Me again I'm becoming a burden on this site I think 🙄 lol, 11dpo is it still too early to test? Had BFN at 9dpo and again tonight with an amazon cheapie but having bad cramping in lower belly between my legs and lower/middle back feeling bloated and very sore nipples to touch I have never had cramps before AF! AF due on 21st am I out this month? Had no implantation bleeding so l presumed I was out would love any advice please! Thanks in advance!

So sorry @Bbutterfly ☹️ think I'll have a wee rum tonight and start thinking about January. Looks like hubby, who works offshore, is due back home the day before predicted ovulation... No pressure then huh, poor guy !
Still hoping for bfp's for the other ladies!!! Xxxx

NicoleR14 · 21/12/2019 13:18

If af doesn't show up any time soon today when's the best to test? I'm so confused on what to do I'm sick knicker checking and ive had to pee like 20 times today already!

On the clearblue tests it says that if you are testing on the day your af is due, it doesn't matter what time of day you test.

dizzy85 · 21/12/2019 13:57

@NicoleR14 when I got pregnant before I used a frer and tested the day before af due at about 6 in the evening I did hold my pee for a few hours though but it was a strong bfp then. What tests have you got?

everpessimistic · 21/12/2019 14:00

Its so rubbish all this waiting. I know I’m only 10DPO but I’m so fed up after so many unsuccessful months. I’m due Monday but I’m going to try hold off until Tuesday to test....BET I WONT 😂

everpessimistic · 21/12/2019 14:03

I did ovusense for the first time this month which confirmed ovulation and my temp is still up, does anyone here temp and how long before AF did your temp stay up till?

@everpessimistic nope, never temped. Thought about it but we managed to get pregnant the first time with just an ovulation calculation and opk tests (took 3 months). Trying like that again but it may be an option if it doesn't work this time...

NicoleR14 · 21/12/2019 14:21

@dizzy85 I bought clear blue tests today so I'm going to try holding it for an hour or 2 before testing!

Nmew · 21/12/2019 14:23

Never temped before but I got a bbt thermometer yesterday and plan to try this next cycle if AF arrives.

Nmew · 21/12/2019 14:23

Good luck @NicoleR14 keep us posted!

NicoleR14 · 21/12/2019 14:40

@Nmew I will thanks ladies!

@NicoleR14 good luck 🤞🏻xx

dizzy85 · 21/12/2019 14:56

I have been tempted by the temping in the past but you have to do it first thing when you wake and ideally the same time I think and I'm not very good at remembering so I know I'll be rubbish at it but lots of people seem to like it.
I think I'm just gonna start dtd as soon as af stops and do it every other day and try to chill abit more as the month I actually did get pregnant I was so relaxed about it even though it was the 6th month of trying but somehow I just chilled out and it happened.
That and the vitamins and healthy eating is the way I'm gonna try this time😊

NicoleR14 · 21/12/2019 15:37

Got a strong bfn 😢! I'll retest in the morning if af still doesn't show!

dizzy85 · 21/12/2019 15:52

Oh no I'm sorry to hear that @NicoleR14 fingers crossed for you for tomorrow x

NicoleR14 · 21/12/2019 15:56

It's so disheartening but it's not over yet! I'm keeping my hopes up! Thanks @dizzy85

ArjaD · 21/12/2019 16:48

Still keepong fx for you @NicoleR14

Nmew · 21/12/2019 18:45

Still hope yet @NicoleR14 here’s hoping!

I’m feeling pretty impatient about AF being due tomorrow, trying so hard not to think about it in case I stress and make it late lol

NicoleR14 · 21/12/2019 19:03

@Nmew I hope af doesn't show for you! Af still hasn't shown but thinking maybe my cycles going to be longer than usual as this will be my first one since having the rod out in October Confusedwho knows though maybe still time for bfp!

Nmew · 21/12/2019 22:14

Fingers crossed for all of us yet to get AF and for next cycle for those who have.

Af due tomorrow so if she doesn’t rear her head over night I think I’ll test with frer on fmu. It’ll have been a whole 4 days of not testing so I think I’ve done well 😂

Boyomama11 · 21/12/2019 22:50

It's best to test in the morning when you're urine is the most concentrated, you're more likely to get a clearer line.

NicoleR14 · 21/12/2019 23:43

I'm going to test again in the morning I'm actually sick of buying pregnancy tests!

OP posts:
Nmew · 22/12/2019 00:13

Becomes so costly @NicoleR14 I got some frer since they are on offer, have some ic and a cb digital. And I am not buying anymore, so if AF comes I’ll just have to not test loads! Might get DH to hide them lol

NicoleR14 · 22/12/2019 00:16

@Nmew it does cost far too much I bought some hgc strip tests off amazon and cb from home bargains 2 tests for £4 I thought was good considering it's £9 for 2 in boots but after my bfn tonight I'm scared to test tomorrow af is currently 2 days late and I'm starting to worry incase there's something wrong with me and with me and DH being so set on ttc I feel like I'm letting him down!

OP posts:
Nmew · 22/12/2019 00:32

I totally understand, it’s such a lot of pressure we put on ourselves. I feel like we have all these expectations and have just never really been shown a realistic view on how hard ttc can be when all we see is bfp and get told from a young age how easy it is and how careful we need to be. And just really wanting a family on top of that just makes it super tough!
