TWW buddies 1DPO today

Hey, I thought I'd start a new group for TWW as I'm just 1DPO and I felt like I was a bit late to jump on the other TWW groups

Cycle #3 of TTC
Cycle length 27-30 days (usually bang on 28 though)
CD 15
BFP/AF due 2-3rd June

I actually managed to pin point my LH surge this month with opks, I used one step and CB digits and got a solid smiley on CD 13 and then my bbt temp spike this morning putting O day at some point yesterday. Me and DH DTD CD 6, 8, 12, 13 and 15 so hope that we're in with a good chance this month.

Anyone welcome to join me for the dreaded TWW to symptom spot and try and convince each other not to test too early 🙈

Don't give up hope @Carysmatic! It's only over until AF sings, as it were.

I'm due Thurs and I'm really not feeling much of anything.

Thanks @Bezalelle and @Hayd88 trying not to give up hope, I'll hang in there, I'll see what tomorrow brings.

No AF this morning, not even feeling too many symptoms today. I caved and did an IC test which was BFN. Maybe I'll come on later today or tomorrow 🤷🏼‍♀️ who knows 😔

@Carysmatic it could just be that your HGC levels haven't risen enough to show in a test. I spoke to a friend last night who is a trainee midwife and she told me not to test until several days after my period is due, if it doesn't arrive.

It confuses me when I see people getting BFPs at like 6 days DPO but I guess it's to do with implantation happening at different times.

No AF for me yet. I don't feel "periody". Last night in bed I got all shivery and had to put on extra PJs and blankets. It was like flu without the grotty feeling. Really weird.

Congratulations @rightnow1245 and @hayd88! Thrilled for you and only a weensy bit jealous. I can admit that here right??
Still counting down to AF bring due on Monday. it is making for a very long wait I'm pretty sure I'm out this month, as DH was away in the 2 day approach to ovulation but I still can't help with the wishful thinking

Symptom spotting - anyone ridiculously hungry??
I used to get hungry a lot in trimester 1 last time (quite hangry too ) and today it's off the chart.
Had a big bowl of cereal for breakfast at 7.45, then an hour ago, a samosa and grapes, yet feeling like lunch should be very soon

@Namechangeymcnamechange11 I'm actually off my food, which is really unusual for me, the day before AF is due! Usually I would be eating all the chocolate right now.

@Namechangeymcnamechange11 I keep chopping and changing. One minute I'm starving the next I feel nauseous and off my food. I nearly threw up earlier. I'm a nurse and deal with all sorts all the time but a patient was sick and it made me gag! I normally have such a strong stomach!

Good luck for tomorrow @Carysmatic and @Bezalelle, if you're both testing then. I am still showing negative on the cheapie amazon tests so you may want to splurge on a pricey test? I'm doing another FRER tomorrow and will be sending you all the luck in the world!!! 💕🤞😘

@Hayd88 thank you. I've got hardly any AF symptoms today which is weird as I had loads yesterday. Still no sign, lots of milky white CM today and nausea. Just wish I could have a clear answer either way. How are you feeling?

Thanks @Hayd88! I'm not sure whether to test tomorrow morning, if AF hasn't come. DP is arriving tomorrow afternoon to stay for the weekend. If I test in the morning and it's negative, I can see myself getting really down about it, especially since I don't think we'll be able to try next month due to logistics. But if I test and it's positive, I will wish I'd waited for him to test together!

Also I'm seeing my parents tomorrow late morning, so it's probably best if I don't know either way, lest I betray my happiness/sadness. They will literally freak out with excitement if they get an inkling that I might be pg. Likewise if I'm not, I don't want to have to talk to mum about it, as she struggled with TTC for 15 years (ended up adopting me).

Such a bloody minefield, this TTC business.

@Carysmatic I've got CM and nausea too. Non of my usual PMT fury, which I would usually be feeling the day before AF.

My AF symptoms tailed off yesterday too, the day it was due. I have just felt slightly off and very tired and I've lost my voice after getting a slight cold, which they say can happen during implantation! But apart from that not too bad thanks 🙏

Af arrived this eve, bang on time according to my glow app. Hey ho. Onto the next cycle.

@bezalelle - what is this "off food" of which you speak? I'm not familiar with the concept

@Namechangeymcnamechange11 so still no AF this morning, and I actually did a FRER well actually 2 in fact. And I got a very faint line on both test. I'm feeling very optimistically cautious. DH doesn't quite believe me, he's not sure that it's a positive as it's so faint, but there is definitely a line on both tests, I did an IC test too but that looked negative, I mean maybe like a super super super faint line on the IC but yeah....I'm not sure how I feel. I'm not sure if I believe it really.

How are you getting on?

Mine is due today. Not sure whether it's my mind playing tricks on me, but I don't feel like I usually do on this day. Hopefully this is a good sign, particularly if I ovulated earlier than the Flo app predicted (June 16th instead of 19th).

I have a really busy day today, which will hopefully keep my mind off testing. Really can't deal with the thought of a BFN.

@Carysmatic a line is a line! I know what you mean about being cautious though. I'm still getting a negative on my ICs and I lost my second FRER?!? I have no idea where I put it! I am feeling noticeably more tired and quite sick this morning though

@Hayd88 you got a positive on a FRER earlier this week? And still no AF? I'm still getting what I consider to be AF symptoms but no AF and now a faint positive. Looks like we're in a similar boat

@carysmatic - congratulations! A line is a line! What about a CB test - the ones that say 1-2 weeks etc, would it put your mind at rest?

I'm fine, AF due 8th. No symptoms of anything really. Am expecting that AF will be rearing her head and I will be in it for another cycle at least! Doesn't stop me being wishful though

@Namechangeymcnamechange11 thank you, I think I will try a CB test in a few days, the line is so faint I don't know if a CB test would show up yet, it's such early days, I'm only 2 days late so maybe I'll wait until I'm a week late, though by being a week late I think that would be a pretty clear sign that I am pg. See the line is only very faint

A line is a line :) iirc the leaflet says if there's anything there at all, you're pregnant x

So I did another FRER and it is still unbelievably faint it's almost undetectable. So feel a bit worried 😟. Sounds like we are in the exact same boat @Carysmatic! I am going to try not to test again until next week as I'm still only 2 days past my usual AF date 🤷🏼‍♀️

My AF is due today. I had a surge of PMT-style rage earlier (I get one every month!) but it could have been because I was hangry.

DP is here now. Not sure whether to tell him I haven't got my period.
