2 week wait

So I thought I would start a thread and see who else has started the dreaded TWW, I'm currently 2DPO and finding it impossible to wait to find out the outcome, so I need some ladies to share my insanity with.

I am also going insane! Might not have even ovulated yet (was taking the chilled out route 😂)
Af is due on the 25th. Feels ages away!

AF is due in the 24th for me, fingers crossed she doesn't turn up for either of us 🤞🏼it's taking every part of my being not to take a test even though I know it would be impossible to get a BFP. This is a complete nightmare I thought I'd be so relaxed and just go with the flow but I'm the total opposite 😂 When will you be testing for what hopefully will be a BFP

This is my 4th time ttc so you'd think I'd be chilled. I was last time.

I think I'm going to test on the 25th. With my short cycles theres no point testing before then... if I can manage I'll try and leave it a few days after af is due.
How about you?

@Treaclepie19 I'd like to say I'd wait until the day AF is due but I'll probably test at 10dpo to get it out of my system 😂 I'm currently symptom spotting which I wish I wasn't 🙈 currently cramping like crazy and have no idea why

@NinaPS see for me 10dpo is probably the day of or the day after af is due so makes sense for me to wait.
Fingers crossed! Hope the cramps are implantation!

@Treaclepie19 I was hoping that they would be implantation cramps but I feel it's too soon as I'm around 2-3dpo

I'm 12dpo, usually af will arrive 16dpo so still 4 more days of waiting 😩! I have started to believe that I just make up symptoms in my head haha! The days are dragging and I am going insane!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I'm also driving DH insane as he's just said 'stop being obsessive' easier said than done 🙈😂

Omg I don't know how you've stayed so strong I'd be testing at 12dpo 😱

@NinaPS I have had that many disappointing bfn I just can't test early anymore because I turn into the most grumpy/depressed human alive!!!!!!!

@campervan00 Oh no I'm sorry to hear that :( how long have you been TTC? This is my first cycle so I'm trying not to get my hopes up but it's impossible not to constantly think that you're pregnant :(

@nina About 2 years now! It's hard because my partner works away so can't always dtd at the right time. Had 2 miscarriages in thats time x

Ahh me! I'm 7DPO.
TTC #1 - trying for 8 months so far. tested at 6 DPO and i got a super (I mean Super) faint line but it was way too early to test so probably an in dent. trying to hold off until fathers day on the 16th.

its so difficult!

@campervan00 I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriages, I lost a baby 2 years ago I was around 5-6 weeks at the time, we then decided to hold off because I felt I wasn't mentally ready and couldn't deal with the thought of the same thing happening again, 2 years on we've decided that we're ready m, so hears hoping to no more traumatic experiences for any of us ❤️ I'm in the same situation at the moment as I work away during the week and only see him on the weekends so it's trying to get the time right, I'm worried I've missed ovulation or not DTD near enough to the time. I haven't used OPKs yet as I thought I would try and not be so regimented and relax a little but if after cycle 3 (providing I'm not pregnant this month) I will probably start using tracking methods

@KittenMittens1 I hope you get a BFP! What a surprise that would be for your DH on Father's Day! I wish I could know by then but likely to get a BFN as i will only be 6dpo :( I'm wishing there was a fast forward button on life right now

It's my second month of TTC #2, and I'm now in my 2WW (7dpo).

Negative FRER yesterday- too early I know but hey- Father's Day so tried my luck!). Anyone else constantly testing?! Or just me lol.

@JenDaw Hey Hun, you are more than welcome to join, I find it does help to speak to other women in the same boat as not everything can be discussed as understood by the other half.
I am also 7dpo today, my boobs have become a little tender and mild cramping.
I would like to hold off testing until atleast 12dpo but think I may take a test 9dpo-10dpo to try and get it out of my system.
This is my first month TTC baby no1.
Here's hoping this is our month ❤️

AF due on 27th so currently in TWW (5 dpo)

Don't actually know if AF is definitely due then as I only came off the pill on 25th May and my body might not be back to normal that fast but we are treating it as if it is just in case!

@NinaPS yeah, I've been checking my cervix and CM but having been getting a lot of cramps! How about you? Not sure how many dpo I am though

Cd 17 2dpo
(Had an early miscarriage/chemical last month so hoping to resist the urge to test early as I don't want to cause myself upset again)

@nina just saw your post on cramps, last month after ov I had period (but worse) like cramps for days and then they eased, I think it was my body's reaction to it.
Sorry to hear about your loss a couple of years ago, sounds similar to what happened to me last month 😢

I'm 12dpo, 10th cycle and currently sitting on my hands so came here for the distraction. I had a chemical around 5 cycles ago so trying to see if I'm late before I test; af due Wednesday. I hate this bit!!

Thanks @NinaPS - yes, nice to chat to people going through the same thing I think (feel like I'm always going on about it at the minute to my hubby).

I feel really quite sick today- but may be a touch of a cold/hay fever though! (Wishful thinking it isn't!!) lol.

I've been testing a lot recently with cheapies- feel like I need to stop but it's so tempting!!

Also caved today and bought 2x 2packs of FRER from boots as they were on offer... question is how long I can last without using them!!

Hope you get lucky straight away- as everyone I've read says- sending 'baby dust' to you! Xx

Hi @Mrsccc! I know what you mean about not being sure on days... I came off cerazette mid-March and my last period was 4days before I expected it! At the time I hoped it was an implantation bleed but hasn't turned out that way! Fingers crossed you get a regular cycle straight away- so much easier to work out dates etc! Hoping mine settles down!! I think I'm due between somewhere between 22nd/24th- but obvs hoping AF doesn't arrive x
