October bus

Haven't seen an October bus yet so I figured I'd start one as AF showed up today for me.

Cycle 3
Age 31
AF due around 5 October

7 October is my birthday so would not be opposed to a bit of a present in the form of a BFP 😄

Not sure yet if I'll do anything special this cycle other than taking follic acid and DTD, contemplating buying Clear Blue OPKs though I'm hoping to stay as relaxed as possible (completely failed at that last cycle and obsessed about everything so hopefully I got that out of my system...)

I’ve only just O’d so a wait until 21 October for me... I always say I’m going to relax and chill in the TWW but it’s so hard!! Definitely not testing until AF is late through, I tested last month and the BFNs were soul destroying 🙈 chilling vibes to all.... xx

@Hannah1925 it was 2nd cycle technically but the first official one of trying. I didn't expect it to happen so quickly! Your time will definitely come 🤞 fingers firmly crossed that it is this month xx

@LisaxMarie I think around the 11th of June but different apps and different calculators say a day either side, plus I'm not 100% on my actual weeks. What about you? Xx

@Ellsbells112 I'll try not to. I've had depression since not conceiving and it's really getting me down 😭😭😭😭

@hannah1925 oh babe I'm so sorry 🤗 I really really hope this is your month from the bottom of my heart ❤ have you had scans done to check when you're ovulating to make sure it's at the right time? Xx

@Ellsbells112 don't be sorry, its not your fault. Some days I'm worse than others.

I've just had really light brown cm. This is normal for me 9dpo so not feeling hopeful.

I'm guessing they'll do scans over the next few months? Xxx

Hey, hoping I can join this post too, currently ttc with my third, I think I am about 5 dpo according to the app I am using to track.. yesterday I experienced some cramping in my left side, and kinda like tingly/shooting pains towards my leg.. could this be a sign of ovulation... just wondering if anybody else had, had this? think I'm just symptom spotting everything lol, good luck to everyone and congratulations to the positives too! ❤️ xxxx

@BlondieBlondie15 I’m 4dpo so we’re almost the same 😁 it could be ovulation - I didn’t realise until I used OPKs that I don’t actually ovulate until day 20/21 which is way later than my app predicted. It takes a few cycles to learn your body I think. Have you tried temping or OPKs or are you just going off your app? Xx

@Littlefish88 oh yey! I'm glad we're around the same 😊 no in just been using the app, I'm quite new to this so the app is the first thing I've really done.. yeah that does make sense.. what are OPKs? Do you find yourself thinking anything that happens could be a sign of pregnancy? Last month I drove myself a little crazy with it lol xxxx

@BlondieBlondie15 ovulation predictor kit - basically little sticks you pee on to detect the hormone surge before you ovulate. I did them for a couple of months to track my cycles but stopped because they were sending me a bit loco. And omg yes! I was in such a state last month had totally convinced myself I was PG. we’ve been on hols this month tho so been a lot more chilled xxx

@Hannah1925 hmm could just be spotting, I would be thinking the same in your position but if it doesn't get heavier you might still be in?! Are you due on Wednesday too?

I'm alright thanks, had a busy weekend full of distractions so I stopped thinking about my womb which was nice. Now I'm desperate to tests and have bought some today but realised they aren't as 'early detections' as they say so I'll probably wait til Wednesday! My temps are still high, headaches, nausea, but no boob changes still which is making me suspicious. Trying not to get my hopes up.

Uh I really can't work out when I'm ovulating 🙈🙈 only on ttc cyle 2 and I'm so confused! App says I should be fertile now but iv just worked it out and it should have been last weekend.. I have been using cheap tests on ebay.. should I invest on clear blue ovulation tests? Any suggestions?

I have the faintest squintier on and ic. It's there but I can't get a photo of it 😬

I am currently 10dpo. Tested yesterday but nothing. I don’t really want to test today as I’m just getting my hopes up. My partner has a sperm test on a Friday so we’re hoping to see if there are any more answers. I conceived in July 2018 but the had a silent miscarriage. Doctors have been brilliant and getting us checked out now as it took over 6 months to conceive the first time.

Fingers crossed 🤞 for all of you!

Well I got my bfp this morning at 13dpo got a digital to confirm in the morning feel soooo nervous ! X

@Hannah1925 hey girl sorry for the late reply! I was off to ireland for a hendo and then on sunday got terrible food poisoning from oysters!! Was in bed all day yesterday and even today I terrible so not good at all!

Anyway, yes, I'm sure they will do scans etc and see what's going on which will be really helpful for.you guys I think xx

Need some thoughts please :) We’ve been TTC number 2 for about 6 months and as have PCOS cycles have been all over the place last one was 93 days! Currently on day 30 on this one and for the last couple of days have had horrendous headaches and waves of nausea all day!! I’ve done a test and it was negative, could it be too early to be detected? I can’t feeling this way with my first so not sure if it’s very early signs? Any advice or experiences would be great xx

Hi everyone (again!). I know I only looked today but I have been on and off these boards for quite some time now. Go off for a few months to preserve my sanity! I randomly decided to take a test today even though I convinced myself not to for at least two days. I think I’ve got a bfp. What do you think? Every month I seem to convince myself I’m pregnant so I’m trying to take a step back this month

I’m 2DPO on cycle 3 now, used clear blue OPKs this month but didn’t get a peak so using my clue app to guess ov day ( hoping I’m ovulating.....) , have enough sticks for next month too though so will give clear blue another month !

AF has arrived 6 days early which has never happened before. So I guess I'm out again x

The first day I had an empty circle , then flashing smilies for 7 days , after that I gave up the app told me to stop testing , have enough to try again next month though so will give it another go and maybe test more often. Any tips for using them?

@mrsmeow2019 I'm ok thanks, still here! Really hoping this is my month.

I started using CB OPK's last month and had 7 or 8 flashy smiles before my static on CD17 I think. This month I had 4 days of flashy and static on CD13.

Were you using FMU? they are different to IC and you use first morning urine each day until you get your flashes, then you can test more than once a day. That can get expensive so I used IC as well once I got my flashes and then when they started to get dark I tested again with the CB that afternoon. Does that make sense?
