October bus

Haven't seen an October bus yet so I figured I'd start one as AF showed up today for me.

Cycle 3
Age 31
AF due around 5 October

7 October is my birthday so would not be opposed to a bit of a present in the form of a BFP 😄

Not sure yet if I'll do anything special this cycle other than taking follic acid and DTD, contemplating buying Clear Blue OPKs though I'm hoping to stay as relaxed as possible (completely failed at that last cycle and obsessed about everything so hopefully I got that out of my system...)

@raizelrea. It’s good to be busy isn’t it , I think it’s worse the last few days / week of the 2ww. I’m 10 DPO , bfn today which makes me think I’m probs out now. But we have a week off my next fertile window so fingers crossed. How many DPO are you? Are you having any symptoms?

Girls... so I got a positive! 13DPO I took 2 cheap test first as first one I still couldn't believe then a digital because why not. I had 2 😂

I can't upload pictures supposedly there is a limit per day? I updated another thread so maybe that's why :(

Anyway 2 cheap tests showed a light line but definitely visible , digital says 1-2 weeks pregnant!

@MrsMeow2019 I'd say 10 DPO is way too early to rule anything out 😊 How are you feeling? I'm only 7 DPO, have had waves of nausea throughout the week pretty much from ovulation though they became stronger today (I think that's just my liteal phase being annoying rather than pregnancy though). Also a lot of fatigue but that could be due to the weather or the flu jab I had earlier in the week.

@Raizelrea thank u! tbh I had all my normal pre menstrual symptoms lol hungry, sensitive nipples, dull cramps. Although the cramps are still there for me. I hope they go away soon they're freaking me out, but at least there's no bleeding

@Raizelrea half of me says it’s two early but then the research on FRER makes me think I’m out. It’s still early though only second cycle TTc. The symptoms are frustrating arnt they I don’t think there’s a way to tell early pregnant and PMS apart , this is jusy the point where u want to know u can start another cycle or it’s worked isn’t it :(

Ok so AF came a day earlier than expected, 23rd sept so I’m back on regular 28day cycles after the pill! Currently on CD7 for first month TTC. I got some OPK delivered, it’s the ones with the flashy faces, I didn’t realise the other ones I had only predicted the day of ovulation and not the lead up so hopefully they work! Is it too early in the cycle to be testing for ovulation?

@Rosabuddy yes too early to start testing yet. I think on a 28 day cycle you start testing on day 11, wait on the flashing smilies and finally a solid smilie which indicates your lh surge and that you are about to ovulate

@Loula82 thanks! Not very optimistic about conceiving in our first cycle trying but fingers crossed!!

@MrsMeow2019 Actually someone on another thread I'm on just had a BFP on FRER at 14 DPO, was negative two days ago. Implantation can happen as late as 12 DPO so no matter how sensitive the test is, if implantation hasn't happened yet it wouldn't pick it up. So definitely too early in my eyes 😊

Hi ladies, completely new to MN and have just stumbled upon this and now feeling slightly less mad knowing I'm not the only one!

AF due Yesterday (Sunday) (I'm living in NZ so days might be a bit out of synch to everyone else!)
Have not been 100% myself for the past week.. but I did have 48hr gastro last weekend so could be down to that. Have had period pains since Friday though which is unusual for me so was fully expecting an early period and so far nothing.
Last night i had sharp boob pain and again just thought AF would appear imminently. But it's now Monday afternoon and still, nothing. Have done 2 tests and both negative.
This is torture!! Hoping that joining this thread will help to keep me sane while I keep waiting

@Yogahorseygirl me too, new to TTC and everything - and yes it IS torture this waiting game! But at least your AF is late now, that's hopeful!! Keeping fingers crossed for you! :)

BFN on IC yesterday morning and this morning, and I'm 10dpo now and been getting cramps for last few days so pretty certain I'm out, had my bfp with my son by now so oh well
Will take a FRER maybe on Wednesday to rule out so I know if I can drink at the wedding we are going to this weekend.

All symptoms have gone except.... LOADS of creamy cm, is there hope?? Anyone had lots of creamy cm and then af arrived?

@idath thank you! Feel like these 'pms' symptoms are much more intense than usual and still no AF (it's night time here now).. but feeling confused by the negative tests.. trying not to get my hopes up!

@Yogahorseygirl I get that, I don't deal well with disappointment AT ALL so I always try not to get my hopes or expectations up for anything, and then it's usually stupid small stuff, nothing as major as this, so I'm actually telling myself 'there's no way you're pregnant, because x, y & z' right now! If I actually get pregnant and start having proper symptoms, I'll probably try and stay in denial for as long as possible :)

@Bstansfield me too I've tested today with an IC around 9/10dpo and it's BFN. Admittedly it wasn't FMU as I tested as soon as they arrived in the post 😂. Do you think I still have a chance if testing with FMU tomorrow at 10/11dpo? I'm feeling extremely tired today but not in a bad way just that I could drift off into the nicest nap - but I can't cause I'm working 😫 haven't had any cramps yet. I heard loads of creamy cm is a really good sign if you don't get that usually. FC for you! 🤞🏼

@MrsLEB glad to know someone is as impatient as me 😂 considering a FRER tonight but will wait until the morning... hopefully!

If you've only used ic then could definitely still get your bfp! And yeah I've heard that too but tbh I don't normally pay much attention to it after ovulation, so don't know if it's normal or not :/

@MrsLEB and fingers crossed for you too!!! What sensitivity are your cheapies?

@Bstansfield apparently they are 10mlu. I was pg before and I tested on the Saturday with ic and it was bfn then on the Monday with Sainsbury's and it was bfp.. so I'm not sure how much I trust them either.

@MrsLEB yeah mine are the same, I'd only trust if they were positive 😂😂😂
So are you testing tomorrow morning too then? Hopefully bfp for both of us!

I tested with an IC this afternoon at 8dpo.. it was negative. Am I out?

@omikron you're definitely not out, most women implant on 9dpo which would only show on a sensitive test from 11dpo
You can implant late (average is 6-12dpo)

My friend didn't get a BFP until 18dpo

You're not out until ugly AF shoes xxx

Thanks @HayleyD84 I also did a frer just now but I guess I should wait until I'm at least using FMU! It was negative. I'm quite upset.
