October bus

Haven't seen an October bus yet so I figured I'd start one as AF showed up today for me.

Cycle 3
Age 31
AF due around 5 October

7 October is my birthday so would not be opposed to a bit of a present in the form of a BFP 😄

Not sure yet if I'll do anything special this cycle other than taking follic acid and DTD, contemplating buying Clear Blue OPKs though I'm hoping to stay as relaxed as possible (completely failed at that last cycle and obsessed about everything so hopefully I got that out of my system...)

@Rinoa haha fingers crossed! I think I have researched all I can and everything tells me its too early for symptoms before BFP

But still....! This month could be it!

@SSC92 oh we're very close cycle buddies ! Is AF due 30th for you? Supposed to be for me according to my app although it's never regular. But according to my doc as I took Clomid this cycle should be regular !

AF due on the 1st for me! I think we can test with FRER around 26th right?

@SSC92 I think yes some people test from 12DPO but I'm gonna try to wait until 30th! she says holding 50x cheap opks and 2 digita*l 😂

@Lexington86 so sorry to hear of your struggles, I also had a mmc at 12 weeks with a D&C in July and have ben trying since. I can imagine how the lack of periods for 3 months after would mess with your head and totally sympathise with the feeling of wasting time. We are also v close cycle buddies, I'm on CD6 with af due on 16th October! Hopefully we can help get each other through to our BFPS!

@Rinoa haha!! I went on the FRER site to calculate how early I could test...but ofc they'd just want us to test earlier on to buy more of their product eh....
Yikes I really want to test 11DPO as I am going away for the weekend and don't want to test without husband around....clearly not getting hopes up

@SMiles14 Yep google did not help with any kind of timeliness and it just came down to stop stressing and body naturally healing. It was just annoying that I had 12 weeks of worrying something was wrong lol
My last cycle just there was 28 days bang in which is what I usually am without fail no idea what happened last two months with funny cycles. But I do think the folic acid and eating well has helped. I've also noticed now maybe it's an age thing but I get much more noticeable symptoms in the week drumming up to AF sore achy boobs tons of spots back ache (all much like being preggers) but AF arrives and I'm like ahhhh that's why. Do you use an app? Last cycle is my first cycle of really trying to relax about it all ... despite hearing and seeing it everywhere!!! So are your cycles back to normal now? How long have you been trying? Xx

Aah it's so hard isn't it not to get stressed! Especially after a mc. It sounds like you have done really well to get healthy and relax. We have been ttc since April, fell first month (this was the mmc). Cycles went back to normal pretty quickly actually, had a bit of a longer one straight after but last month was 30 days again. I just want to be pg again so bad and each failed cycle feels like more wasted time! I need to take a lead out of your book and just believe it will happen when it happens. Xx

@SMiles14 Been there mate, I was literally living month to month hoping watching waiting symptom spotting testing every chance I could. It just made me a complete crazy lady! And you notice more and more all the babies around, on tv, on Fb, it's like the last thing you want to hear or see 😂
I'm sorry you are going through that weird time just now but defo relax it does make it all a bit easier it'll happen when it happens - it's taken me 16 months to be this way it's easier for some than others. I think I've read every Mumsnet convo on everything over that time lol. We were going to get ovu sticks this month but I don't want to get obsessed ... The way we took our minds off it was we have planned stuff to do each month and look forward to that and then if we do get our BFP great but if not then we're not waiting on just that. It's so so hard to try and not think about it 24/7. From tomorrow it's back to every other day so we capture any chance we have. Are you taking your vitamins and folic acid?Xx

Just turned 39
Ovulation around CD15 of a 28 day cycle came off pill end of June had first bleed 47 days later and then every 28 days since so this is technically second cycle after withdrawal bleed I guess though already had two attempts during fertile window.with positive OPKs if that makes sense
So hard such a short window of opportunity.

Cycle 5 for me, hopefully this will be the month. AF just arrived this morning, ovulation is usually between CD 15-17

@Lauralozzle I'm roughly the same as your stats - TTC#1, cycle 4, AF arrived 2days ago, will be due again around 18th Oct. best of luck this month!

I'm ovulating today I believe, finally got my CB static smiley last night at 11pm. Hoping the TWW will not make me as crazy as it did last month...

Positive opk on Friday (CD21)

Boobs have grown and become sore overnight so that must be a sign ovulation has happened for me. I swear I'm getting more in tune with my body and the way it works every month 😂 I wish I knew all this in my earliest cycles

Hey everyone!!

Coming here from the September bus! With positivity of course..
currently on CD2..
After abit of a rollercoaster ride last month hoping the October bus is going to the lucky one

2nd October is the start of my fertile window, 7th is meant to be my ovulation day. We will see! Not sure whether to take another approach, maybe smep?

Also dp has a semen test tomorrow which will be interesting, make sure everything is okay from his side.
