Fresh off the mini pill today-hoping for BFP Oct/Nov 2019 for a Summer 2020 Baby. NEED A BUDDY?

Off the mini pill (Noriday) today looking for a BFP ideally Oct/Nov 2019 for a Summer 2020 baby - so during the holidays when other kids are on Hols so i don't have to worry about the school run as will most likely have a CS

We will be using condoms but i know anything is possible from when I am off the pill

Well either I've got spotting or period has arrived. (Finally)

Cd12 for me today so according to ovia app my fertile window is starting today did an OPK very very faint line hope it gets darker by friday when DP arrives.
On the plus side we have found a flat, holding fee put down and checks need to be done. And today I secured a full time job at last so happy days
How is everyone getting on?

@wannabemum38 congratulations on the flat that is great news!! Well done you...hopefully all goes great and u love in quickly. Gosh u have got a busy year ahead havent you?!! Yeah keep testing and hopefully like u said u dtd as many timws as possible arlund when u get ur positive

@PieAndPumpkins I would count CD1 as rhe day I notice blood only cls i think thise hirmoes will already be in place to enable the blood to start showing! But that is just me.

Or maybe not few spots and very minor cramps on right hand side and now nothing....
Cramping didn't feel like usual period pain either

@wannabemum38 huge congratulations on flat and the job, it's really all coming together for you isnt it! And it looks like your timing could be good for ovulation this month too 🤞🤞

It looks like shes arrived here today, turns out I just need to be patient as I'm pretty sure shes bang on time. Iv had cramps for ages and was convinced she was coming several times before but she definitely here now. Hopefully it wont be long for you now, it's so frustrating isnt it xx

Omg its soooooo frustrating, I'm the most impatient person in the world so I feel your pain. You just need to know where you are! Hold in there, if you had a wee bleed hopefully somethings happening and she'll arrive soon 🤞🤞

Iv just had a wee look forward and if all goes as expected and I ovulate when predicted...I'll be 10 dpo on my 30th Birthday whilst on holiday in Spain....I reeeeeally hope that brings extra luck. Would you guys take tests with you or wait until you came home...suppose it could make or break the holiday xx

@claireb707 ohh darling that is frustrating isnt it?! well i am sure she is on her, and our bodies do some weird and wonderful thing - i am sure you didnt imagine it last night, maybe you had some light spotting and that is a sign that something is happening in your body! hang in there i am sure the witch is not far off!

@MrsSkr ohhh sounds like this bday is gonna be extra special make sure you get as much action as possible whilst on holiday! I would take a test with, bcos if it does catch i wouldnt want to risk drinking as i couldnt live with myself if something happened (even though it may be unrelated) BUT if you decide you want to enjoy your birthday regardless...then DO NOT TAKE a test, enjoy your birthday and test when you get back!! i am too anal to not take a test hhahahahahaah - this is very exciting for you!

at the moment i am in that weird limbo between period and ovulation/fertile days - so back to condoms for any actions until Ovulation has been and gone...ohh the hardship of it all! hahahahaah

i cam start DPIG SOMETHING by O testing from when my fertile window starts on Monday
So i have been looking into this (whilst doing nothing) and advice is to test:

• twice a day (not first urine) So I will go for 10am and 6/7pm?
• no water for 2 hrs before testing
• no urine for 4hrs or more before testing

to make sure you get enough of the hormone

I may need to order more testing sticks for next month hahahah

I AM BACK as a bit stumped at the minute so I have been to do a wee twice so far today and when I have gone to wipe down I have clear stretchy CM... I am only CD8...anyone have any idea? i am too early to be in fertile period as technically not due to start fertile period till Monday according to my app

I'd say trust your body not an app that isn't physically connected to you...

What do opk tests say?

@claireb707 I haven't even done any opk yet as i thought surely I can ovlate this soon after a period? my period just finished 2 days ago?! I am CD8.... now you mention it, I will have to do an opk next time i feel like doing a wee!

@claireb707 gurl at this point I AIN'T SURE ABOUT NOTHING!!! like even if it was a long 6 day withdrawal bleed - i was pretty regular even when I was on the POP pill Noriday - so my period was due anyway 2 days after the bleed started (so I started he WB/period - i dont even know what to call it now!! 2 days early) which I thought oh maybe stopping the pill brought the period on earlier....and if that is the case, then I was not due to ovulate for another month!

I wish I could take a microscope into my ovaries

I am also feel like I am coming down with a fever just taken my temp and it is reading normal at 36.2 (temp is not an AF sign or anything for me)

Iv been reading our chats while Iv been away and seems like this TTC is so mind boggling 😂

So according to my Flo app Iv been in my ovulation stage since last Thursday with it been predicted that I would ovulate on Tuesday so we have been dtd but I haven't noticed any ewcm? And I should be out of this stage by today

I didn't use the ovulation test this time as I didn't want the pressure so I tried monitoring my cm but I have really noticed any? (Sorry tmi - I don't know if it's just me but I notice that some days I have none and other there might be a bit of white cm but never ewcm?)

I'm just so confused and kicking myself that I didn't just use the dam test!!

Been to the docs tonight to check my medication and see if there was anything else I needed to consider.
I've been booked in for some blood tests to check my thyroid levels as haven't had them checked since December, she said once I get pregnant I will be monitored monthly I think she said and I would be under consultant /hospital care rather than midwife.
She has advised starting to reduce the dose of one of my other tablets to see if I can manage without it as it's one that isn't advised during pregnancy, not sure how I feel about that as I've been on it since 2009 and I've not been off it since, so not sure if I'll manage but we'll see.
She's given me a list of do and don't foods and said she hopes she'll see me again soon 🤞
I suspected I would be monitored during pregnancy anyway as as well as thyroid issues I also have fibromyalgia, Hypermobility and low blood pressure. I also had a hip replacement 3 years ago so it's going to be interesting assuming I get that far

@Luxoire I had this! Also did and OPK and came back high but not peak as is I was about to ovulate, it then dropped and i think I ovulated either Sunday or Monday. The TTW has begun, anyone else in it? I've not read back all the chat to work out where everyone is, I told myself I wouldn't be that crazy, obsessive testing lady I once was when ttc my first..I tested yesterday at 3 dpo. INSANE I KNOW 😂 I'll be lucky if I hold off testing again past next Monday!

Hi girls, how are you all? We were away this week so that's why I was quiet. We had a nice time but I had two migraines which spoilt it really.

I do recommend those OPKs. I used to think they were rubbish but they did give me a rough idea- although who knows when it actually happened. I hope you are all ok. X

@dancingqueen03 hey hun try not to worry you may still have ovulated - i think we only see the EWCM on our underwear because it is so much in the cervix it is discharged in the vaginal area (sorry for TMI) however, if you don't see it on your underwear it does not mean you don't have it - it may just not be as much (i think i read online that drinking lots of water and staying hydrated in your fertile period will help produce lots of EWCM as this is THE BEST environment for sperm to survive and swim).
In order to really know, if you dont see any on your knickers, you have to insert a finger in your vagina as close to your cervix as possible and you should be able to feel/get some - kind of like a cervical sweep. If you dont get any EWCM then it isn't - however, a lot of women dont really need to do this, but up to you. So maybe use the opks and if you think you should be ovulating but dont see any ewcm you can do a cervical sweep - KEEP HYDRATED... so are you in you 2WW now? If so, ohh good luck i hope it happens for you!!

@claireb707 I am glad you went to the docs if only to put your mind at ease. It sounds like your doc is on top of your meds and trying to work with you for the best outcome. Maybe try their recommendations for a couple of weeks and see how you feel? I think you will be able to cope without the meds and if not, I am sure they will explore alternatives, but you wont know until you try right? well done you for even getitng this far - fingers crossed things will move smoothly for you. and when you do get pregnant I am sure you will get all the support you need....sending you big massive bear hugs x
