I'm glad things are getting back to normal for you (and hopefully for others too).

WHAT IS CD4 ETC?

KashaSarrasin · 11/09/2007 20:39

Hiya - first post on this thread. I m/c on Aug 29th at 9 weeks feel just about OK now physically but mentally's going to take a bit longer... We're starting to TTC again straight away, officially we're waiting till I get AF but unofficially we're Not Avoiding TTC and just seeing what happens.

I'm charting temperatures but finding that my temperature is still quite elevated at ~36.8, at the level I'd normally expect post-O. Anyone got any experience of this?

Looking forward to getting to know you better and hope we all get to the pg thread soon!

ILTS - glad things are kicking off beware though as with me the bleeding came and went
i.e. sometimes it was just blood then came the clots, yes you are right the clots kind of slop out and you can feel it, it's like just after you have had a baby

TJuice - I just said I was CD waiting until I got my first AF because you really don't know when AF will (and if) turn up.

hello to everyone else x
kasha - welcome to the thread but sad you had to join us

ronshar · 11/09/2007 22:07

Can I add myself?
DD x2 8 & 3.
MC in March 07 ERPC.
CD2.
Af turned up yesterday. I dont know why but it is very heavy this month same as last month. Pretty crampy as well! Oh well all adds to the joy.

ronshar · 11/09/2007 22:23

That will teach me for not looking properly.
You have all added yourselves all the same way. Sorry.

mcchesers · 11/09/2007 23:41

hey ladies. Back from the docs Lcy and she did the pelvic exam and said I was " all clear" but that I was probably feeling my ovulation.

ILTS - I have to agree with SK. The first pill can give you clots and bleeding, but the scan will show if you will need to stay in. I thought I was done on the Monday, but the scan showed otherwise for me on the Tuesday. You might want to bring your change of clothes bag and snacks just in case. Wear the paper pants they give you. I ruined a perfectly good pair of pants that day. I've got everything crossed for you that it goes well and you get home asap!

kasha - welcome, so sorry about your m/c , but everyone is really nice and supportive here.

Any word from Flosspot? thinking of you x

Hello everyone. ILTS glad it is coming to an end for you. I agree you should let your dp pamper you for a while or you both should be pampered - afterall, it's hard for the dps too.

cricri - so sad to hear of your mmc. I had one at 12 weeks and feotus was almost 8 so it was a shock to me also to not know that the baby had died. I hope whatever you decide that it is over soon as the waiting is the worst bit. I have done the wait and see option and the surgery and preferred the latter as I only had the emotional bit to deal with.

Glad your physical challenges went well Jules - sounds like you had a great sense of achievement

Hi Kensgirl - welcome back after your 2 day break

jess1996 · 12/09/2007 08:32

Hello, I thought I'd rejoin you as I'm now feeling pretty much fully recovered from my ep. I'm afraid I don't know many of the names on the list - sorry for those who've had to join (but pleased for those who've graduated).

For those who don't know I had an ep at the beginning of August which had to be dealt with surgically. I had af 30 days post-surgery and it seemed to be a normal cycle (plenty of ewcm and then sore boobs in the 2ww). I can't face another month of not trying, so I thought I'd get back to ttc this month.

I'm not sure whether I should be on the ttc after m/c or ttc after ep threads. I think I'll have to join both .

Hi mcchesers - good news on the all clear! i have had quite obvious (sometimes painful) ovulation this month - i am hoping it is a sign of strong fertility

Cricri - how are you doing?

ILTS - i am glad you are ok and hope you are being pampered. I took Spatone Iron for a week after miscarriage because all that blood loss made me feel weak!

Jess1996 - im sorry to hear about your EP - lets hope this is a lucky month for all of us

Hi to everyone else - lets hope that this list of names diminishes quickly and we all get to meet again on the Pregnancy boards

I am now on my 2 week wait - must say i am relieved the pressure to BD all the time is off! Now we can just do it for fun

cricri · 12/09/2007 12:15

Hi everybody,
I think it might be starting naturally which is good news - a bit of spotting and some cramps this morning.
I went to see my homeopath this morning (I'm a great believer in complementary therapies) and she gave me lots of remedies to take so hopefully they're working. She gave me several for emotional support too.
I also found out yesterday that our local private hospital does the medically managed procedure but hopefully I won't need that.
It's not pleasant to think about what's happening and I did have some wobbly moments this morning, but on the whole I'm OK. Thanks for your concern Lcy. DH seems to be OK too but I think he's finding it difficult to know what to say to me.
Hope everybody else is OK and particularly ILTS.

winemakesmummyclever · 12/09/2007 12:16

Hi folks,

I am in the hotel and doing absolutely nothing for the whole day - it's very strange & quiet without ds. I'm so tired that I think I shall just sleep, read and scoff lovely Bewley's cakes until dh comes back from his conference. Really cannot be arsed to schlepp into town and do stuff (though I do feel slightly guilty about being so lazy ).

I have got my interview for the MMU course next week - I shall have to seek out the studenty bit on here. Am I mad to think I can do p/t study and cope with another baby? Probably , but am going to try for both anyway.

I have added myself to the roll call, taking day 1 from the day on the ERPC - is that right?

Thought I should bring up the next cakefest...well WMMC did mention cakes!!

I know that October has been splashed around, so that means you need to do two things:

  1. If you want to change the venue from Otto Lenghis, come up with a suggestion...
  2. Give me dates and times...

Easy!
