Off the mini pill (Noriday) today looking for a BFP ideally Oct/Nov 2019 for a Summer 2020 baby - so during the holidays when other kids are on Hols so i don't have to worry about the school run as will most likely have a CS

We will be using condoms but i know anything is possible from when I am off the pill

Aww not long till you start now, you sound so prepared for it are you excited to start? Have you got a plan? Iv been reading up in that SMEP I think I might try that if I'm not successful this time

I've a bit of a weird one, does this look positive or nearly positive, only cd10 can you even ovulate this early?

@Destiny25 I'd say that looks pretty close to positive. I think it can happen this early, will give you a shorter cycle? How long ago did your period stop? As long as youv had a long enough proliferative phase for your lining to get ready? Must say...I'm a bit jealous lol xx

My period started on the 4th @MrsSkr which was Wednesday and was done by Sat/Sun. I had brown discharge when I wiped so I know it was defo done. I'm hoping if it is ovulation it'll wait untill Sunday when oh is home. Dtd Wednesday night but it might not be good enough haha!
Ah well what will be will be!

@dancingqueen03 oh darling I am nervous anxious and excited all at same time..dont know how I will cope but I am looking fwd to having another bundle of milk guzzling happiness to love and cuddle and nurse..lol. I just often wonder if I can do it..

I havent got a plan just going to dtd every day and or every other day lol Hahahha differrnt positions...no wee for atleast 6hrs after sex and doing it as close to bedtime as possible so everything stays in when lying down (sorry tmi) and hope for the best like the first 2 times!! Lol Hahahah

@Destiny25 that looks positive to me..keep testing every day and see when I get a drop in hormones or if u get anlther poaitive around the 14 day mark..but i agree with @MrsSkr u can ovulate early in a long cycle or have a longer luteal phase..

@Luxoire tested again this morning and it's a lot fainter, I'll re test this afternoon see what that one says, but am I right in thinking if yesterday was my surge today is ovulation day?
I did have back pain and twinges last night come to think of it.

How do you ladies keep on top of these messages lol. I try and keep up to date with you all so I can join in but I get lost lol.

Yay it's our time to try again this week. How often do you guys do. Do you try every day or every other day.

@Destiny25 yeh I think ovulation happens up to 24hours after the positive test. Did you day your partner is away? Remind me when hes home? I think egg can stay viable after ovulation for a short time so you might still be ok if he comes back tomorrow and you dtd straight away....maybe let him take his coat off 🤣🤣

I have another ever so slightly darker opk today but still far off positive, really hoping it gets darker soon, the wait is killing me. I'm testing 3x a day 🤣🤣

Sorry @Zm2019... forgot to reply to the last bit lol. Yes we are following SMEP (although hubby doesnt know it) so dtd every other day from cd8 then waiting for a positive opk and will try to dtd every day for 3 days if we can from then....then prob will sleep for the duration of the tww 🤣🤣

Right ladies, tell me if I'm being a crazy, presumptuous, over optimistic psycho....as I said before, we go on holiday in 2 weeks and I'm hoping I'll be in my tww when we are there. I'm still undecided on whether to take a test with me or not but I'm going to go a step further and ask....I'm unsure how to tell hubby this time, last time I poas then ran through and waved it in his face 🤣 this time I want it to be bit nicer...I plan to get my dd a tshirt saying 'I'm going to be a big sister' to announce to our families. Would I be mad to get one now and take it on holiday for hubs too? Please be honest and tell me to get back in my box if you think its waaaaay too early to even consider this xx

I'd say maybe just tell him or show him the test..but if ur super organised and can get a t-shirt in time for when u travel that he wont fine then do it with the t shirt...it sounds cute... Though my hubby will be slightly peeved if I did a test found time to change my clothes before telling him Hahahah...u aounds like ur gonna be super busy...lol or maybe wait till u get ur positive yet or start getting symptoms? I'd be disappointed if i were geared up and ready for a positive and nothing happened...but if u can handle it then hey why not?!

@Zm2019 just join in whenever hun...i try to keep up with the mags either by reading all and replying all in ome go or doing replies through out the day..depends on how busy I am and whrther my kids are well behaved lol

@Destiny25 I think @MrsSkr answrres u..and the eggs can stay up to 48hrs i am told so the sperm can still meet the egg...i would say just focus on getring as much sperm in you as possible just before dueing and for a day or 2 after ur postive opk...thats my plan anyway...hopeing one of those swimmers geta lucky lol

I don't think I'm ovulating, I've just had like a clump of stringy brown discharge, and now it's back normal so I'm thinking maybe delayed finish to af. Why is the body so confusing? 😂
My tests are just faint now so god knows what it could of been! I have been feeling the dull back pain you get before Af too!
How is everyone else doing? I think I need wine haha!

Soo @MrsSkr oh just drove 2 hours home, didn't even let him take his shoes off never mind coat haha! He's now on his way back all just to return home tomorrow! But I guess a happy wife is a happy life 😂! Let's just hope I am actually ovulating and we don't have to do this mad rush in a week or two 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Luxoire....yeh I'm getting ahead of myself really arnt I. I promised myself I wouldn't get obsessed this time ttc and look at me already 🤣🤣 I think you're right, I'd get upset if I packed the tshirt then couldnt use it. I think I'll save that for family. He said he's not bothered how I tell him. Last time I told him I was going to test and he was sitting waiting and the line was soooooo faint there was no real excitement as it was very "is is/isn't it?" I think I'll do it alone this time until I get a nice strong line then tell him.

I thought I wiped some ewcm earlier and got excited but really I think ov is still a way off yet. My only symptoms are fatigue and I'm feeling unusually horny 🤣🍆 (but the fatigue counteracts the horny since I feel asleep and was snoring on the couch after dinner....not sexy) xx

Morning all, laying a bit of catch up this morning as I've not been on in a few days.
Think I'm going to give up on the temp monitoring as it seems to be very inconsistent (according to app / temp I ovulated yesterday on cd9, yet opk says no).

I am unable to do it exactly same time every day due to my completely irregular sleep pattern..

Am now doing opk twice a day but all still been -ve but one yesterday was darker than all rest but still not even close to control line so think it's close

@claireb707 keep testing especially in a evening, I read yesterday your surge usually happens in a afternoon so if you only test mid day you could miss it.

I think I may have actually ovulated, been googling (bad idea) I've had the back ache, the tingly boobs, the heightened sense of smell and some random lower twinges - my opks are not getting as dark at the picture I last sent. And I've also have a little brown discharge which google says is common so must be right 😂

@MrsSkr he's either dedicated or just really missed me haha! I'd only told him I'd just shaved my legs and he replied with on my way 😂🤦🏻‍♀️!
He should be back home this evening for round 2!

@Destiny25 Hahahahah he's dedicated bless him...i had that in my first cycle of the pill too..but mine was ewcm randomly a few days after AF but too early for ovulation...lol tue body is just plain old weird..i did ovulate properly cd14 I think. Dont worry atleast the mad rush sessions keep him on his toes, I am sure he wont complain. At least he is just as keen as u which is great..hope it works for u both thia month

@MrsSkr I am thinking of doing same thing I.e. testing myself till i get a positive then tests with him and tell him and thrn act surprised lol of hes not around...thing is with the first 2 he used to ask me every morning is it today we are testing? So i couldnt get out of it...he doesnt seem as interested this time round so oh well!!...
Aww hun, I think the t shirt will be a great way to tell ur family...just enjot ur holiday without symptom apotting or testinf if that possible.
You are right i think nature make u deliberately horny in ur fertile period to encourage sex and pregnancy and procreation. Nature is wonderful...whereas I have zero sex drive when the witch is around...lol

@claireb707 yeah I think testing twice a day ia good...i did around noon and then again arkund 6/7 pm...i canr temp as I cant guarantee to do it same time everyday.... Good luck darling xx
