CD1 - This is our month!

Hi All,

So after the very disappointing arrival of AF this morning I am now on CD1.

I'm 34 (35 next month) and TTC #1. I have PCOS and have been referred to FC which I will be attending soon. However, I really want to fall naturally before I have to go through all of the tests etc.

Last month we tried SMEP (however we didn't manage to follow it to the letter). This month we will be doing it again (properly).

Due to O CD18 of a 32 day cycle and AF due 13th October. I won't be testing before then as I've tested early every month with FRER and the cost and disappointment of seeing repeated BFNs is not worth it.

If anyone is at the beginning of their cycle and wants some company over the next few weeks then feel free to join! Wishing everyone the best of luck x

@Happythoughts123 I had EWCM 2 days after ovulation last month and o was definitely confirmed with risen temperature etc on 3dpo. It did make me panic as I was using ic OPKs and didn't quite trust them. I think sometimes you get random cm when you wouldn't expect it. Don't lose hope yet cycle buddy! 🙌🌟🍀

How are you all getting along? AF hasn't arrived for me yet, got incredibly sore boobs 😣 its my usual pms but this month they came a bit later and haven't eased yet so I have a feeling she's going to be late! As they usually ease off a few days before. I still think I'm out so refusing to test 😂 avoiding disappointment lol!!

What CD are you all on? I think I'm ahead of you girls slightly! X

Hi @Izzie94 I’m cd 24 today. App is predicting AF in 9 days but think that’s because I ovulated late.

Oh bless you with your sore boobs - it’s so hard not to symptom spot isn’t it. I just can’t help it! I had a sore throat this morning...Googled it....and it said early pregnancy sign 😂😂 I think they say pretty much anything is an early pregnancy sign though!

Hahahaha tell me about it!! Although cold like symptoms apparently can be, but I'm the same any twinge in my head I'm like "can it be???" Google always says yes but here I am 6 months later 😂 I'm always so calm the first of the TWW, then the second week approaches and I'm thinking more 🤣 x

I'm now on CD30 AF officially 2 days late for me, but I've checked over my dates and when I first came off my pill I had my longest ever at 32, so still think I'm out. Got the sorest boobs and did get a test for the morning just in case 😪 x

@Happythoughts123 Morning lovely. Still no AF for me, longest cycle ever. I did a clear blue digi yesterday and it was a clear "not pregnant" although it wasn't with FMU, but surely it would be showing on their now as I'm late!! Tempted to get a FR or something and try again but also don't want the disappointment 😂 boobs are still pretty tender and I've had lower back ache which isn't usual for me, but I think it was pre contraceptive 🙄

Ahhhh not long now 🙊 it's so hard not to isn't it!? I say I won't and by the second week everything I notice I'm like... Pregnant 👀 haha!! Hope it's your month 💜

AF got me girls, worst pains then she appeared! Onto cycle 7 for me.. Lucky 7 maybe lol. CD1 sucks, but I've got a birthday party tomorrow SO not all bad, a bottle of wine for me. Keep us posted @Happythoughts123 cheering you on now 🙊 x

I’ve got a feeling AF is coming for me too soon - but thank you for cheering me on! No cramps yet but cm is now getting darker so think she’s on her way.

AF showed up this morning 😢 now officially cd1 again and hoping this is our month.

@Happythoughts123 aw hun, its the worst isn't it 😪 CD1 sucks, but we've got eachother ey!! Look after yourself the next few days ❤️ I just wish I wasn't so naive thinking I'd fall straight away!! So many of my friends have had "accidents" or just 6 weeks off their pill.. Uhhh! Can't help but think there's something wrong with me but I'm probs being dramatic - hormonal 🤣

I know what you mean about feeling naive. My sister fell straight away with all three of hers. I’m trying to hold onto the statistics that 84% get pregnant within a year. ❤️

I've got a doctors apt Friday as my AF was again only a day or so, so light.. Can't help but think it's causing a problem! Not sure they'll do much as I'm not a year post pill yet.. But we'll see. Hopefully get some reassurance at least 😊 x

And yes @Happythoughts123 both my sisters fell within the first 2 months, and they have 5 between them 😪 trying not to worry too much for now, hard not to though isn't it!? Lol!! Definitely keep in touch throughout the cycle ❤️

@Izzie94 hope it goes well at the Drs for you, its so frustrating that they have the arbitrary waiting time of a year isn't it?
I am confused... Im CD13 now, and had a temp drop yesterday and Today. Still above coverline but definitely heading downwards, as it usually does before af shows. I have nausea, headaches, backache and veiney boobs so I was sure we had done it this month. Due af Tomorrow so the temp in the AM will tell me either way. Not v hopeful now though after this morning. So crazy that its possible to feel like this and not be pregnant!

Hope it doesn't drop anymore for you 🤞 are they usual AF symptoms for you? I say I won't but I symptom spot every month and I swear my pms symptoms like to change to get my hopes up 😪 wishing I was one of the lucky ones who catch straight away! Hoping AF stays away for you, keep us posted 😘 X

@Izzie94 good luck at the doctors Friday. Will be thinking of you. I’ve just had blood test today to check for ovulation. Fingers crossed. You’re so right it’s so slow! I’m CD4 now so looking forward to ovulation week 😉

I honestly feel like since I’ve been trying I have so many weird AF symptoms that I never used to have!

@Izzie94 @Happythoughts123 That's the thing, I usually only get huge boobs for a few days leading up to AF, and a bit of bloating but I don't get any cramps or headaches or anything. I promised myself I wouldnt symptom spot and would chill out this month but I have been worse than ever. I bet it's my mind playing tricks on me, so unfair! I have spent the morning sneakily looking at FF chart galleries of BFPs with late temp dips. There are quite a few actually but I know I am clutching at straws!

@SMiles14 thinking of you this morning. Let us know how temp goes. It’s so hard not to symptom spot. Ttc has really made me not trust my body as I honestly get false pregnancy symptoms each month!
