Anyone looking to start TTC in New Year?

Join here please! I’m still taking my pill at the moment but current packet runs out on 7th Jan so planning to start then but not really track anything officially. I’ve been reading up about conception vitamins and going to buy some this week to start taking after new year- does anyone have recommendations for particular brands?
Will be my first but partners 2nd, very nervous but excited at the same time. No idea what to expect but hoping to have some ladies in the same situation to chat to!

@JaffaCakeGal I have very short periods, so maybe you're just lucky too!! Mine started Friday night and was basically over by Sunday. I just count it as luck, I had a bit of a read around it and it shouldn't affect TTC

Hi everyone, been a manic few days so only just catching up, good luck to everyone on their TWW and awaiting the mysterious AF 🙈

I'm preparing myself to not be successful this month.
I had horrible nausea on the day I actually ovulated, we DTD the day before so hoping that may be enough, but I've since got tonsillitis and work stress has gone through the roof, so not expecting my body to co-operate much 😔
Due on the 18th, quite in the 21st club!
We will just have to see what happens

I've had zero signs or symptoms of implantation or anything. On Friday I should be 11dpo if I did ovulate so I may be tempted then too.

I finally got a positive OPK on cycle day 25. Wish me luck!

So I’m 10dpo and took this clear blue, it was I thought negative but went back about an hour later and found this?

don’t know if it’s just an evap line? don’t want to get my hopes up! my boobs are sore underneath. But no other symptoms!

I can definitely see it @rachTTC ! Fingers crossed for you! I've been stung on blue dye evaps before, maybe try tomorrow morning and see if it's gets stronger

Also sore boobs were my only sign when pregnant with DS!

@rachTTC I see it, was it not there at all within 10 mins then? Did you wait the full 10 mins. Only thing to do is wait a day or even better two and test again. Fingers crossed!! 🥰

I ordered my first batch of OPKs today, wasn't planning on using them but would like to get a rough idea of when I ovulate this cycle and then go from there. My cycles aren't completely regular so I figured it might help.

hoping I can get some advice on the clearblue advanced ovulation test. How long did you “high fertility” the flashing smiley face last? Just curious as to when it will turn static.

Ok so I couldn’t wait! came up within 3 mins! It’s very faint! Am I being silly?

@rachTTC I was worried about the first test as they usually say to disregard any results that come up out of the time window. But if the second one was a FRER and came up in the 3 mins then it's looking hopeful. There is definately a very faint line there. I have no idea on the whole evap lines though, but yours is there and pink.

Have you got another FRER? Could you do a test this morning with FMU? I would like to recommend to wait til tomorrow but I know I definately wouldn't. Good luck to you. Very exciting x

@rachTTC I bet if you did the FRER with very first morning urine. But a line is a line!!

So did another frer this morning and again another line! Also took a cb digital but come back negative but took it apart and it had this!

@RachTTC the FRER looks good, the digitals are less sensitive but always have two lines when you take them apart I believe (I'm sure I've read that somewhere whilst reading these boards!)

However a positive on a FRER is a positive so that's amazing news! Are you late yet?

How fast does this thread move?! I came off the pill on the 1st December. Still no AF or withdrawal?? Tested last Tuesday and Saturday both BFN. I’m far too impatient to wait for my first AF after coming off cerazette.
Anyone got any advice??
