CD1 - This is our month!

Hi All,

So after the very disappointing arrival of AF this morning I am now on CD1.

I'm 34 (35 next month) and TTC #1. I have PCOS and have been referred to FC which I will be attending soon. However, I really want to fall naturally before I have to go through all of the tests etc.

Last month we tried SMEP (however we didn't manage to follow it to the letter). This month we will be doing it again (properly).

Due to O CD18 of a 32 day cycle and AF due 13th October. I won't be testing before then as I've tested early every month with FRER and the cost and disappointment of seeing repeated BFNs is not worth it.

If anyone is at the beginning of their cycle and wants some company over the next few weeks then feel free to join! Wishing everyone the best of luck x

I had my 3rd flashing smiley this morning, CD16 for me today, due to O in Sunday so hoping for a static tomorrow 🤞🏼 x

I think I'm ovulating a lot sooner than my app is telling me. Did a cheapie last night and it wasn't quite positive.
Hubby pissed me off though so didn't dtd in the end 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻 Men!!!

@Happythoughts123 I got my first flashing smiley this morning too! Much earlier than I was expecting - cd11 for me 😊 it's so exciting haha. Now to wait for the static.. how many flashing smileys do you normally get?
I'm really loving the fact you just poas in the morning then get on with your day instead of sitting at work all afternoon holding it in!! 😂

How is everyone getting on? I got my 4th flashing smily this morning - not sure what to think just waiting for the static and trying to dtd every other day!

@Happythoughts123 I am in exactly the same position!! 4 days of flashing smileys Today. I looked at the stick when I ejected it and the second line is getting darker each day so I'm hopeful I will get a static in the next couple of days. I have noticed more EWCM too. I do get freaked out that I wont get a static sometimes but it's still early to be worrying about that. I don't usually O until CD 18 - 20 and on CD 15 now so there's still time. bding EOD anyway since CD10.

Well AF is here, so I’m out for this cycle. Baby dust all x

I got my static smiley this morning after 5 days of flashing 😀 it's CD19 for me today. DTD CD16 & CD17 and will again tonight and tomorrow 🤞🏼

Dtd enough I think, only did it once the cycle I got BFP with DS .

I'm trying to take no notice of symptoms this cycle. Very hard though, need a distraction 🙄

@Sardi28 you’re not out until AF shows up! I know what you mean about symptom spotting. I honestly feel like I’m pregnant every month.

I've got my peak! Yaaay! So we're doing SMEP so will be dtd for the next 3 nights. Glad I didn't give in to dh last night otherwise it would have been 5 on the trot!!

Spa day for me and DH , nice rest and relaxation to take our minds off ovulation and CM😂😂😂😂

Hey guys, so I'm a bit worried as I don't seem to have any noticeable change in my CM throughout the month. I don't think I've ever noticed EWCM! Do you all have a noticeable difference thought your cycle and when you're ovulating? I don't know whether to be concerned and if this is a factor in why I'm not getting pg?

@AdalbertWaffling I used to be like that - I would stop getting creamy for FW but I never got EWCM until I started taking evening primrose oil. You take it only up until ovulation but it's made a massive difference to me. I still only get it for one day, about 2 days before I would get a peak OPK then it goes watery.
Have a google about supplements etc to help it along a little

I just did a Frer with the biggest fattest negative I've ever seen. 🙈

@Sardi28 it’s still early for you don’t give up hope just yet. I’m only a couple days post ovulation and I’m already having to stop myself from symptom spotting. The tww is hard. ❤️

So sorry I've been really quiet. Had a really busy month and just feel out this month and I don't know why 😩 AF due on Tuesday for me, and refuse to test until after she's due.

@adalbertWaffling I've been the same since coming off contraceptive, I never really notice any changes to my cm (I don't check internally though) I sometimes notice watery, then straight to creamy, never noticed EWCM since coming off my pill in March!! But I have invested in some evening primrose oil which lots of ladies on here recommend up to ovulation 😊 I'm also thinking about Vit B complex, it's thought to help your ovaries in releasing an egg and ensuring you maintain good levels of progesterone to help you stay pregnant once you conceive. So taking both from my next cycle 😊

How does evening primrose oil help?

I’ve been taking my folic acid and I’ll take iron after AF.

I’ve heard about CQ10.

I feel like I’m out already this month. Test said i ovulated Monday but I’m still getting ewcm now so perhaps had Lh surge but didn’t quite ovulate.

@Yutes it's meant to help increase cm during your fertile window, some ladies notice is more than others but I'm convinced it's why Im not getting my bfp! Folic acid is perf, so unless you don't see any cm, EPO might not be one for you 😊

@Happythoughts123 aw, hope you're OK hun ❤️ I feel you. I don't track ovulation but going to start from next month as I really don't feel like I have any symptoms of ovulating (apart from watery cm) so I'm not sure it's even happening!! 😅 First few months off the pill I definitely had twinges, but it's settled now. Our body's are so complex!! 😂 When's AF due for you? Sending lots and lots of baby dust x

Well I ‘ovulated’ according to Chen digital test on Monday Cd18 so app is predicting period on the 15th - so 2 weeks after, but that would mean a 32 day cycle so not sure really.

Has anyone else still continued to have ewcm after ovulation?
