TWW buddies 1DPO today

Carysmatic · 19/06/2019 11:55

Hey, I thought I'd start a new group for TWW as I'm just 1DPO and I felt like I was a bit late to jump on the other TWW groups

TTC #1
1DPO
Age 29
Cycle #3 of TTC
Cycle length 27-30 days (usually bang on 28 though)
CD 15
BFP/AF due 2-3rd June

I actually managed to pin point my LH surge this month with opks, I used one step and CB digits and got a solid smiley on CD 13 and then my bbt temp spike this morning putting O day at some point yesterday. Me and DH DTD CD 6, 8, 12, 13 and 15 so hope that we're in with a good chance this month.

Anyone welcome to join me for the dreaded TWW to symptom spot and try and convince each other not to test too early 🙈

@Bezalelle perhaps the HCG levels aren't that high in your urine yet, you're not out until AF arrives xx

Took a CB early response this morning and BFN Sad

Bezalelle · 07/07/2019 06:26

I've just tested too - FRER. Also BFN, but still no AF. So frustrating!

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 07/07/2019 06:49

Sorry to hear it @bezalelle. You're not out til AF arrives though! Flowers

Carysmatic · 07/07/2019 09:14

@Namechangeymcnamechange11 @Bezalelle sorry about your BFNs ladies, don't give up hope until AF arrives, you're not out yet. Thanks

Thanks @Carysmatic

I'm actually thinking of going to the doctor tomorrow. If it turns out that I'm not pg, there must be something weird going on for me to have been nauseous for the past 3 week, backaches, sore boobs etc.

How are you doing? And @Hayd88 and @Namechangeymcnamechange11?

Hayd88 · 07/07/2019 15:52

Still crossing my fingers for you @Bezalelle - very strange about your symptoms and no AF but negatives....

I'm ok. Trying to look forward to trying again next time. Planning on keeping busy and doing things for me! Maybe I'll create a new thread for us 😊

Carysmatic · 07/07/2019 16:37

So I ended up calling in sick to work after having a totally ridiculous break down earlier. Man these hormones suck and this is like the most heavy painful bleed I have ever experienced. My DH has been working all weekend so I've literally been dealing with this alone and hit me hard today. I know chemical pregnancies are really common but finding it harder than I thought. I thought I had accepted it yesterday but today the cramps have been so painful and I'm an emotional wreck with these hormones as well as still feeling nauseous and having the worlds worst headache. Sorry if I'm moaning or being pathetic but just feeling fragile today 😔

Hayd88 · 07/07/2019 19:45

Ohhhh @Carysmatic you poor thing. The hormones are unreal. And the cramps are so hard. It's tough even if it's common, it doesn't make it easier for anyone. I promise you'll feel better soon xx

flossy12 · 07/07/2019 20:40

AF due tomorrow and having a real down day 🙁🙁 hope everyone else is being a bit more positive than me!

I know it can take months and I've always thought I might take a while as never had any 'accidents' even when missing the pill or coil dislodging etc, but the realisation of 2 months and no BFP is really getting me down today,

Could also be the fact OH hasn't had contact with DS for 12 days so we're missing him

Bezalelle · 07/07/2019 23:05

@Carysmatic that sounds awful. Hope you're feeling a bit better.

@Hayd88 definitely start a new thread!

I think I'm out for this month. Started cramping and spotting this evening - bright red blood. Surely it wouldn't be implantation this far after ovulation. AF five days late, so it's more likely to be that. In any case, I am calling the GP tomorrow about this nausea I've had for the past nearly three weeks.

To be quite honest, I'm gutted. DP and I have been talking about "the baby" over the past few days, and I'm dreading telling him about the spotting when he gets home later. I know he'll say it's fine, and we can try again next month, and the timing will be better if we don't conceive for another few cycles. But even still. I really wanted to be pregnant.

Carysmatic · 08/07/2019 00:05

@Bezalelle spotting in early pregnancy isn't too uncommon, maybe you ovulated later than you thought? Is that possible? Fx for you 🤞🏻

@bezalelle and @carysmatic - sorry to hear it Flowers it's a good job you had the time off carysmatic - take the time to recover.

AF has arrived this morning, bang on time Sad I know I had the BFN yesterday, but a bit gutted all the same Sad

Hayd88 · 08/07/2019 07:10

@Namechangeymcnamechange11 @Bezalelle I'm so sorry, not great news for either of you, such a letdown. @Bezalelle that is totally normal to think ahead when you've got a late AF and pg symptoms. I had already told my mum and worked out the due date and everything. It's heartbreaking xxx

Take time out all of you. I'm also taking today and tomorrow off work @Carysmatic . Don't rush back! It's normal to feel this emotional and hormonal.

I will start a new thread....Starting over in July??

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 08/07/2019 07:59

I shall join you in July Brew

Carysmatic · 08/07/2019 16:01

Sorry to hear this @Namechangeymcnamechange11 we'll all be in the same boat next month.
I'm the same as you @Hayd88 worked out due date and already spoken to my mum about it. It's hard because for like a day I was pregnant and you can't help getting ahead of yourself.
Any news @Bezalelle ? Still spotting or is it really AF?
DH away all day again today and I'm just keeping busy, I swear my house has never looked so tidy!
@Hayd88 did you see your doctor about your CP? I don't know if I should let my GP know or not? X

Bezalelle · 09/07/2019 09:51

Hi all.

After two days of intermittent light spotting (faint pink when I wiped), I'm bleeding a lot heavier today - red blood. AF seems to have arrived, six days late. This means my cycle has been 33 days instead of my usual 28.

I'm now wondering whether it was all psychosomatic - the aversion to drinking tea, the nausea. Perhaps I want this so much that my mind subconsciously convinced my body.

On the up side, with having a longer cycle this month, my next fertile window should coincide with visiting DP. I'm telling myself that I won't think about it and worry so much this month. Not sure that will actually happen though! I will definitely join a new thread if there is one.

Love and good vibes to all x

Sunflower2019 · 09/07/2019 19:26

Hey everyone,
Do you mind if I join? I’ve been following your thread..
I have a dd who’s 11, and had a cp 2 months ago, I went back on the pill after as I was so devastated, I’m now fresh off the pill and not tracking anything but I guess it’s the dreaded 2ww... or more who knows!!!
I’m 32... trying to think if it happens it happens, and it will at some point I’m sure!
It’s all so scary but exciting... I’ve tried a couple of ovulation strips but not sure if they are any good... but don’t want to obsess too much over it, which is hard!! Flowers

Hayd88 · 10/07/2019 14:31

@Bezalelle I'm really sorry to hear that hun. That's really hard when you had such symptomsZ have you been to the doctor?

@Sunflower2019 yes welcome! We may move to a new thread for July but am just working up the energy....

@Carysmatic how are you doing? I've had a pretty rubbish few days as am so hormonal and can't get out of my funk. I know I just need to get out and keep busy but it's easier to stay indoors 😞. I haven't been to the GP no, my Mum thinks I should? But not sure what they will be able to do or say, I haven't got many physical side effects left now so I presume I'm healthy and ready for my cycle to come back - I hope!

Big hugs to all xx

Hope42019 · 18/07/2019 17:02

Hi i am new to this and have never posted but really need some support i am in the 2ww and have just done a test at 7dp5dpt and it was bfn have beem in tears all day just feel like its all over and failed really could with some words of encpuragement right now :(

Carysmatic · 18/07/2019 17:48

Hey @Hope42019 are you 7dpo or 5dpo? Your post wasn't clear. Don't get yourself upset it's still really early days, you may not be out yet. 7dpo is probably too early to get a BFP. It's not unheard of but really rare. Give yourself about 4 more days and test again. But I'd try and hold out until your AF is due to test again if you can't. Is this your first cycle trying? X
