Anyone in the same boat? I'm 33 and from next week DH and I will be actively trying for #1. I'm excited, nervous, trying to be chill about it all but also imagining myself with a bump celebrating Xmas this year Grin

I started taking SS 'trying for a baby' supplements 4 weeks ago, not sure if it was their effects or not but this month my cycle was 20 days. Otherwise i'm 27 days always. Anyways, let's see what happens.

Hoping to find some pals in a similar place at the moment on here!

@Positivity2019 loads of women don’t get the static smiley and still get pregnant so fingers crossed for you x
@Ellsbells112 any updates? Hope you’re having a fabulous time in Oz
So I’ve an update, tested this morning and got my BFP!!! Can’t believe it! I’m due on tomorrow and caved this morning, was convinced it would be negative but there was a tiny hope as I’d had sensitive nipples which I never get and some stretching strange pains on Sunday, but i’d also had af cramps so was thrown. Anyway it’s there! Just got a long wait to see if all’s ok, I’m 37 this coming March so know the risk of mc increases. Looks like I will have to fake drink this xmas!
Sending you all positive vibes xxx

Han1213 · 18/12/2019 10:39

Wohoooooo!!!! Congratulations. Great news xxx

Wearenotyourkind · 18/12/2019 11:54

Brilliant news @AAJJ83 congratulations!!!!!!

Positivity2019 · 18/12/2019 16:58

@AAJJ83 ohhhh wow that is fantastic news. What an amazing Christmas present for you guys.

AAJJ83 · 18/12/2019 18:06

Thanks all. Still in shock! Feel like I’ve forgotten everything I ever knew about being pregnant! X

Wearenotyourkind · 23/12/2019 21:48

How's everyone doing? I'm 1DPO today and hoping Christmas can distract me from the TWW...

Positivity2019 · 24/12/2019 01:34

@Wearenotyourkind fingers crossed for you. When is your AF due? I am due this Saturday. Not got clue really if I am or aren’t expecting. Had some cramping last week, a bit like period cramping. That was for a day and I was certain AF was coming way early but nothing came of it. It went away. BBT is still up some and I’ve been feeling nauseous on and off. Other than that nothing else to report. We are in Iceland for Xmas so I won’t be testing until we get home on Saturday evening if AF hasn’t arrived that day.

Wakemeupwithcoffee · 24/12/2019 07:20

Hello all. So nice to hear of a bfp @AAJJ83 ! Congratulations, what a nice Christmas present! I really wish the rest of you luck for the coming year. You lot go to some amazing places Australia and Iceland! All going well here I feel back to ‘normal’ no longer exhausted and feeling sick. We have our 20 week scan in the new year so just hope all okay with that. Life is so busy especially this time of year we can’t imagine how we’ll cope with another but sure it’ll all work out! Hope you all have a lovely Christmas with your families! 🎄

Positivity2019 · 24/12/2019 10:26

@Wakemeupwithcoffee so glad to hear you are doing well. 20 weeks nearly already, that’s very exciting. You will be fine hinge they are here, of course you will. Have a great Christmas.

Positivity2019 · 24/12/2019 23:35

So AF decided to show her miserable face this afternoon three days early. Absolutely gutted to say the least. Hope you all get some better news in the coming days/weeks. I am back to day bloody 1.

Wearenotyourkind · 24/12/2019 23:42

Oh mate, this sucks ☹️ this journey can be so bloody shit sometimes. Be kind to yourself 💖

Positivity2019 · 25/12/2019 18:50

@Wearenotyourkind thanks, was very kind last night by way of food and drink. Feeling more positive today and aiming for a doc appointment in the new year to maybe check things are all ok.

Wearenotyourkind · 28/12/2019 19:10

How are you feeling @Positivity2019? Keep your chin up

Positivity2019 · 28/12/2019 23:28

Not too bad @Wearenotyourkind. Home from Iceland today and it’s the final day of AF so now the work begins again. I’m taking a different approach from now on though. New year, new tactic. I think I’m going to stop the OPK’s and simply wear my Ava, aim to DTD every other day and focus on some other things along with TTC. My partner and I would both like to get fitter and healthier and we might as well give this our all as it will help the TTC. I also think the stress of all the disappointment isn’t helping either.
So I’ll get a doc app and relax a little about it all over the next few months and see what happens.
How are you? Hope you and everyone had a fantastic Xmas period and can continue to enjoy the new year. Let’s all keep up the positivity for 2020 bumps.

Wearenotyourkind · 31/12/2019 11:16

Hi all. Lovely to hear your positivity @Positivity2019. It helps me too.

An update from me - AF turned up last night/this morning. Still a bit concerned as my LP was again only 8/9 days. This month I'm going to try Agnus Castus, vitamin c & b6 and CB OPKs.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

Positivity2019 · 31/12/2019 12:08

@Wearenotyourkind Agnus Castus seems to keep coming up time and time again and I think I might try some too.

Wearenotyourkind · 31/12/2019 12:08

How long is your LP @Positivity2019?

Positivity2019 · 01/01/2020 18:12

My cycle lengths vary so much at the moment @Wearenotyourkind. I’ve had 8/9/11 days. One cycle was 18 days long and my period came 2 days after my supposed ovulation. Last cycle was 10 days the one before that was 9 days.

Han1213 · 01/01/2020 22:39

Happy New Year everyone!
My boobs have been killing all day. Wondering if it’s due to press ups or something else. They feel really heavy and sore all round the sides x

Positivity2019 · 02/01/2020 23:08

@Han1213 Happy New Year to you and others in this thread. Where are you in your cycle? Sore boobs is a good sign but you’re right it can be so many things.

Han1213 · 02/01/2020 23:42

Day 22. They’re still achy today but not as sore as yesterday. Definitely not getting my hopes up as could be different things! X

Ellsbells112 · 04/01/2020 17:16

@Positivity2019 @Wearenotyourkind @AAJJ83 hey guys and a big congrats to @AAJJ83 for your bfp!! Wonderful way to start 2020

Sorry I haven't been on much, obvi with oz etc was busy. So I could not believe what happened I NEVER bleed before af is due and the bleed totally looked like implantation but no, it stopped and started for 3 days or so and then the day af was due it came super heavy and awful for gods sake. Absolutely fuming I was so sure it was my month I was super constipated and everything ffs. Sick of this 😣 anyway! I've been doing my temps and I know I definitely ovulated on cd15 (Monday) only managed to dtd Friday prior (I was getting ewcm) and on the Monday itself. (had my spike in temperature the Tuesday) don't know if we really did enough this month but was super hoping the holiday would help! 5dpo and nothing to tell yet.
But! My sister gave me her prescription of letrozole you take it for 5 days and apparently makes your eggs go crazy lol! So I will take it next month if nothing this month. I only have enough for one month! I also have forms for a blood test to be done.

How are you all? I hope we get our bfps soon! X

AAJJ83 · 04/01/2020 17:53

Nice to hear from you @ellsbells112 hope you had a fab time in Oz! Happy new year to all!
Not been on here much myself, been super ill, lots of nausea horrid taste in my mouth the exhaustion! I forgot about all of this....struggling a bit. I’m only just over 6 weeks and I don’t recall the sickness starting this early.
Hope Jan is the lucky month for all you lovely ladies, fingers and toes crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

TurquoiseKiss · 05/01/2020 16:34

Hi all, I haven't checked-in here for a while but often think of everybody who responded to my original post! AAJJ83 I'm thrilled for you! Hope Jan 2020 is a lucky month for everyone. I am 23 weeks tomorrow, so far, so good!

TK xx

Glad all going well for you @TurquoiseKiss

I totally sympathise @AAJJ83 having not long gone out of the other end of the feeling ill. It doesn’t last forever rest as much as you can (not easy if you already have children!).

We had a bereavement over the holidays so it’s been a sad and difficult time.

In better news, all was well at the 20 week scan and it’s a boy 💙😁
