I thought I'd start a new thread as the other one is full. Sorry if I've missed anyone out.

@KatBeCool - good luck for tomorrow!! All my fingers crossed this is your cycle xx Flowers
Scan went fine, she couldn't see much happening on there bar a few teeny cysts on the left ovary, but waiting for results back soon. 8dpo due Wednesday, did some fertility-boosting yoga positions today, although not sure when's best in the cycle to do this for maximum effect!

KatBeCool · 30/06/2020 00:25

More bad news for me... The one giant follicle may or may not have ovulated, it was inconclusive. It didn't rupture, but it is smaller just by 2 mm, the edge is jagged, and has a white ring around it, plus there is liquid behind uterus, all that indicates possible ovulation. Other follicles got larger than before but exhibited no signs of ovulation. So I need a miracle.

starkid · 30/06/2020 09:08

Wow, I'm not well-versed in the science of follicles at all, but I have every finger and toe crossed for you!!

KatBeCool · 30/06/2020 12:06

@starkid yeah I didn't think there could be such thing as "maybe ovulated". But the specialist pointed out all those things I mentioned and said "If you ask for my honest opinion, I think you ovulated".
I did some internet digging, it's also not entirely uncommon to ovulate twice, which is how they explain getting pregnant while on birth control, or having fraternal twins that are days apart in development in the womb. That is a bit beyond my comprehension as I thought progesterone prevented ovulation.

ValidUser · 15/07/2020 20:55

Haven't seen you all in ages. I got busy and sad after our ivf cycle was cancelled due to Covid. I'm sorry for losing touch.

Just got a BFP after 2 early blastocysts were transferred on Saturday.

I love you all!

KatBeCool · 16/07/2020 03:48

@ValidUser that's great! Congratulations! I'm on my journey to start ivf soon as well. I could use a bfp...

starkid · 16/07/2020 08:38

@ValidUser - wow congratulations!! :D :D That's such great news

I'm up to the NHS eligibility check part of the IVF journey, but they said there's a backlog even for those appointments so who knows how long the queue will be for my first consultation at the clinic, next year?!

ValidUser · 16/07/2020 11:21

Thanks @starkid and @KatBeCool. The waiting is a bitch!

FlapJackered · 17/07/2020 12:50

@ValidUser congratulations! 🎉 that is fantastic news!! X

ValidUser · 18/07/2020 12:23

@flapjackered how are you doing? x

FlapJackered · 20/07/2020 09:02

@ValidUser I am good thanks! You must be over the moon! It is so lovely seeing more bfps on this thread x

ValidUser · 20/07/2020 14:37

As I've spent 2 years spamming the place with squinters:

(Squinters real and imagined, might I add)

Annny27 · 20/07/2020 18:02

@ValidUser yayyy I am so chuffed for you :D

ValidUser · 20/07/2020 18:12

@Annny27 you used only have 2 n letters? I remember you!

Annny27 · 20/07/2020 18:17

Yes! Dont know why i added the extra n 🙈 @ValidUser

Delighted for you anyway! Gives us long dinosaurs the hope that we need :D

Annny27 · 20/07/2020 18:31

KatBeCool · 20/07/2020 19:22

@ValidUser that's one visible line! One thing I learned although it was just a chemical pregnancy for me, you don't need to squint at the results, it's obvious.

I'm just sitting here waiting, need to make sure that the gynecologist will actually do all the tests that the Mexico clinic requires (and there's a lot). If all goes to plan, in 1.5 months (or so) I'll be at the beach hotel jamming needles in my stomach.

starkid · 20/07/2020 20:23

@katbecool - your doing the IVF in Mexico? Oh cool!
@ValidUser - yeah those lines couldn't be clearer, another congrats to you :D

I haven't managed to get a postive opk this cycle, so hopefully I did ovulate and dtd at the right times Confused annoying as now I have no clue when to expect AF, urgh

ValidUser · 20/07/2020 20:32

@starkid and @KatBeCool I just got a 2-3 weeks on a digital at exactly 14 days after egg collection! Pleased.

KatBeCool · 20/07/2020 20:41

@ValidUser, how many embryos did they put in? Normally digital tests are a bit behind, so you either got super hcg or... more than one baby.

@starkid yep. If I'm going to spend two weeks abroad, while still working, there's better be a beach! I had to get a mammogram today (one of the requirements for the ivf clinic), my poor boobs, it hurts more after than it did during all the squishing.

ValidUser · 20/07/2020 20:50

@KatBeCool 2. Wasn't sure they'd be able to freeze either, so I asked them to pop em both in!

KatBeCool · 20/07/2020 20:53

@ValidUser Aha! Telling you... there's likely more than one growing.

ValidUser · 20/07/2020 20:55

@KatBeCool my husband is convinced of it too! I didn't know digitals were a bit behind, that's interesting.
