Anyone in the same boat? I'm 33 and from next week DH and I will be actively trying for #1. I'm excited, nervous, trying to be chill about it all but also imagining myself with a bump celebrating Xmas this year Grin

I started taking SS 'trying for a baby' supplements 4 weeks ago, not sure if it was their effects or not but this month my cycle was 20 days. Otherwise i'm 27 days always. Anyways, let's see what happens.

Hoping to find some pals in a similar place at the moment on here!

Hey guys!! Updateeeeee today had a little cramping that left, still have ache on my right side and felt super emotional today along with another headache! Anyway...about 30 mins ago had a really reay sharp pain where my dull ache is, literally took my breath away for maybe 10 seconds, now it feels tender and when I wee theres a slight orange tint to the toilet paper, like literally tinest smidgen...anyway obviously it's either IB or it's my period starting so I'll keep you guys updated! I cant help but think what a cruel joke it would be for the sharp pain to be my period when that's super unusual, but I will have to wait and see! X

Absa · 20/09/2019 15:20

AF is just cruel. 4 days late today, and then she arrives! I'm always regular so thought this month may possibly be MY month, but obviously not! Also just had an offer on a house rejected / we can't go any higher. RUBBISH day!

TurquoiseKiss · 20/09/2019 16:01

Thinking of you Absa (and f*ck off AF!) treat yourself to something nice to eat/drink/wear over the weekend.

Ellsbells112 sounds like really good signs! What would be the earliest you could test this month?

Hope everybody has a lovely weekend. DH and I are telling my parents tonight now i'm 7w + 2d (their first grandchild). More brown, snot-like (TMI, I know) discharge this afternoon but no cramping at all. Both GP and consultant who scanned me on Tues emphasised how normal it is so i'm getting better at keeping my anxieties at bay.

So sorry @Absa ☹️ Hang in there.

Ellsbells112 · 20/09/2019 16:23

@TurquoiseKiss I dont know, I'm guessing its implantation pain (also just had some brown discharge mucus looking stuff and then a really faint white pink colour spotting only when I wipe. No cramps, just tender, still with a little dull ache on the right. If it is implantation I'll have to wait a few days, i might try Sunday? Hopefully all is well and it sticks! Xxx

Wearenotyourkind · 20/09/2019 17:20

What a shit show @Absa keep your chin up.

Positivity2019 · 21/09/2019 11:52

@Absa sorry to hear about AF. Have an indulgent weekend of something amazing and positive thoughts for your next cycle.
@Ellsbells112 some exciting symptoms there possibly. I’m buzzing to hear your news whenever you do a test. Got everything crossed.
@Wearenotyourkind good luck with this fertile window. Got my fingers crossed for you.
@TurquoiseKiss hope you had a lovely evening last night sharing your news. I admit that is one of the things I look forward to the most, sharing my BFP news with my parents.
@Wakemeupwithcoffee hope your keeping well.
Everyone else hope your good and have a great weekend!!

Positivity2019 · 21/09/2019 22:57

Well that’s me out too. Sat in the cinema just now and could feel AF cramping away. Went to the toilet and there it is. Deflated.

AlmostAlwyn · 22/09/2019 06:56

Sorry to hear about AF @Absa and @Positivity2019. Take some time to look after yourselves and fingers crossed for next month Flowers

Ellsbells112 · 22/09/2019 08:37

@Positivity2019 I'm so sorry to hear that ❤ it's really shit 😓 my spotting yesterday got heavier than spotting but not a period flow so I'm really confused. No cramps at all, just the sharp pain in my side before the spotting started on friday afternoon, which was tender in the morning yesterday and then nothing, just heavier than spotting blood, today its lighter. Felt sick last night I had to go to bed. Urgh even my OH is worried now and that takes alot LOL because it's just like wtf is going on??
I'm trying not to hold onto hope, personally I know my body so I feel like its either implanted or it tried to implant. Either way I guess I'll find out on a few days

Hope everyone is ok x

Wakemeupwithcoffee · 22/09/2019 09:31

So sorry to hear that @Positivity2019 😞 fingers crossed for next month.

Wakemeupwithcoffee · 22/09/2019 09:33

@Ellsbells112 are you not tempted to take a test?

Nausea has ramped up a bit here and been really tired and into bed early last two nights.

Ellsbells112 · 22/09/2019 09:38

@wakemeupwithcoffee everything online says that if it is implantation bleeding then it will only show on a test a few days afterwards so I'm going to wait 2-3 days after the bleeding has stopped to test!

Aww those symptoms make it all the more real though dont they 😁🎊🎉❤

Wearenotyourkind · 24/09/2019 20:34

Hi gang. Does anyone else never seem to get positive OPKs? I test from CD11 as seem to have a 28 day cycle, but still yet to get a positive. We are obvs DTD around the predicted fertile window anyway, but just wondered if anyone else has this?

Positivity2019 · 24/09/2019 21:00

Hi hi folks, @Ellsbells112 how are things? Are you thinking to test soon or have you tested.
@Wearenotyourkind I used OPK last cycle and only got flashing smilies, never got a solid one. However my Ava bracelet confirmed ovulation.

Coming to the end of this period thankfully so I can get into the positive mind frame for the coming fertile period.

Wearenotyourkind · 24/09/2019 21:17

Interesting 🤔 I think if I'm not successful this month, I'll give up on OPKs next month as not really gaining anything from using them currently. I need to focus more on DTD than POAS!

Ellsbells112 · 25/09/2019 08:14

@Positivity2019 I'm out I think. I went to the docs and explained the things that happened, she sent me a&e because she thought the sharp pain I had was either ectopic or ovarian cyst. Anyway, the doc at a&e was really dismissive. But what did shock me was I didn't tell him I actually niscarried last month and he said he suspected i miscarried last month and now my body is trying to sort itself out and that's why I had the weird blood flow and apparently the sharp pain I had right before the blood flow didn't relate to the spotting? I'm a bit confused about all that but whatever lol. My gp did say if they dont give me a scan to come back to her and she will refer me for one, just in case, because even when she felt where the pain in my right side was it really ached after.

Wakemeupwithcoffee · 25/09/2019 21:10

@Ellsbells112 I would def get a scan if you can. Hope you are coping ok.

@Wearenotyourkind I only did the OPKs 2 months, one I got a definite positive, the second I didn’t but thinking about it that’s the one I got pregnant on so I obviously did ovulate?! I think I had a friend who had a blood test to check she was ovulating - maybe you could see if they could do that for you if you keep having trouble.

Wakemeupwithcoffee · 29/09/2019 21:16

Hi I wondered how everyone was getting on? Are you in the 2ww @Wearenotyourkind? Anyone else? How are you @Ellsbells112?

I am having mood swings and into bed before 9 some nights. I’ve been to the gp who was lovely and gave me a prescription for the hyperemesis meds and said I should get it so I have it if I need it so that has really helped me feel less worried but no vomiting yet which is great!

Ellsbells112 · 29/09/2019 21:27

@wakemeupwithcoffee I'm good thank you, getting a scan at the end of the week but everything seems to have settled down, probably was an ovarian cyst thankfully.

Glad you haven't had vomiting yet! I'm about 3 or 4 days away from ovulating so starting the BD from today! Lol how are you? Hows everyone?

Wearenotyourkind · 30/09/2019 10:06

Glad you got the hyperemesis meds @Wakemeupwithcoffee. With any luck, you won't need them 🤞🏻 I am supposedly in the TWW, but I still haven't had a positive OPK. I got a low result yesterday (am uploading the pics to premom). So will test again later and see if it's any stronger. I'm now CD21 though, so who knows what going on 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hope everyone else is doing okay?

Ellsbells112 · 30/09/2019 10:59

@Wearenotyourkind I know that some months it can happen that you dont ovulate at all? Which is super annoying, I'm waiting to get a positive too but I think mine will happen nearer to the end of this week hopefully. Fx for you

Charlottethevet · 30/09/2019 19:35

Hi there everyone :) I'm 28 years old and have come off the Progesterone only pill today so that we can try for baby #1 :O Very excited. Just reading up on supplements to take whilst ttc :)

Nice to meet you all

Positivity2019 · 30/09/2019 21:00

Hi everyone, been super busy and not managed to get on here. @Ellsbells112 sorry to hear all the goings on with you, hope things settle down for you and you can get into a new cycle.
@Wearenotyourkind OPK’s are pretty frustrating I think, I’m not going to use them this month. Aiming to do SMEP to the letter this month, on day 9 so it’s a rest day. Going to DTD every other day until Ava gives me a peak fertility reading and then go every day then skip a day and go one more time. Fingers crossed that’ll do it. Anyway hoping this is your month.
@Wakemeupwithcoffee hope your fine and keeping well. Hope everyone else is good too.

Wearenotyourkind · 30/09/2019 21:12

Welcome @Charlottethevet

Thanks @Positivity2019 and @Ellsbells112 I did another OPK tonight at CD21 and was higher than yesterday but still not yet positive (but DTD anyway). Had loads of EWCM today too. Will see what happens tomorrow.
