This is my 2nd month of trying and I'm finding it hard not to concentrate on anything else. Our first was a complete accident but a very happy one it was our first night together and we were protected lol. So was hoping this time round would be the same but no lol. But we were 6 years younger then lol.

Luxoire · 18/09/2019 20:01

@PieAndPumpkins yeah i cant eait for the cycle to start next Thursday..it is dragging lol..i know i feel bad qishing my life away and i know i should be enjoying my seeming oeace and tranquility and peace and sleep until the heart burn, kicks in the ribs, tiredness in the day, insomnia at night, morning sickness, food aversions amd all the other joys kick in .... Eeek 2ww for you? So how long till u test? Awe babe I am hoping u catch and it sticks lol

@Zm2019 age does make a digferemce i think and it always seems to happen quicker than expected when you're not waiting for it..talk about waiting for paint to dry...well fingers cross it will happen for you soon. Where are u in ur cycle?

Hey, so the witch arrived 😭 as expected 28 day cycle (which is good as its same as last month so I'm regulating after the pill) but means I'm out for this month

@Luxoire your game I like it cheered me up 💓 as this is my first I'm excited to have it all 😂 but I think tiny cuddles will be the best I'm not looking forward to the sleepless nights but guess that will get easier when it become routine?? I'm just so impatient and want it now

MrsSkr · 18/09/2019 21:12

@dancingqueen03 so sorry af arrived, don't be disheartened, next month will be your month. Great to know your regular though, that'll be good for planning next cycle.

@Luxoire, I'm feeling pretty pants today so I'm up for a game to cheer me up.
I'm most looking forward to the baby smell, the tiny cuddles and those first special moments together. I cant wait to see my little girl become a big sister and see their bond. I'm actually looking forward to labour again (weirdly). I'm worried about being pregnant again, I didnt enjoy it last time so really hoping I enjoy it and embrace it more this time. I'm NOT looking forward to the sleepless nights, had a terrible sleeper last time. Hopefully have less anxieties this time around xx

PieAndPumpkins · 18/09/2019 21:33

@luxoire I just started, I'm due on the 1st October, so I'll test the day after if AF doesn't arrive. I'm thinking I'm going to try and surprise dh this time!

My favourite moment is when baby is handed to you right after giving birth. We have decided to find out the sex this time, which we haven't before. Finding out who your little person is, is the best. But I want to experience the other side of the coin / getting to know our new boy or girl as they're kicking and wiggling, choosing a name etc. I also cherish the quiet hours in the hospital, just you and your baby. Also looking forward to introducing the siblings!

Least looking forward to heart burn for about seven months solid 😭

PieAndPumpkins · 18/09/2019 21:41

@dancingqueen03 I'm sorry! Keep positive, at least your cycle is super regular. Next month is your month 💐

dancingqueen03 · 19/09/2019 07:49

@PieAndPumpkins @MrsSkr aww thank you girls your so sweet ❤️ yeah that's what I thought at least I can pin point stuff better this time round, guess it will happen when it's our time xx

Zm2019 · 19/09/2019 08:29

I am CD10 and really cramping today which I hope is a good sign. I hope.

I am looking forward to experiencing it all again. I was so nervous the first time that I didnt get to enjoy pregnancy as much due to worry.

MrsSkr · 19/09/2019 08:39

@Zm2019 I was exactly the same last time, worried too much about everything so really didnt enjoy being pregnant, hope we both get the chance to do it again and enjoy it.

I'm cd15 now, still no sign of ov although iv had a terrible headache for 2 days and woke up all achy and have a sore back....likely just a bad nights sleep lol. I looked back to my ovia from the last time we ttc 3 years ago, apparently I ov on cd22 and cd24?!?! Those were my first 2 months tracking. The second once was after the mc so maybe a bit longer but surely that's too long?!?! That was 3 years ago though, if had a baby and had a mirena (so no periods) since then...I'm praying my cycles will be shorter now, I cant wait another week?!?!?!?!

claireb707 · 19/09/2019 08:50

Looking forward to being a mum and expanding our little family, currently have 2 furbabies (plus some fish).
Not looking forward to the sleepless nights. I don't sleep well anyway and end up with migraines if I don't sleep so not sure how I'm going to cope with that

Luxoire · 19/09/2019 12:45

@dancingqueen03 ohh dalring thats shit but on the bright side like you said your periods are getting regular with a regular cycle - should help planning going forward!! - awww tiny cuddles are the best - if you loive your sleep you dont really dont get used to the sleepless nights hahahaha they just become your new reality and you live through it hahahaha - glad it cheered you up

@MrsSkr aww babe sorry to hear you are feeling rubbish! yeah the tiny cuddles and smell are the best aren't they?! hmmm
HOW ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO LABOUR? girl youa re brave - i am not bothered by it tbh BUT i wouldnt say i am looking fwd to it ahahaha. Pray you get your wish soon though...yeah looks like the sleepless nights is a theme for everyone - ohhhhh i dont even mind bad sleepers - its the CRIERS that get me - if you're not sleeping but you are quite i am ok with it - its the babies that cry for no reason non-stop

Those of you who have got your bfp, what was your CM like after ovulation? I'm 4dpo today and have creamy cm 🤨
Also have back ache but think that's cos I was lifting 10l of water last night changing the water in my fish tank more than anything else lol

MrsSkr · 19/09/2019 12:54

@Luxoire...I dont know why lol I think maybe because I didnt like pregnancy, being in hospital I felt safe and I was excited to meet my baby. Dont get me wrong, I'm not looking forward to the pain but I had a really good experience first time around and it's just such a unique experience. Although at this point I'm just looking forward to getting a bloody positive opk!! Really feel off today, almost like my af could arrive, all achey. But then my opk was negative and have no cm....

Luxoire · 19/09/2019 13:54

@PieAndPumpkins ohhh excisitng!! Oct 1st just 10 away! you are so right that moment when baby is given to you and you say HELLO formerly... like I am known you for the last 40 weeks and made you and it is finally great to see you! that is just magical isnt it - it makes you almost forget labour and ignore the sleepless nights ahead or the horror of breastfeeding for that moment all is perfect!..oh lawd!! the heartburn! i suffer really badly from it - i avoid anything tomato based like its th plague and pulses and anything high fibre - well anything that is not ice really!!!

@Zm2019 ohh cramping is good - i dont really get cramping my only sign is ewcm lol
aww babe i hope you can enjoy it this time and relax a bit more. i know it is easier said than done though

@claireb707 just remember to ask for hewlp when you need it and accept it when it is given to you - i think most new mums want to do it all, all the time we forget that help is there to be accepted and requested... i get migraines too if i dont get enough sleep. i used to sleep eveychance i got lol

OP posts:
Luxoire · 19/09/2019 14:00

@claireb707 my cm goes back to creamy within a day or 2 of ovulation ..so not sure

@MrsSkr ohh i get you so that was the most pleasurable part of the whole experience for you - no doubt you are looking forward to that bit again..aww babe, i really do hope it is easier for you this time round and that ovulation happens soon for you!! those all sounds like O signs dont they?

MrsSkr · 19/09/2019 17:20

So I'm pretty sure I'm not going to ovulate until next week, I think Ovia is wrong and is going off an average 28 day cycle. Unless things have changed alot since last time, 3 years ago, then I'm going to ov on CD 23/24 which isn't until next Thurs. I think the symptoms today are actually me coming down with a bug as I now have a sore throat and feel a hit achey all over. So I'm thinking about stopping opks until next week, I really need to focus on something else other than peeing on bloody opks! xx

Destiny25 · 19/09/2019 17:22

Hey girls, how we all doing?
If i ov'd when I thought I did I'm cd5, no more opks left to test and I'm not getting anymore, going for the laid back approach this month.

wannabemum38 · 19/09/2019 23:23

@Luxoire looking forward to seeing that positive line. Seeing my partner's face when I tell him we are having a baby holding the baby in my arms for the first time.
Nearing end of my TWW AF due tomorrow or Saturday

MrsSkr · 20/09/2019 08:31

Ok question for you...

So I'm not kinda hoping I dont ov until next week as Iv been up in the night and now have a horrid cold/flu. Done an opk this morning and it's fairly strong (not positive). Iv had a complete turn around from being desperate for a positive opk to hoping it holds out until I'm better but what if it doesnt...what would you do?

Snot, phlegm, coughing and sneezing arnt exactly seductive lol and tbh I have the chills and body aches so really dont feel up to dtd...but should I??

Hope you're all well this morning.

xxx

wannabemum38 · 20/09/2019 10:19

@MrsSkr the endorphins of having sex might actually make you feel better lol but understand if you don't feel up to DTD tricky

I have some light pink spotting today so looks like AF is on way tomorrow gutted really thought this month we had cracked it DTD so close to ov before and after 😭

Luxoire · 20/09/2019 11:47

@MrsSkr i agree DTD might make u feel better - lol - but i get it if you arent feeling up to it - would you be willing to wrote this month off TTC?if you are not, then take some cold and flu tablets and show the flue who is boss lol hahhah does not have to a 'lengthy' session hahaahha
Re Ovia - I am sure you can adjust the cycle length days yourself if you go to your profile - mine lets me! DOthat and see what it does with the Ovulation dates/fertile window (you can always set it back)

@Destiny25 cometimes being chilled is great isnt it?! you can even then just focus on enjoying sex (almost no pressure) I really hope this is your month hun x

@wannabemum38 aww babe, sorry to hear that - well clean slate, new cycle new month! aww i am sure it will be EPIC when you get to tell him, he is having his very own mini-me

OP posts:
Destiny25 · 20/09/2019 12:04

@Luxoire I don't think I've ever been as chilled haha, I'm not even symptom spotting although I am having weird feelings down there, almost like indigestion but not if that makes any sense!
I'm not even going to test earlier, all the money I wasted last month was stupid so I'm going to wait untill a few days late if I get that far.

How is everyone doing?

MrsSkr · 20/09/2019 21:17

Thanks girls, no dtd happened....if you could see me you'd understand why 🤣 it would be like having sex with a zombie lol. But still no positive opk anyway....although I'm confused as iv just been to loo and wiped pink streaked discharge (so sorry for tmi) why would that be?! xx

Destiny25 · 20/09/2019 21:34

@MrsSkr this happened to me but it was brown not pink, apparently this can happen just before or just after ovulation, I'm convinced it's not my month as I've never had it before!
Get well soon and I hope your still in with a chance.
