Being unrealistic with myself

Wondering if anyone else experienced this... I am already setting unrealistic expectations for myself. I had my coil out 2 weeks ago, had sex maybe twice since and for some reason am disappointed I am not pregnant ... any tips on how to not do this to myself??

Okay currently 8DPO I think. However strangely I've had a really heavy bleed and loads of cramping, but AF isn't due for like another week

@27andcounting Could that have been implantation?
I’m having a bit of cramping today (period due in a few days) and bit emotional so I think AF on her way and I’m out this month!

@ScaredFlamingo I wish.... seems like I just coming on really early this month! So will try again in December! Hopefully I can really pinpoint my ovulation this time! Trying to use OPKs but didn't get a bold line last month just a couple of really faint ones. Least it means I can have a drink on my holiday!!

I’ve had bad nausea today (13 dpo)... holding out testing...! Keep convincing myself I’m out and then something happens

@27andcounting I hate the not knowing if it’s just unwell, a mean period or growing a tiny human!! I think if AF comes I’ll be sad but if she doesn’t and I get BFP then the freak out will begin! Either way... I’m gonna be emotional haha!

Really bad nausea today. Had to leave work; dizzy and sick. 14 dpo 1-2 days before period... tested at 2:30pm... BFN

@ScaredFlamingo give it time, if you implanted late then there may not be enough HCG to be picked up on a test yet. Fingers crossed

@27andcounting Went to Drs yesterday because of nausea (if not preg then something wrong!) and she sent me for blood tests as thinks I might be pregnant. AF due yesterday and didn’t arrive.. if nothing today then I’m officially late.

How you getting on?

Touched my phone. AF decide to come with a vengeance.... but new cycle and trying now.... as it came early though unsure when to start testing with OPKs.

Came back negative and then AF came.. although an extremely light version of her! New cycle and new start :)

Hi @27andcounting I'm still here! Ovulating this week, positive OPK and DTD every other day... come on BFP! I'm feeling good this month! Trying to remain positive. How are you? Anything to report?

I have to have a polyp removed so I’m out this month; hopefully back to full baby making ability in the new year!

@goodforbrian good to know! Fingers crossed for you this month! I've read up on the SMEP method which some of my friends recommended and I've seen come up on here a few times.

@ScaredFlamingo I hope all goes well with the removal this month but what a month to take your mind off of TTC! December notoriously flies by and you will be back baby-making in no time! 👍🏽

I've just come into my 2WW going to really try holding off texting until AF is due

@27andcounting I am also on my TWW and want to hold off testing until AF is due. AF is due on the 18th Dec! 10 loooooong days to fret haha. I feel ok atm, trying not to symptom spot as far too soon! How are you getting on? When are you due? x

@goodforbrian Yes! It might be in Jan so waiting until February but hoping I get so used to not thinking about it that I don’t fret come February’s TWW haha!

@ScaredFlamingo haha I know exactly what you mean! Enjoy the time away from TTC and enjoy life without the 'what-ifs' and manic symptom spotting! And if you are anything like me, think of all the money you will save on pregnancy tests lol x

@goodforbrian well I'm a little unsure when I'm due as AF came a week early last month. And I did a OPK the other day and though I got a pretty clear positive so that would make me 1 or 2
Days DPO so bit of a wait and see, I'll test at the end of the 2 weeks but continue trying just in case. Nightmare not fully understanding my body this month.

@ScaredFlamingo enjoy this time and like you say hopefully get into the habit of not over thinking it so when you back trying you can take it as it comes (well as much as any of us can)

Hey ladies. Just a little update from me. I came on AF yesterday, so no pregnancy for me this year. I feel surprisingly ok though. I did a PT a couple of days before I was due and it obviously came back negative so I kind of knew then I was out this month.
Ovulating again next week so going to get back down to business! 2020 will be my year! So much to look forward too, bring it on! Wishing and sending you all lots of baby dust and positive tests in December xx

@goodforbrian Shame but now you can have a nice drink over Xmas and relax a bit! I’m having a fibroid out at end of Jan so I’m out until after that!
