TTC 6months + please can people share some positive stories

Feel like everywhere I look people are getting BFPs which is great but I’m starting to worry a bit. We’ve been trying since June and have had nothing yet. OH had sperm tests last year as part of something else and all came back fine. I’m 28 and he’s 41 so age hopefully shouldn’t be a problem.
Please could people share some positive 6 month+ ttc stories to cheer me up and stop me stressing as I know that won’t help all this either.
Also if anyone else is in the same situation and wants to chat that would be lovely.

I'm 3dpo now and already impatient. I have a blood test and oh has sperm test on Friday x

Hi @Ellsbells112 im good thanks. Im 8 DPO based on 2 apps and one app says im 7 DPO. I temped this month so its nice to known I ovulated. It did drop slightly this morning but i barely slept so think its that rather than my progeseterone dropping already. I started spotting 9 DPO last month so hoping its not the same this month.I am symptom spotting like crazy but actually nothing going on. My husbands SA came back and he has super sperm which is a relief but makes it frustarting that it isnt happening. Ive had my day 21 test should hopefully get results tomorrow. Hope your tests go ok xx

@Trying2019 oh that's excellent!! My OH goes on Friday and I get my day 21 bloods done on Friday too, so we will probably know something by the end of next week hopefully. I guess it's frustrating though because you then feel like we'll what is it then? I know I don't know how to feel, obviously I want my OH to have great sperm but I'm also like well if it is great sperm then what's the issue? Is it something darker like my tubes are destroyed? That's what I keep thinking which isn't healthy 🤦‍♀️ but I guess time will tell. Some people just take longer than others!

It was such a relief. It just reaffirms that we will have a baby eventually if he has sperm and i am ovulating. Justa matter of time. Waiting for the sperm analysis was nerve racking though.I am thinking of asking for a scan to check all my tubes are ok when i go back to doctors. Im sure they are as i never have any issues but rather get them checked just incase. Maybe do the same once your other tests are back x

So a positive story here. OH and I tried and tried and tried and no baby. We got all the tests done and were eventually told that we had unexplained infertility (we were a bit older but had been trying for years!).
We did IVF and I got pregnant on the first try (yay) so I had a lovely DD in 2017 (I was 40). We decided to try for another, in January 2019 we put money aside for IVF and set aside time in March /April of 2019 to start the process. Except that it turned out I was already pregnant - and I cannot tell you how surprised I was. I took about 7 tests before I believed it. But in September I had a little DS.
So happy. Love them both to bits.

Just wondered how everyone on here is? Unfortunately no good news for me yet but hoping something positive from one of you?

Hi @Banoffeepie91 sorry just seen your message. It's Makeafamily19, I changed my name. Not good news from me, my husbands SA results came back really bad. Really low count and issues with motility and morphology too. So that looks like our issue. The fertility specialist wanted to do a repeat in 3 months and do some more tests on me, however Covid hit. We finally have our rescheduled appointment on 30th June and husband has his 2nd SA next Friday. If the results are the same I think we will have to do IVF.
