TWW buddies 1DPO today

Carysmatic · 19/06/2019 11:55

Hey, I thought I'd start a new group for TWW as I'm just 1DPO and I felt like I was a bit late to jump on the other TWW groups

TTC #1
1DPO
Age 29
Cycle #3 of TTC
Cycle length 27-30 days (usually bang on 28 though)
CD 15
BFP/AF due 2-3rd June

I actually managed to pin point my LH surge this month with opks, I used one step and CB digits and got a solid smiley on CD 13 and then my bbt temp spike this morning putting O day at some point yesterday. Me and DH DTD CD 6, 8, 12, 13 and 15 so hope that we're in with a good chance this month.

Anyone welcome to join me for the dreaded TWW to symptom spot and try and convince each other not to test too early 🙈

@Bezalelle I was full on raging on Tuesday day before AF due as well as being super emotional. Bit DHs head off as he made an insensitive comment about me being moody because of the time of the month. I went ballistic at him! So odd all my symptoms have really pointed at AF but here I am two days late and a faint BFP, so don't rule yourself out yet, I was positive I was out this month. Been super emotional today, keep welling up and getting all teary!

Thanks @Carysmatic. I am going between feeling really happy, and wanting to cry! I haven't had any spotting, which I usually get a couple of days before AF is due. If I haven't come on by Saturday, I'll take a test on Sat morning.

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 05/07/2019 07:00

@bezalelle how many days late are you? Personally I'd tell him through excitement Grin
@carysmatic - perfectly justified to bite his head off in those circumstances. That was a tad insensitive Confused

Contemplating seeing if the supermarket by my work sells FRERs this morning. Due AF Monday but feeling faintly nauseous this morning and haven't peed yet today.
The only thing stopping me doing it for definite at the moment is the fact that I'm almost sure I'm out because we only managed to DTD 3 days before ovulation. Which I know isn't entirely out, but is unlikely I think, plus the expense of the tests 🤔
I just need to motivate myself to wait until Monday for AF or not AF Grin

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 05/07/2019 07:02

Oh and I got really emotional over seeing some videos of nieces school performances yesterday 🤦

Carysmatic · 05/07/2019 07:35

@Namechangeymcnamechange11 it's so difficult, I tested on Friday last week when AF wasnt due for another 4 days and got a BFN, and then went on to get only a very faint line yesterday once AF was actually late, so if you test early you may still get a negative and you'll only end up upsetting yourself like I did. I was totally convinced I was out. So I'd try and wait if you can, I know that's easier said than done. I'm feeling very nauseous this morning 🤢 still getting dull ache in my lower abdomen, kinda crampy but not as strong as AF cramps. I'm hoping that's a good sign, lots and lots of CM too which again I'm hoping is good. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

Morning all.

I'm one day late today. Haven't tested yet. I told DP last night that I've been getting symptoms, and haven't got AF yet. He was tentatively happy, and said I should test this morning. However, I completely forgot to collect FMU when I woke up.

Weirdly, in the middle of the night I woke up with really bad cramps. They almost took my breath away, and I was about wake DP but it eventually stopped. It didn't feel like AF cramps - it was more of a stabbing feeling under my belly button. Never had anything like that before.

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 05/07/2019 09:21

@carysmatic, that's ace, sounding really positive for you Flowers
I resisted, mostly because I'd be really hacked off with myself to pee on £10 for nothing if AF arrives on Monday when we're trying to save/pay down our mortgage!

flossy12 · 05/07/2019 09:59

@Bezalelle maybe try and hold your wee today? 4hours is normally sufficient to get a result?

Bezalelle · 05/07/2019 10:50

@flossy12 - I might try that. Thanks!

Carysmatic · 05/07/2019 11:36

@Bezalelle sounds quite promising, I'd be cautious about stabbing pains as could be an ectopic, so look out for more symptoms if you get any more pains that are worsening and more to one side. Are you usually like clockwork for AF because a day late sounds promising!

Hayd88 · 05/07/2019 12:06

Hi ladies. I wish you all the luck in your BFPs and pregnancies! Sadly it wasn't my time. Today I've started bleeding heavily with terrible pain. I don't even know if they can call it a miscarriage this early on but I guess it was just a chemical pregnancy. So I'm out for now but maybe see a few of you on here in the future, although I hope you ALL get the news you've been hoping for! Baby dust to you all xxxxx

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 05/07/2019 12:46

@hayd88 - so sorry to hear your news Flowers huge hugs for you, your time will definitely come.
I hope you have something for the pain to help youFlowers Cake

Carysmatic · 05/07/2019 14:02

@Hayd88 sorry to hear this, fingers crossed for you for next cycle 🤞🏻Thanks

I'm really concerned I've had a chemical, I just took a clear blue digi test and it was a BFN, so I'm now feeling really confused. I've hardly had any cramping today but I've still not had AF and am now 3/4days late, and had the two positive FRER yesterday, unless the HCG just isn't at a high enough level to be detected yet for the CB digi? I'm now left feeling really deflated and confused. Seeing those words "not pregnant" was a bit of a slap in the face, especially as I'd kinda convinced myself I was because of missing AF and positive FRER

OP posts:
Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 06/07/2019 07:28

Oh no @carysmatic. Maybe it's just not high enough to be picked up on the CB? FRERs are so much more sensitive 🤔 especially as AF hasn't arrived for you 🤔

flossy12 · 06/07/2019 09:17

BFN today, just going to wait for AF on the 8th now, suppose I'm not completely out till then x

Carysmatic · 06/07/2019 10:24

So last night I started spotting and then today it's gotten heavier. It's not like my normal AF it's kind of mucusie with lots of clots. I'm fairly certain it's a very early chemical. Feeling pretty gutted as I was so hopeful when I got the second line on those FRER tests and AF being late but I guess this month wasn't meant to be. How are you getting on @Hayd88 ? Because I know you're going through the same thing, it sticks doesn't it?

OP posts:
Carysmatic · 06/07/2019 10:26

Sucks*

OP posts:
Hayd88 · 06/07/2019 10:55

Gosh @Carysmatic I'm so so sorry. Quite bizarre we are going through the same thing. Yes mine isn't like a normal period it's very clotty (sorry TMI) and the pain is further down. I felt very sick with it yesterday but better today. I felt very teary and sad so be kind to yourself today. I'm here for you on here, we can be sad together. But hey - we got pregnant - there is hope for us and it is part of nature sadly. Big big hugs xxxx

Carysmatic · 06/07/2019 11:33

@Hayd88 I know it's horribly for both of us but I'm kinda glad I've got someone on here who is going through exactly what I am. I'm really trying to take the positives away from this, at least I know me and DH are fertile, at least an egg fit fertilised and I know it didn't stick this time but hopefully next time we'll be more successful. My cramps are way more painful, I'm getting a lot of clots and like fibre type tissues, and blood mixed with mucus. I also had the most horrendous headache before it happened and I felt very nauseous with it yesterday as well.

OP posts:
Hayd88 · 06/07/2019 11:42

@Carysmatic yes I feel a bit better having someone else going through it. It's a harsh reality but very common. I felt exactly the same yesterday hun but today is a lot better, so it's less of a reminder of what's going on. Hopefully it finishes in a few days and we can move on a little bit. I'm taking a few days off work and getting a massage!! If anything this has brought me and DH closer and I think it's made him realise how much he wants this which is nice. Hang in there xx

@Bezalelle how are you going?? I still want to hear your positive news? And all the ladies' positive news for that matter!

Carysmatic · 06/07/2019 11:52

@Hayd88 I was literally just thinking about getting a massage myself! I'm working a night shift tomorrow night but Sunday nights are super chilled and easy going so I'm not too worried. I'm just going to be kind to myself today, I'm still in my pjs watching Netflix 😂 same as I normally do first day of AF just veg on the sofa, just gunna have a nice easy day. Unfortunately DH is at work all day today so I am feeling a little lonely. But I'll survive ☺️ I'm feeling way more positive today than I was yesterday when I first started spotting. What are your plans for the day @Hayd88 ?

Yes to everyone I still want to hear positive news, we're here to support everyone here. Sending baby dust to all

Bezalelle · 06/07/2019 12:07

Hello to @Carysmatic and @Hayd88 and everyone else on this thread.

Sorry to hear that things haven't been going so well.

Still no sign of AF for me, meaning that I'm coming up to three days late. Feeling really rubbish - nauseous and headachey but no spotting. DP and I were meant to go out this morning but I've stayed at home. I think I'll take a test later. DP is really keen to know one way or the other, but I'm weirdly enjoying the limbo of "maybe" being pg. I really don't want to see a BFN!

Hayd88 · 06/07/2019 12:47

Good luck @Bezalelle x

@Carysmatic I'm by a pool today, reading a book and enjoying some me time. Booking myself a massage and maybe having something to drink tonight! I told my sister-in-law who was very sympathetic so that was helpful. Anyone know how soon we can try again with a chemical?

Carysmatic · 06/07/2019 13:22

@Bezalelle sounds promising if AF is late, I know what you mean about getting a bfn to get you down. But the fact that AF still hasn't come is a good sign. Hang in there.

@Hayd88 I think we can start trying again right away, I think we may ovulate again in two weeks. I'm going to carry on tracking my bbt and then in a week or so start doing OPK again and just hope that I do ovulate. I feel very optimistic now that I know I can conceive ☺️

Bezalelle · 06/07/2019 18:12

I took an FRER this afternoon and it was a BFN. Not even a whisper of a line. And no AF. So confusing.
