Anyone get a BFP after BFN

I'm approx 9dpo and have been having lots of twinges and pinching on my right side, been very very tired so decided to test today and got a BFN.....

Anyone had this and then gone on to get BFP? Or am I out this month?

Sorry been trying for 9 months and getting restless 🙄

@Trying93 I can imagine my love. Do you think you'll speak to the GP if you're not getting the result? Could be worth asking if it's been 12 months, just to be sure? So yes tomorrow you'll officially be late. Maybe a test if its not here in the morn? Just in case? I'm CD23, but pretty certain I ovulated early either way, waiting for Sat to test 😬 if AF does come I'm certain it would be Sunday. So Sat seems a good day to me!

Probably not been trying about 18 months but been pregnant once and me and DH work shifts so getting the right days can be a nightmare.

When I had my miscarriage they scanned my ovaries, fallopian tubes, womb, etc and said everything looks as it should which is a relief.

I'm goin to try hold off to tuesday and see because I think it's on it's way.

Sorry ladies I'm back 🙄 my AF started and was really heavy in the morning, I had to change my tampon three/four times within a few hours then nothing....it's lasted about a day and then stopped... Not had any cramps or normal period pains, just few twinges and backache.. So baffled 😂😂

Took another test and bfn so definitely not pregnant... Anyone else had this?!

@Cabbiefix was just thinking about you. How bizarre! Hmm literally nothing since? May not have been AF then? I'm not so sure on this one tbh, but if you're still not bleeding in two days I'd be inclined to test again 😬🤞🏻

@Cabbiefix it really is. But I just think if no AF just yet don't be too down, just give it two days and retest 🤞🏻 Back has been all better since Saturday. Hurrah! Waves of nausea are pushing me over the edge though. Lots of twinges too so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Cabbiefix I did have a period like that but it was after my mc. It started and then stopped but a week later I spotted for about 10 days before AF came along again.

I've had a real rubbish day today. Tired from a busy weekend so I'm blaming the tiredness - it's the best excuse for a crap day isn't it?
I went to see my bestie and her newborn baby boy and was fine while I was there but came home and cried! And have been teary all evening.
I hope tomorrow is a better day xx

I think sometimes when you wake up and you know you're in for a crap day just let it happen and have a day feeling a bit down, holding it in doesn't do you any favours. I do hope tomorrow is a bit better for you tho 🥰

So sorry, my phone died a few days ago and has only just been fixed and returned to me! I'm still in limbo as there's still no sign of a period yet (was due on Saturday according to my app) but have done two first response tests since then and both negative... given how sensitive those tests are I'm inclined to think that period is just taking its sweet time! (I've got a commiseration G&T lined up already!) 😂😂 best of luck to those still waiting to find out this month xx

@mummabubs thank you and hoping you get a BFP soon - or AF, as it's frustrating not knowing either way isn't it. So you're two days late at the moment? Do you feel like it's coming on?

Yep BFN at 11DPO got a BFP squinter today at 14DPO I dunno if its because I drink so much water and tea during the day which might dilute the hormone even the next morning! However I get the impression most people don't get their first squinter until 14-17DPO and I think most of these tests have a really low chance of working until you've actually missed a period anyway, its nice if you get to find out early, but seriously its just waaaay too early to count yourself out. fingers crossed x

Aww, just caught up with things on here, sorry to those who got AF too.

@PrinnyPree that's definitely so true from what I've seen on here. Lots are getting those BFPs even up to a week after a missed AF! Will you retest again? Probably re the fluids - and I think everybody is so different as well, some will have lots of detectable hcg and others not so much, so always difficult. It's why I'm holding off testing 🤞🏻

I tested this morning BFN so seems my period is just late this month. Will test in a few days if it's still not showed up.

You're still in the game chick if no AF. What dpo are you again (sorry, so many to keep track of). I'm cramping lightly, a little nausea but nothing a slice of toast can't settle! How are you feeling chick?

@Gigi318 14 days since lh surge so prob 13dpo. Will just need to wait and see what happens.

Nausea is a good sign 🤞 I feel normal, most of the time I dont have any signs my period is coming so just a waiting game now

@Trying93 I'm hoping so - either that or I'm going insane. We shall see on Saturday! Or if AF turns up. Not bad that you don't have symptoms - as long as AF stays away you're still in the game!!! Woohoo!

I'm out for this month, AF just arrived 4 days late. To be honest although I'm a little gutted I'm just glad to know either way! Good luck to those still in the running for this month. 😊

@mummabubs sorry to hear that chick, but I like you're feeling. The dreaded TWW is over and you're still in the overall game. AF is here and that's a sign that a new healthy cycle is starting. Relax a little while she's here and then get yourself excited for OD and all the DTD woohoo. You've got this!

@Gigi318 @Trying93 thanks guys did another test (sainsburys own brand) this morning and much darker, no squinting, so I'm calling the doctors. (Just hope this one sticks as last one wasn't a sticky bean and I lost it the next day) Good luck everyone xxx
