September bus

Hey, so was a little flakey on August bus because this is so hard, but I like the support and folk with bfps give me hope.

Anyway, I am on cycle is seven now, period due first or second September. But will probably poas end of Aug because I turn into a sucker for punishment the week before.

How are you all doing? Will be happy and sorry to see familiar names back.

I also will disappear for days at a time, which doesn't mean I'm ignoring folk, but finding it too intense.

How are you feeling?

Kind of optimistic, I think because I have two throws in September due to how cycle works, if that makes sense? Period due at beginning and end of month. I've often felt jealous of folk who have two throws a month although I know that makes no sense and is all part of the crazy magical thinking that goes with TTC.

I'm feeling good, it's nice talking to my DP about it all and getting excited. Just want it to be ovulation time already 🤭🤣

Joining you all! I'm on CD5 atm and it'll be our first month properly trying for #2. Due to O around 20-23rd (my apps all say different days) and will be using clear blue fertility monitor to track O.

Hope I can join? I'm ttc baby 2. Came off mini pill a week ago no AF yet but hoping to start trying September.

Joining too if that's ok? TTC baby number 2, I am on CD11 and ovulation predicted on Thursday 15th so need to get cracking. Feeling nervous and excited already! Good luck to the rest of you for this month 🤞

Hi ladies, very new to all this (and new to the forums as well)! I have been lurking around for a while as I've been ready for a while but only just really getting started with TTC now so I thought I would join in! Nice to meet you all!

We just got married in June and had stopped using protection since, however have not really been active during the fertile window at all - I came back from our honeymoon with honeymoon cystis so DTD was the last thing on my mind that week, and then we completely skipped the second cycle fertile window due to illness. OH says we're not very good at this haha!

Hi can I join too, tbh I'm likely to be Oct before I'm officially properly trying but I'd like to prepare by speaking to like minded folks and seeing some positive results hopefully! I'm actually only getting my mirena removed tomorrow to ttc #2 so hoping to have the month to have a period and get on track. Still looking forward to figuring out when I'm ovulating etc even if we arnt actually trying in Sept, hope it's ok to join xx

I'm waiting for my OPK tests to arrive and then following the SMEP this month. If they don't arrive we will just DTD every other day until AF ... Sounds tiring just thinking about it!!

@Blossomingflower94 im also planning to give SMEP a go! There's a good SMEP thread on here I'm on ('SMEP #2' it's called) if you wanna join!

@Blossomingflower94 Thank you! Yes it does sound similar, exciting times, hopefully! I'm waiting with OPKs for now since I only got OH on board with the whole baby idea recently and don't want him to get intimidated by it, will see if I change my mind!

@Sleepyhead11 I get what you mean about the two periods in a month, definitely would subconsciously make you feel like your odds are better, and being in a hopeful mindset can't hurt things!

@Raizelrea I'm going to try and keep the OPK's to myself. My partner is only just on board too and I don't want to ruin the romance by talking to him about POAS

Hi @raizelrea, thank you for getting it and congratulations on the wedding. Hope you get a proper shot this mpntg. TTC can be so tough. Would've lovely if you and blossom both got bfps on the fifth.

We are going for everyday from now for the next eight days, because it's cycle seven so getting desperate.

I might be a bit on and off this thread, as sometimes need to step away, but soglad you're all here x

Don't worry about checking in all the time, I can imagine you have to take a step back at times to make sure you don't go crazy!

I'm TTC #1, cycle 9 🤞🏼

My cycles are a bit all over the place and missed ovulation last month. Looks like it was during that heatwave (the only 4 days of the whole month we didn't DTD 🙄).

May start temping again as my apps were completely out and I was OPKing waaaay too late.

Definitely the only married person I know without a child/pregnant 🙈 trying to keep a level head, but this feels like it's taking forever.

@mimi91 I'm sure it'll happen! I know it's frustrating, everywhere I look people are pregnant at the moment and although I'm happy for them I'm also super jealous!

@Mimi91 when you say you were OPKing too late, when should you start? My Flo app says I should ovulate on the 15th but never tracked it before and I bought some cheapie OPKs but no idea when to start taking them!

@mimi91 I think we were on a previous bus together. Cycle seven for me. Nine must be so frustrating. Maybe this is our month?
