TWW buddies 1DPO today

Carysmatic · 19/06/2019 11:55

Hey, I thought I'd start a new group for TWW as I'm just 1DPO and I felt like I was a bit late to jump on the other TWW groups

TTC #1
1DPO
Age 29
Cycle #3 of TTC
Cycle length 27-30 days (usually bang on 28 though)
CD 15
BFP/AF due 2-3rd June

I actually managed to pin point my LH surge this month with opks, I used one step and CB digits and got a solid smiley on CD 13 and then my bbt temp spike this morning putting O day at some point yesterday. Me and DH DTD CD 6, 8, 12, 13 and 15 so hope that we're in with a good chance this month.

Anyone welcome to join me for the dreaded TWW to symptom spot and try and convince each other not to test too early 🙈

@Carysmatic that's really useful, thank you! Will definitely give that a try if we don't have any luck this month 😀

How many dpo are you at the moment? X

Carysmatic · 26/06/2019 11:03

@MrsG3 I'm 9dpo today and feeling pretty crap about it all right now. Convinced AF is on the way but still kinda torturing myself thinking every twinge or feeling could mean I'm pregnant. I'm determined not to test until at least 10dpo but going to put it off as long as possible.

@Carysmatic it's a really hard time isn't it. Trying to be positive and realistic all at the same time whilst feeling like it's the longest 2 weeks ever!! 🤞🏻 crossed for you when you do test. I think it's probably better to wait as long as you can but I know I find it so hard resisting the temptation to poas 🤣

Carysmatic · 26/06/2019 15:59

@MrsG3 thanks, so difficult to stay positive. I've been on the brink of tears all day 😂🙈 god help me.

Part of me wants to POAS, the other park it's desperately trying to resist the urge! Trying to keep busy

@Carysmatic sending a hug! Thank goodness we're all emotional wrecks in this together lol! Have you got anything nice planned this evening to distract you? Dd needs costume for her school play and ds has sports day tomorrow so needs kit sorting so that should keep me busy for a bit!

Carysmatic · 26/06/2019 17:24

@MrsG3 DH is taking me out to dinner, he knows I've been feeling a bit low today so he said he'd like to take me out for a date, so that'll be nice ☺️ I'm sure I'll be fine in the morning. I'm so glad I can talk to other people going through the same thing as me! Xx

Big hugs for everyone! We are all very emotional and feeling like we're going slightly insane together! Today I like a lunatic started searching for feeds from people who conceived without noticing any symptoms 🤣. Was actually a bit reassuring, reading that every pregnancy is different, including those where mothers had symptoms in one pregnancy and then none in another.

MrsG3 · 26/06/2019 17:45

@Carysmatic have a lovely evening 💕
@Hayd88 I had no symptoms at all with either my dd or my ds so it's totally possible!! First sign I was pregnant with both of them was when I was late. Even then I told dh that it was pointless doing a test as it was going to be negative anyway 🤣

Carysmatic · 26/06/2019 19:54

@Hayd88 I've been thinking about symptoms, like do women really experience pregnancy symptoms this early on in pregnancy, or is it women like us literally convincing ourselves that every twinge we feel is pregnancy related so that when we actually do get pregnant we've already convinced ourselves we have symptoms because we've been obsessively been looking for them, if that makes sense xx

Carysmatic · 27/06/2019 07:01

So I was going to POAS with FMU this morning but I just got up and peed and it wasn't until after I flushed that I realised I didn't test 😂 probably a good thing 10DPO today but I won't test now until I can test with FMU again so maybe tomorrow. I literally feel like AF is due today or tomorrow based on my symptoms but I'm not due for another 5 days as my cycles are very much 28 days and I'm CD 23 today. I really dunno what to think 🤷🏼‍♀️

Bezalelle · 27/06/2019 07:22

It's confusing, isn't it @Carysmatic? I'm feeling a bit AF-ish (bloated, ravenous, emotional) but I'm not due on for another 7 days.

Hayd88 · 27/06/2019 08:15

I'm due in 5 days too @Carysmatic - trying not to test until then.

I'm feeling nothing. No more bloating or cramping! Very emotional but that's normal for me at the moment 😂.

Sophieb15 · 27/06/2019 10:26

@carysmatic Try hold out until Saturday if you can then you be 12 DPO.

I'm 12 DPO today last 2 nights I've had bad cramping before I went to bed thinking I would wake and AF be there but no sign yet. Boobs still sore. I'm am going to be really strong this month and wait until I'm late to test (if AF doesn't arrive) I've had my normal backache which is an AF symptom for me so not very hopeful but I may get a surprise Smile

Carysmatic · 27/06/2019 13:06

@Bezalelle it's so difficult isn't it? I don't feel as emotional as I did yesterday and a little less crampy but I'm getting so fed up 😂

@Sophieb15 I know I've got to try and resist the urge to test but last nightwas real, I convinced myself to wait until this morning and then I totally forgot when I woke up

@Hayd88 I think we're all emotional in this darn TWW!

Sophieb15 · 27/06/2019 16:55

AF arrived for me good luck ladies x

Carysmatic · 27/06/2019 17:55

Sorry to hear this @Sophieb15 how many DPO are you? Is AF early? Xx

OP posts:
Hayd88 · 27/06/2019 19:15

Sorry @Sophieb15 I hope you're ok xxx next time for sure 🤞 x

Sophieb15 · 27/06/2019 20:44

@Carysmatic @Hayd88 thanks 😘

I'm 12 DPO so not really I was 13 DPO last month and 12 DPO the month before so fairly regular let hope month 6 is my month!

I hope ye get your BFPs 😘

Carysmatic · 27/06/2019 21:41

My symptoms are all pointing towards AF starting. I feel so much like I do every month in the days leading to AF starting, cramping has gotten more intense, starting to get heart burn, itchy nipples, nausea. These are all my normal symptoms of AF so feeling pretty bummed out 😔 like 99% sure I'm not PG this month.

OP posts:
Carysmatic · 28/06/2019 07:44

Tested this morning, you know just to torture myself, FRER and got a BFN

OP posts:
Hayd88 · 28/06/2019 08:21

Sorry @Carysmatic - I am the same, haven't tested but feel the same as I do every month before AF. I could cry but then I feel used to it now. Maybe keep each other company / somewhat sane this next cycle?!

Fingers crossed everyone for next week!

Rightnow1245 · 28/06/2019 09:46

Sorry to hear that Carysmatic how many Dpo are you? I’m 8dpo and haven’t got any signs either so think I’m out this month too 😬 I don’t get any signs that AF is coming!! AF is due 1st but that will only be 11dpo so if it doesn’t come I might hold out for the whole 14days! Let’s see if I stick to my word lol

Carysmatic · 28/06/2019 10:14

@Rightnow1245 I'm 11DPO and AF is due in 5days, I'm getting bad cramping, nausea, emotional. All
My normal AF signs but everything feels so early. Literally check every time I go to the loo as AF feels imminent, but I'm never early! Not 5 days early anyways! It's very confusing and misleading :(

OP posts:
Hayd88 · 28/06/2019 10:22

@Carysmatic that's funny you say that because I feel exactly like that today - like AF is very imminent (like right now!!) which is odd given I'm never 5 days early either. The crampy feeling is exactly the same as day 1 of AF. How odd!

Carysmatic · 28/06/2019 10:34

@Hayd88 I feel so sick I think that's the biggest thing for me. I often have nausea and vomiting day one of AF but never this much nausea in the lead up. I was chatting to DH about it and he was like "well maybe you're just coming on early" but I never do...my cycles are 27-29 days usually and most often they're 28, never 4-5days early I'm only CD 24 today
