Fresh off the mini pill today-hoping for BFP Oct/Nov 2019 for a Summer 2020 Baby. NEED A BUDDY?

Off the mini pill (Noriday) today looking for a BFP ideally Oct/Nov 2019 for a Summer 2020 baby - so during the holidays when other kids are on Hols so i don't have to worry about the school run as will most likely have a CS

We will be using condoms but i know anything is possible from when I am off the pill

Hi, just joined today, came off the mini pill a week ago today (bit of a last minute decision - but Im 40 now and we decided not to wait any longer), Ive been very very regular on the pill and was (according to the app) due to ovulate last friday so we were quite active (and still are tbh), had withdrawal bleed last saturday / sunday. I know its going to be harder for me to conceive being over 40 but heres hoping! Another week to wait till I was due on...

This will be our first, weve been together almost 4 years now and have been talking about it for a while (I was with my ex for 12 years, married for 8 but he didnt want kids (not why we split))

Ive bought a BBT thermometer and have just ordered some ovulation / pregnancy tests just on the off chance

Thanks, quite excited about it to be honest , though we do have a 2 week caribbean cruise booked at christmas (joint 40th birthday present) so 'if' I do get pregnant before then we will have to cancel it, and if Im not then we will go and have to put TTC on hold till after the 3 months (zika). its been a bit of a whirlwind few months for us as we bought our first home (our forever home) in march so we're mid decorate

@HappyGirl86 I'm feeling okay thank you, how about yourself?
Back ache seems to be coming and going I recon I'm preparing for Mother Nature, took a test on the off chance but bfn as expected. Only going to test now next Saturday morning if I havnt come on as I'm out for my friends birthday that night.

@claireb707 good luck with the ttc, I'd still be going on the cruise either way haha! And congrats on the new house together.

Glad you are ok @Destiny25 I hope the backache goes off. Might just be too early to test at the moment, so wait and see.

The cruise sounds amazing @claireb707 I've never been on a cruise but a Caribbean one sounds the way to do it!

Sorry Iv not been around much nothing seemed to be happening for my TTC journey until yesterday I HAD MY FIRST PERIOD SINCE COMING OFF THE PILL!! 🎉 (I was so happy)

So technically my TTC journey has officially started Iv been reading your chats and you have pursued me to order some ovulation kits - just a question Iv read that you ovulate around 10 days into your cycle but as I have irregular cycles when would you recommend I start testing?

@HappyGirl86...I had never heard of yellow discharge but it made me curious so I googled...it doesn't seem to be a bad thing???

Has anyone noticed their moods have changed since they stopped the pill? I actually feel much happier some days. I think the pill made me a little flat....emotionless maybe. I often just felt angry and fed up. I do feel like I notice a difference but hard to explain.

Yaaaaaayyyy @dancingqueen03 brilliant. Who'd have thought how happy we'd be to be getting our periods 😂 if your cycles are irregular maybe start around cd8 ish and see? If nothing wait a day. I'm not too sure but that's what I'd do as I'm a poas addict 😂😂

So I'm pretty sure I ovulated yesterday (positive opks, now negative and by terrible backache and tummy pain was gone this morning) but today iv had bloody discharge?! Any ideas? xx

@MrsSkr I had bloody ewcm when my opks were coming back positive and I googled like mad too and it is a thing. It is strange tho never experienced it before.

So I woke up this morning and my period has gone.. is this normal? It would have been 3 days with a light period for me?

After looking at my cycle I came off the pill on the 21 July had a day of blood when I wiped on the 23 July and then the 31 - 2 i has light/spotting (could that have been my AF for the July?)

I'm just so confused 😐

You all seem to have been SUPER BUSY in my absence lol lots of DEEDS GETTING DONE lol hopefully we will have atleast 1 BFP in this cycle for those actively TTC.

So we cam back from holiday midnight on Wednesday (i took my last pill then - more out of routine than anything else) I am officially PILL_FREE now as i didnt take it yesterday. However, we DTD with condoms yesterday and DH complained the whole way though about it not being/feeling same.

Anyone have any tips?

I am now waiting for my first pill free period. According to Ovia my period is not due until 31st August anyway, so I am hoping 2 weeks is enough for it to come on time?!

BTW i think my DH is definitely not looking fwd to the next 2 months with condoms - hopefully this means he will be full of life when we come off condoms and start TTC

I asked him which is he dreading most the condoms of the new baby! he said both but the baby is longer term hahahahahaah

Welcome back. Sex isn't same with condoms but it's not forever and will be amazing when you stop!
I'm due AF tomorrow had back aches and head aches past few days and a bit of pink spotting when I wiped last night sorry for TMI thought maybe it was going to arrive a day early but nothing today prob waiting for when I go to Disneyland Sunday mother nature can be cruel like that.
Anyone had positive tests I've missed?!

aww hun, yeah sounds like AF is on the way, although dont rule hope out until it is actually here. You probably wont be able to swim, but hopefully you can enjoy Paris and come back to TTC all nice and fresh waiting for ovulation. How long are you away for?
