October bus

Haven't seen an October bus yet so I figured I'd start one as AF showed up today for me.

TTC 1
Cycle 3
Age 31
AF due around 5 October

7 October is my birthday so would not be opposed to a bit of a present in the form of a BFP 😄

Not sure yet if I'll do anything special this cycle other than taking follic acid and DTD, contemplating buying Clear Blue OPKs though I'm hoping to stay as relaxed as possible (completely failed at that last cycle and obsessed about everything so hopefully I got that out of my system...)

@Raizelrea my AF is due 7th Oct, I'm currently on CD14 but haven't got my positive opk yet, I usually get a positive anywhere between cd14-cd18 so any day now.
I'm always grateful the tww has started so can have a rest ha ha

@Sunflower2019 I'm currently trying SMEP this month for the first time.
It's allot for us as we only usually get to dtd about 3-4 times but the SMEP its about 8-9 times and can work out to be 4 nights in a row after positive opk.

I'm a member of ttc groups on Facebook and the amount of women that dtd every day throughout the month, some 2-3 times a day I just don't know how they do it lol

Grateful for the group though, hoping to see loads of BFPs xxx

@Sunflower2019 Our fertile window is the same time also due to ovulate on 7th !

I'm officially in the TWW now... Not sure I have high hopes this month to be honest! We DTD at the right times I think, but I got peak just as we returned from an evening in the pub so pretty dubious about the sperm quality haha. Also having an onset of cystitis which can't be great either.

@HayleyD84 Ah yes I didn't ovulate till CD 18 this month either, never tracked before so wonder if that's normal for me. Heard good things about SMEP! Hopefully we can keep each other sane in TWW - I'm 1DPO and already kind of stirr crazy...

Just has my first positive OPK on CD19, much later than I thought considering I'm a regular 28/29 day cycle!
Been DTD regularly anyway, haven't actually done an OPK for a few days as I gave up

Hope everyone is resisting the urge to test...

Coming over from Sept bus as AF showed up yesterday 🙈

Can I ask when is best to test ovulation? As in how many days after AF.. this is all new to me 😂 thanks!

@coley17 I usually start testing with opks cycle day 10 - ovulation for me is usually between CD15-17 - and I can get through lots of cheapies, I’m a bit scared of missing it!

Just finished SMEP for the month. Wow it's intense.

Thinking of everyone in the TWW! I'm 4dpo now and can't believe how quickly this month is going. Am sure time always slows down for the 2ww though :/

@HayleyD84 got mine at cd15, that's only because I'm on Clomid which induces ovulation !

Hi AF due 3rd October and the ttw is driving me mad I promised myself I wouldn’t symptom spot but I just can’t help it.

@SSC92 I’m the same fighting the urge to do a test as I know it’s to soon but yet still feeling the need to test 🙈

@MrsFbn im due on the 4th October. My husband calls this the schrodinger time as currently i am both pregnant and not pregnant until i do a test

@Bstansfield I’m between 4-6dpo but your right the 3rd seems a long time away really hoped my busy schedule would take my mind off it but yet everywhere I go is babies!

@Mrsfbn @Bstansfield im trying to not symptom spot and also trying to remember what symptoms i had last time (ttc#2)

Next Thursday does seem ages away but I work fulltime and have a busy weekend to hopefully keep me distracted.... and a full on toddler

@MrsFbn my sister is about to pop out her second so every time I talk to her I'm reminded eee that might be me in 9 months!
@AndddddHerewegoagain I'm exactly the same 😂 tend to think about it most when in the toilets at work or in the evening when lo has gone to bed!

10DPO and I tested with FRER (waste of money...I know)
So I shined a camera flash at the back and I see a shadow line next to the control line...oh dear I've gone crazy

@SSC92 Haha it's not even October yet! Maybe take another one on Saturday? Only a couple more days and should be clear enough by then!

@SSC92 loving the idea of getting the husband to do all the housework! Also fingers crossed in a couple more days it’ll be a clear BFP for you! I’m having a daily battle with myself wether to test early or wait until AF due figured if I didn’t buy the test I wouldn’t be as tempted 😂
