Fresh off the mini pill today-hoping for BFP Oct/Nov 2019 for a Summer 2020 Baby. NEED A BUDDY?

Off the mini pill (Noriday) today looking for a BFP ideally Oct/Nov 2019 for a Summer 2020 baby - so during the holidays when other kids are on Hols so i don't have to worry about the school run as will most likely have a CS

We will be using condoms but i know anything is possible from when I am off the pill

Guess cycle isn't 100% normal as I'm only cd10 but hey I'm not complaining.

2 weeks yesterday though we're going on holiday so I have dilemma of do I take a test (or two or three) with me just in case 😂😂

If it was me I'd be waiting to do a test, I wouldn't want it to ruin my holiday by constantly wondering am I or being upset if it isn't the outcome I wanted, go have fun and do it first think when your back but I know it's hard I tested this morning out of curiosity and that was a BFN 😭

@claireb707 whoop whoop yeah thats an early O...great! i hope you got plenty of swimmers in you?! aww keeping everything crosssed for you! Re taking a test, i think it depends on you, personally i would take one with me, bcos I wouldnt want to drink etc....as i'd not forgive myself if something 'happened' although you wouldn't know anyway. If you are dead anal like me and like to know everything ahahah then yeahm, cos the not-knowing will torture me and distract me. But I agree with the others, if you think not knowing will make you enjoy your holiday more in ignorance, then dont take one with you and don't buy one out there either

I am CD19 today with the witch due to be here next week Thursday! so just in that limbo phase at the moment really

Hey ladies! Sorry I've been MIA for a bit.
I'm not doing ovulation tests or temperatures or anything... But today is supposed to be ovulation day! Eeeek!
Keeping all my fingers crossed for all the baby dust, blowing it to you all x

Hi ladies, how is everyone getting on? Life has been a bit all over the place for me. We made a firm decision to ttc using donor sperm to try to avoid baby having the same condition my dd1 died from (potentially genetic/ inherited), paid the clinic and waiting for AF.....and....AF late. Had been super super careful last month but it seems we are super fertile and got a bfp last night.
Freaking out and a mixture of scared/ excited about the journey ahead.
Hope everyone else is getting on well.

@Robs20 ohh wow CONGRATULATIONS - i am sure with your history they will run all the necessary tests and you can make informed choies/decisions! awww the best thing you can do for the little one now, if to be positive and channel all your energy towards being a great mum! aww these things happen for a reason, so enjoy it. sending you great big hugs xxxx

@pieandpumpkins were about the same, were not doing ovulation tests etc and I think I ovulate on Wednesday so were not far off each other. Fingers crossed for you.

Congratulations @Robs20...I cant even imagine how you must be feeling. Please just try to relax. This is a miracle, like you said, you were so careful so hopefully this was meant to be and will be a perfectly healthy pregnancy and baby. Like @Luxoire said, the Drs will be on the ball I'm sure and will run all the relevant and available tests. But for now....Congratulations!!

Still getting negative opks...CD 12 today. Prob a good thing since we haven't dtd since Thurs....tonight we get back on track though! So impatient!!! xx

What do you think of this? I dont know why it would change? I logged a low opk and right pelvic pain? Dont think that's enough to change my fertile window?? Not meant to enter fertile window until Wed with peak being Sat?? Do I accept it or carry on as I am? I'd love it to be sooner....soooooo impatient 🤣🤣

@Luxoire aww thanks hun Iv been mega busy with this new job, it's great tho I love it keeping my mind off it, Flo says I'll be 28 days tomorrow therefore AF should arrive, but just depends if I'm regular or not since the pill.. Iv had one and off backache but nothing to serious so who knows maybe I'll wait a week and then test again if AF isn't here 🤞

@MrsSkr i think it is because the algorithms log pelvic pain as a sign for egg release so when you logged that inbn, it recalculated everything. if you take that out it will go back to how it was. It did same for me when I logged in my potiive Opk, it recalculated my fertile period for this month so it started and ended 2 days earlier and adjusted next month's calculations too. If AF shows up a day or 2 early and finished early/late too if you log it in, it will recalculate everything lol

@dancingqueen03 ohh i well let me know what happens, and maybe test weekend if AF still not here then? i think you are right coming off the pill can mess things up but the fact you ovulated means its only a matter of time before you shed the unfertilised egg (sorry tmi) or get a BFP one way or another...awwww sending you hugs and keeping everything crossed for you

So do I 😀😂 (though a little part of me still hopes it doesn't as I want my Caribbean cruise at Christmas - which we will cancel if I do get pregnant due to zika).
Been for blood tests today (thyroid) and as usual my veins let me down 😢 they needed 2 vials worth and only just got one so I may have to go back next week 😢😣 tried twice on one arm and one on the other

My friends just announced shes pregnant 😭😭 Of course I'm delighted for her but cant help be a wee bit jealous. God this is me in my first month....I NEED to get pregnant this month...this ttc business isnt for me! Too stressful and I'm too impatient lol.

Thanks @Luxoire...I just left things as they were. It was going to say my peak day was yesterday and i still haven't had a positive opk yet so it would've messed everything up. Xx

Thanks for the congratulations ladies. It still feels surreal. We have been in touch with the hospital that cared for my dd today to see if I can have antenatal care there. It is a specialist London hospital and we are not in the right borough so i really hope they take us. As Eliza’s condition was never diagnosed they can’t test for it in pregnancy but will do a fetal mri and detailed cardiac check to look for signs of it.
@claireb707 I have terrible veins too, recently I’ve had blood taken from the top of my hands which was much easier. If you wash your hands in warm water first it gets the blood flowing so that helps too.

I've had it from hands before - it Bloody hurt so I try to avoid it is possible. I was roasting as well so don't think it was a cold thing, I'd also frank about 3-3.5 litres today so not dehydrated either - just veins of crapness

@claireb707 my veins were terrible when i was having my first 2 but then I was bigger and younger...now I'm in my mid 30s and thinner...they seem to be more prominent so hoping its easier this this time round bcos of my BMI I have to be monitored for diabetes... They used to poke me no end and then when i needed fluids after delivery it was a nightmare!! Gosh the things I do for kids lol..

@MrsSkr Hahhaha I know what I mean about being a wee bit jealous..friend of mine had a baby 4 weeks ago and I was just drooling over the baby..and I have avoided going to see her soon...also it feels like 2019 was flying by so quickly until I started WTTC and TTC now the days and weeks are dragging its ridiculous..feels like more than 24hrs a day lol...i am impatient too Hahahah...part of me feels bad and that I should be enjoying my time with the kids now before pregnancy and new baby hit but the other part of me just wants to be pregannt already hahaha...ohh interesting keep testing..ur testing 3 times a day right? So no chance you'd have missed it.

@Robs20 aww hun I hope they can take u on at the specialist hospital bcos it would be easier to have tests and scans all that when directly under the ight consultants..u dlnt have to wait for a referral from your doc...keep us posted. Somrthing To make u girls laugh - So we dtd condom free yesterday for the first time in 10 days well since my fertile period...i reckon I am safe now...anyways DH rocks up home from work with 2 packs of Pregnacare and I'm like I think u missed the conception tabs before the pregnancy ones...he said nah only the best for you!! He woke up this morning and cleaned up downstairs made the kids cereal Hahhahaha I must have missed a trick before woth this condom on-cpndom off business lol Hahahha

Hey ladies busy weekend birthday celebrations are over coming to end of TWW 10dpo did a PG test today BFN am hoping it's too soon but had bad backache all week and my boobs are aching a little now today. Got a bit of pelvic pain aswell. AF due Saturday so will hold out to test again if it doesn't turn up.

@MrsSkr it always feels like everybody is pregnant or having a baby when you're ttc! It only took me 3 months last time, but I was starting to get miserable and impatient waiting. I'm determined to try to be positive and patient this time. No ovulation testing, no obsessing, just lots of dtd! I think I'm in my second day of ovulation cramps, so I'm hoping I did at least ovulate after the pill.
@wannabemum38 yeah definitely too early. The 2ww is hard! Few more days 🤞

Nothing much happening here just waiting for the witch next Thursday as projected and then I can start the ttc cycle....

THIS MONTH IS GOING SOOO SLOWLY. We have family coming over Friday cor a week that should keep me busy and help the week go quick

@luxoire oooo so you're officially ttc from next cycle? Sooo exciting! I do that too, ask myself like, OK, what can I do to fill my days to make the week go quickly?! Look at us wishing our lives away lol
Well I'm cd16, so I'm in the 2ww now I guess! 😁
