Anyone get a BFP after BFN

I'm approx 9dpo and have been having lots of twinges and pinching on my right side, been very very tired so decided to test today and got a BFN.....

Anyone had this and then gone on to get BFP? Or am I out this month?

Sorry been trying for 9 months and getting restless 🙄

@Gigi318 My nhs consultant booked me in for it as I've had 3 consecutive mc's so it's to check the health and shape of my uterus. I was told by a private consultant that it's only ever done after 5 but I don't want to keep ttc and miscarrying if it is to do with a issue with my uterus. At the same time they told me to not waste the months that run up to the hysteroscopy but just to ensure there is no chance I'm pregnant when it's done as that would then cause a mc. G&T and chocs tonight I think!

@HoldingOn2Hope ahh, that's very good of them. I just wondered if it might be to do with endometriosis. That's definitely right. I agree babe, enjoy yourself. @Gigi318 I had a laparoscopy to check for endo. I think they do a hysteroscopy to check for a heart shaped uterus as that can be cause of mc. I have a scan next week for that too next week so if there's no issue I may not have to have it. But let's see it's so easy for sons to just get pregnant. I will soldier on!

@HoldingOn2Hope that's the one! I may have to have it. I was offered it at 27 when they tentatively diagnosed me (but obvs can't be confirmed without the op). But my specialist also said that it could be better to wait until TTC as it can cause scaring etc. And so, I'm waiting to see if I can C naturally without it. We shall see. Oh absolutely. It's definitely useful to know what's going on in there. I also think I have a tilted uterus but I don't think that will be an issue! Hope you get some answers soon!

@Gigi318 I'm hoping that if the scan is fine I may not need it doing as I'm petrified anyway! Hate all this prodding and poking! I have made an appt with the famous Dr S as if my consultant is off long term I don't want to look back and wish if for private. I'm 37 so time is not on my side :(

@Gigi318 @HoldingOn2Hope iv no idea if iv ovulated, am goin to or if iv missed it. Still dtd just incase.

@holdingon2hope hopefully you will get answers when you go for it. Gutted you and @Cabbiefix are out this month

Thanks @Trying93 it's been a year since our second missed miscarriage, next month will be a year of trying again... The consultants told us to come back if still nothing by then. So frustrating 😭

But onwards and upwards! Am keeping my fingers crossed for everyone else this month 🤞❤️

@HoldingOn2Hope don't worry, chick - I read it as some. That's a good idea chick, your health is so important and it's always a good idea to invest in it. I hope you get some answers soon chick. It's horrible not knowing 😘

@Cabbiefix oh absolutely. I cried on the loo at 1am when AF came. I was okay in a day or two though, then bored waiting to DTD again 🙈 it's never ending!!!

@Cabbiefix I know exactly how that feels, it's been 14 months since my 1st mc and I've had another 2 since :( I thought a year on I'd be holding my rainbow or at least pregnant...I get frustrated with Dr's too but I guess they are only doing what they can. I have to keep reminding myself that they can't just wave a magic wand or make things happen.
We have to keep moving forward and hang on to every bit of hope. I felt really angry this morning, shouted at a customer advisor on the telephone and felt absolutely awful afterwards. It's awful how ttc can really mess with emotions! Tomorrow is a new day 🙏🏽

Thanks @HoldingOn2Hope i am so sorry for your losses... it really is just the worst feeling, I'm desperate to be pregnant again but also terrified it will happen a third time... so i cant imagine how you've been feeling we have to keep thinking all of this will be worth it in the end, i really do believe that...

Today has been a bit of a bad day, can feel AF coming but not actually arrived yet... had a bit of crying on and off but trying to give my head a wobble haha

I can assure you that most of us have. Some even get BFN day after period is due. It’s all based on when implantation takes place. As it’s ftom this day HCG is beginning. Yet we can’t tell when that day is, and so until enough HCG is present BFN all round. Also different pregnancies have diff amounts of hcg levels.

I'm 5DPO today and not much to report! Woke with a tiny bit of cramping but nothing big. 10 days to go 🙌🏻

@Gigi318 iv had period type cramps on and off the last 4 days and had a really sore lower back yesterday. All away this morning tho. Pretty sure AF is going to turn up early

@Trying93 oh no!!! What DPO are you again? I hope not. Mine were really mild this morning and nothing since. So glad to have a chilled day ahead 🙌🏻

@gigi318 I dont know tbh not sure if I missed it or didnt ovulate this month. AF due thurs-sun so only a week to go.

AF appeared yday so I'm defo out this month and for the next 2 due to hospital appts 🙄 I feel better knowing exactly where I'm at but disappointed that I won't be having a bfp this year anyway. Will keep checking in on here anyway.
@Gigi318 yayyy not long to go! Fingers crossed it's a BFP :))) @Trying93 I hope AF keeps well away and you also get your bfp this month!

I don't know what to think at the minute.... AF still not shown up yet so just did a test and got a bfn.... I'm 3days late. Just had a little cry and feeling sorry for myself now 😭🤞
