TWW buddies 1DPO today

Hey, I thought I'd start a new group for TWW as I'm just 1DPO and I felt like I was a bit late to jump on the other TWW groups

Age 29
Cycle #3 of TTC
Cycle length 27-30 days (usually bang on 28 though)
CD 15
BFP/AF due 2-3rd June

I actually managed to pin point my LH surge this month with opks, I used one step and CB digits and got a solid smiley on CD 13 and then my bbt temp spike this morning putting O day at some point yesterday. Me and DH DTD CD 6, 8, 12, 13 and 15 so hope that we're in with a good chance this month.

Anyone welcome to join me for the dreaded TWW to symptom spot and try and convince each other not to test too early 🙈

@Carysmatic maybe you are pregnant?!? It's possible it's implantation-related? Not to get your hopes up but still. Sounds unusual?

@Hayd88 I really don't want to get my hopes up, the FRER this morning is so clearly a BFN, I will just have to see how the next few days pan out. Fx for you, we'll try and help get each other through this xx

Fingers crossed for you all, you're all a week or so ahead of me! It's amazing how slowly two weeks goes when you're waiting for this!!

Currently 8DPO, my cycles are still pretty long post MMC - looks like O occurred on CD21, we DTD on 19,20,21 & 23 and already the wait is horrid. I've convinced myself it hasn't happened this month.

I've read a lot about the frer tests, but what about the blue version of the opks, has anyone had much success with them? I tortured myself with one yest, BFN but it was always going to be. Have zero symptoms so wondering whether to have a rum and coke this Sunday when we're away camping. Then again, I know I'll probably abstain - 'just in case'

Hayd88 and Carysmatic you could Defo still be in with a chance then! Don’t get to dishearten and hopefully it was just to early! I didn’t get a BFP until I was six with my son 😊

We are the same 8dpo, when are you going to POAS?

@Rightnow1245 we're going away Sunday, but only for a night camping in west wales but we have a hot tub (luxury!) but I don't think one of the early strips would show a result this early.

I've no idea really how early they show results. I've read a lot about false negatives but don't want to get my hopes up! I'm off work next week on leave so we're going to be doing lots of bits and pieces to keep busy - opted for staycations this year to save for a family - so we've got another night away next weds, maybe I'll test before we go - if I can hold out that long?!! (I highly doubt it!!)

Hi ladies! 12DPO today, AF due on July 1 but just had some pink spotting. I don’t normally come on early so it’s strange. Not sure when implantation bleed can happen. Not having any symptoms though This TWW seems to have lasted forever!

@Rightnow1245 until you were six what? Six days late? I'm trying not to be disheartened but struggling today. I'm at work all day tomorrow so hopefully I'll be nice and distracted.

Welcome @Tashdreams sorry about your MMC I'm not sure the IC are as sensitive as the FRER tests, I dunno about false negatives, can only hope. I'm now not going to test again until after AF is due.

Tashdreams Yeah you are right it probably won’t show this early! I’m going to wait because I’m being tight and dont want to buy Any test 😬

Moongirl10 Welcome 😊😊 AF is also due for me on the 1st but I’ll only be 11dpo by that point.. I’ll probably wait a few days if AF is late.

Carysmatic sorry I wasn’t clear! I was 6 weeks pregnant before I got a positive test! So It’s Defo early days for you 😊😊

Oh wow @Rightnow1245 you didn't get a positive until 6weeks? That's mad, I bet you were going crazy with the not knowing. That kinda gives me hope yet. I've been feeling so nauseous today, and still getting dull cramping sessions, as well as a lot of milky white CM. I'm driving myself a bit insane with it all. I've got a 13hour shift at work tomorrow which I'm actually looking forward to so it'll take my mind off it all!

Rightnow1245 - only 5 DPO as of today. I think. I did"t manage to catch the LH surge though as I was only testing once per day so not certain.

So I caved and took a test - BFN. Don't know why I'm surprised or why I do it to myself!

@Moongirl10 I think implantation bleeding can come on quite late apparently, like 10-12 dpo? So perhaps that's what it is, especially if it's only spotting and not bright red? Fingers crossed it's a good sign for you!!

Hi everyone sorry I've been quiet, been nice and busy at work which has taken my mind off things. Did another ic this morning and felt like I possibly saw something, so just did another, same again. So I convinced dh to let me have access to the secret stash of frer and got this 😬

So again I guess that spotting the past couple of days was implantation, like last month. Saying that though I'm not letting myself get as excited as last month until I'm a couple of weeks late. Af due today, last month I think I held on for a week past AF before MC... 🤞

@Moongirl10 I'm hopeful on your spotting - especially if you don't usually before af arrives (I usually do for a couple of days before af which is why it confuses me!)

@Hayd88 how many DPO are you? You aren't out until af arrives remember 😊

Congratulations on your BFP @satsumasaturday fingers crossed for you this month that this one sticks.

No AF for me yet though I'm still getting some nausea and increase sense of smell. No more cramping today, and less cramping yesterday than the day before. Feeling very emotional today, keep getting teary. Could be AF related but Fx it's not. AF due in 3days but symptoms are still so early.

How's everyone else getting on?

So Friday I had really dull cramps all day and yesterday I was so incredibly bloated, felt sick, and needed a nap at 2pm. I could have fallen asleep sitting up! I also started getting increased CM so convinced myself ever so slightly that I could be pregnant. Took a FRER test this morning and that proved me wrong!

Then this morning I felt the worst most irrational anger and irritation towards my husband, I was raging about the tiniest of things, it was awful! I felt blinded by the anger!?

So who knows - this all prob sounds like PMS to you but it's weird, I never feel this way leading up to it, only on the day of / next day after AF starts.

Bit sad FRER was BFN given how sensitive they are! Oh well - AF due on Tue so I'm still hoping.

@Hayd88 the problem is that the hormone that causes PMS is an increase in progesterone, the hormone that causes early pregnancy symptoms is an increase in progesterone....so it's really hard to distinguish between symptoms. FRER day they can detect up to 6 days before your missed period, though I really guess it depends when you ovulated and when potential implantation took place.

Thanks @Carysmatic @Hayd88 I'm feeling ok, I keep reading into stuff that I don't know if I'd have noticed if I hadn't got my bfp iyswim. I felt a bit nauseous this morning, but then wolfed down a lot of bread and baked beans for breakfast (unlike me - I was eating as if i was hungover, but I definitely wasn't!!). I'm exhausted now considering I've not done anything. But I can't tell if that's because I'm pregnant or it's just a lazy Sunday!

One thing I have noticed is that my skin has become incredibly greasy. Now that I'm thinking about it that also happened last month and continued for about a week after mc, so maybe that's linked to pregnancy hormones? Who knows! But it's very gross...

12/13dpo here and had this- felt horrendously sick yesterday to the point I had to lie down and slept from 7pm to 7am!

@Lammoshay that looks promising, maybe wait a few days and test again with a FRER.

Yes will do, have a feel AF is on her way though more so that me actually getting a positive. Had some cramp twinges which are pretty similar to AF ones x

@hayd88 - I get where you're coming from, had full on rage on Friday evening I think my body must be getting used to hormones again after BF. I'm normally a chilled out person

How early can you realistically use a FRER?

Three nice BFNs for me this morning. Boo.

I'm either 15DPO or 12DPO depending on whether I believe my own body or the Flo app!

Not due AF until Thursday, so will wait and test again if AF doesn't show her annoying face.
