Off the mini pill (Noriday) today looking for a BFP ideally Oct/Nov 2019 for a Summer 2020 baby - so during the holidays when other kids are on Hols so i don't have to worry about the school run as will most likely have a CS

We will be using condoms but i know anything is possible from when I am off the pill

glad to have you back pill free now yay!! I had my first period after my pill this week 5weeks after stopping it's been kinda short 3 days max but hopefully you have better luck 🤞

@wannabemum38 enjoy the calm before the storm of a new baby! Totally soak it all in...the kittle creatures absorb everything lol and give you baack love and poop and smiles and warm cuddles

@dancingqueen03 holiday was more for the kids lol they had so much fun. I think these resorts are designed to keep kids entertained at the expense of parents! Hahaha it was good to not cook or clean for a few days though x

According to my app I'm 4 DPO. I've been having a few cramps today which makes me wonder if that's a good sign or if it's the start of AF coming.
Could be anything though......I should avoid symptom spotting.

Ohhh shit and the withdrawal symptoms have started...terrible migraine just started!! FFS!!

@HappyGirl86 aew hun it could be anything..just try to calm down and not get ur stress hormones too much!

My holiday was ok..kids had a great time and i got to not cook or clean !

@luxoire We are in a similar situation, except I stopped the pill three weeks ago. Still waiting for the withdrawl bleed, but I have been cramping on/off for 3 days now. Waiting, waiting!
How about the pull out method?

@PieAndPumpkins judging from the other ladies waiting times between 2-4weeks on average to get AF I'd say your flow is not far away...hang in there hun..sending u hugs

Pull out method kinda scares me cos I think those swimmers are present even i. Pre cum... Knowing my luck its those ones that'll get me lol

@Luxoire I had a terrible migraine I think it was 2 days after I stopped my pill. Totally knocked me for six, but it was the only one I had which I was relieved about.
I had lots of period type pains though- one day it was so painful I was in tears. Strong painkillers helped though. Get some in ready if you can!

Although having said this, the firs time around I had no symptoms when I stopped my pill! So weird

@PieAndPumpkins my period came as I was about to go into the 4th week, so fingers crossed yours comes soon too.

Well my Ovia app was bang on. 28 day cycle full flow AF today. Ah well I guess I can drink now in Paris. Enjoy your bank holiday ladies X

We had the same discussion re. Dtd when not quite ready for ttc. Since I wanted to wait for my first proper af and timing wise want to wait, we were planning on using condoms but tbh...hubs has been working away so not needed to worry about it lol. He mentioned dtd tonight and if we do I think we'll just go for it tbh, I dont think I'll conceive now anyway as pretty sure I ovulated already. I said to him, what if we get pregnant and his reply was 'is that not the point?!' Lol.
Ohhh @wannabemum38 I'm sorry AF showed up...shes a cow!! Just go off and enjoy your holiday now without even thinking about ttc or symptom spotting, then come back all fresh for next month. I feel like next month is our month girls!! xxx

@Happygirl86 I am so drugged up its unbelievable..i came back with a temprtature and flu sp uaing day and night nurse too...plus have some migraleave for the migraines..the nausea seems better today so I have had breakfast but have that funny taste in my mouth u get when your not well...ahhh... I havent hit the belly cramps yet..hopefully that waits until after the migraines subside..although i aleays get migraines gor a week before AF since I had my second ..the stopping of the pill seems to have brought it on earlier..so I am expecting it to last a week at least

@MrsSkr girl its so hard teying to dtd with the condom when all he complains about is that it doesnt feel same and its different.. I'm layimg there thinking i have 2 months kf this to go through...heaven help me ..is this worth the baby and weight gain amd hormkes and migraines now lol.. I am terrible. Lol...i think we might just stop the condoms and ttc early. If he carries on like this... I already got 2 kids i cant be dealing with the nagging when all I want is a good shag and sleep..sorry tmi

Anyone recommend any good brand of condoms or lube? Help a sister out before I have a june baby instead of an august baby!!

@Luxoire Oh God, it sounds terrible, you're having a rough time of it. I have suffered from headaches and migraines since puberty and have headaches most days, it can be so debilitating! The only time iv ever gone without was when I was pregnant so looking forward to that again 🤞🤞
Hopefully he will get over it, just tell him it's with a condom or not at all...he might realise its better than nothing lol and maybe in time he'll get used to it. Like you say, it's not forever. Sorry I'm no help, we've never really needed to worry as iv always had the coil xx

I'm now 5 DPO and still having some odd light cramping. Got soooooooooo long to wait before I can test haha

@luxoire weeeeell, there's a risk yeah, but I think the statistics suggest a reasonable level of protection, especially if you natural plan with your cycle alongside it. Condoms are a no go with my dh too lol
Sorry you're sick though! Migraines are the worst!

It really annoys me how blokes complain about condoms......like it's all about them! (Lots of eye rolling on my behalf!) haha

I'm now 9dpo other than feeling like AF was coming the other day and the odd boob twinge I havnt had anything.

Oh god, I'm so jealous of some of you, being so close to testing! I got my first bfp at 14dpo but was testing from 9 lol. Got my second at 12 dpo. Excited for you xx

@MrsSkr it's so hard not to test 🤦🏻‍♀️ I tested earlier just incase as I'm of to a beer festival today so don't want to be drinking if so but bfn, I'm going to try hold out until AF shows or not next weekend now.

@Destiny25 Oh enjoy the beer festival! It is so hard not to test, I have no willpower at all. I done a test the other day just for 'fun' even though i knew there was absolutely no chance! Just waiting on AF now, likely due in a week 1/2 or 2 weeks. Then we are going for it xx

I don't think a faint line is anything to worry about, I took one the other day and had a second line still faintly there. Your progesterone goes up after you ovulate so it could be the hormones from that.
