Hello there,

Currently on cycle #5, trying to conveive baby number two (many years after first), and realising ttc is one of the most frustrating tasks I have embarked on.

I had a chemical pregnancy in january which has completely taken all joy out of trying because even if that BFP appears, I do not think I could bring myself to be excited about it.

That being said, there is only one way this is going to happen so on I go with the 'ahem' BD and peeing on ovulation sticks and then pregnacy tests at any given moment.

AF due 15 April, let the obsessing begin..

Oh, and is anybody else actually sick of doing the deed yet (sorry husband)?

Hello, is it OK to join multiple threads? I hope so.

Mine is on 15th or 16th, and already super anxious. I feel a bit angry with myself for being so focused on this, as for so many friends it just 'happened,' but I am naturally someone who likes to be in control and have dates/deadlines.

Good luck to all of you. So difficult not to symptom spot.

Af is such a slap in the face it will be nice to have this thread if it comes.

mommato3 · 08/04/2019 13:45

How's everyone doing?

I think my boobs may be starting to get tender but think that's about normal for af being due anyway so not getting excited yet. I've been quite bloated lately and wanting chocolate which is usually a sign of af pending so we'll see. Not holding my breath however

Good luck everyone xx

thosethreewords · 08/04/2019 15:28

I'm also 7DPO today! I think a few of us are!! Not much as of yet, waiting to see what this week brings X

Charlotte9876 · 08/04/2019 17:54

Hi all, been a busy few days for me so just catching up on all your posts- glad I'm not the only one madly symptom spotting! Have been kidding myself that I've been getting pains in my breasts, aching back, super tiredness (nothing to do with just having had a really busy weekend!).

I even caught myself trying to squidge my boob on the edge of my desk to see if it felt tender while I was at work. Oh dear. I'm only 6 DPO....

GreatestShowUnicorn · 08/04/2019 18:00

Finally got peak on clearblue tonight so just have to hope saturdays insemination is still alive and swimming!!

Comps83 · 08/04/2019 18:49

If I hit on lucky this month, my due date will be Christmas Day Shock

Okready · 08/04/2019 22:07

@comps83 I had the exact same thought, hopefully lots of Christmas babies coming up! They won't thank us for it, but hey ho Grin.

@charlotte9876 squishing your boob on a desk, that made me laugh so much. We've all gone mad!

@sleepyhead11 I know what you mean about it seeming easy for all your friends, but I bet at least some of them were on here too at some stage!

All I can see everywhere at the moment are pregnant people and babies. Grrrr

RLI1105 · 08/04/2019 23:04

@Okready I'm the the same! The unit where I work there are currently 6 people pregnant and another 5 already off on mat leave! Hopefully it will be all of us soon!

I don't know why, but I've already convinced myself I'm out this month. The symptoms I'm getting are too PMS-like and I just think it would be too early at 7dpo.
The last couple of cycles I've only had a 10 day luteal phase so I'll know one way or another by Wednesday

Okready · 09/04/2019 08:32

@RLI1105 you're not out of the game yet. Stay positive.

thosethreewords · 09/04/2019 09:37

@RLI1105 FX Wednesday is uneventful for you and AF stays away xx

@Comps83 my EDD from LMP would be 24th December 🥰 really crossing fingers! X

Sleepyhead11 · 09/04/2019 09:38

@Charlotte9876 I've been doing that too. So hard not to read everything as a symptom.

Just spoke to my Mum though and she said she was properly sick from one week, and very sensitive to smells - also completely off coffee. Am just drinking a double shot espresso before work, and think Mother and daughter tend to have same symptoms, which almost certainly means I am out.

Thank you @OKready - I know best friend's baby was a (very welcome once they came to terms with the idea) mistake, as we talk a lot about stuff, but don't know about other friends. I held her for the first time the other day and could hardly believe that my lovely friend and her partner had made this perfect little person, which I know sounds a bit mad and over emotional.

Maybe next month is our month @RLI1105 ? Am going on holiday in May and not sure whether to pack a pregnancy test -if regular af due on14th May. Part of me thinks they are bound to have them in Finland, another part thinks I won't be able to read instructions. Also packing one seems hubristic, kind of?

thosethreewords · 09/04/2019 10:58

@Sleepyhead11 my mum said she just knew she was pregnant too! Which is even more surprising because her and my dad were told they couldn't have kids because he had chemo in his early 20s. I'm also very much still able to drink my coffee so I'm trying not to get my hopes up. Remind me how many DPO you are today?

I know what you mean about friends making these perfect babies - my best friend has a beautiful one year old and it makes my heart melt when I see her with my DH, and how broody he seems after he's seen her!

lololoe · 09/04/2019 11:19

Hi everyone
Can I join? Ttc #2. I’m 7 or 8dpo today. I had a chemical last month and a mega long cycle this month.
I’ve been determined not to symptom spot, and I’ve been distracting myself well, until yesterday when I felt so nauseous that I just had to test. I got a possible squinted of a line, and again this morning with FMU. But my brain is telling me it’s far too early and they have to be evaps, but still hoping anyway!
Good luck to everyone!

Mikeyjayne2018 · 09/04/2019 11:45

Can I be added to this thread pls, due AF 10-13th after miscarriage last month at 14 weeks. Haven't had a period yet Obvs, we were told at scan on 27th March that I was ovulating both sides so we decided to try and leave it to fate.
Lots of symptoms but all BFN's. I'm testing all the time which I shouldn't be I know.
Still so emotional about everything but trying to stay sane. Wishing you all the very best of luck x

Wishing56 · 09/04/2019 12:41

TTC is driving me crazy! I was feeling really positive this month but today feeling really low. No symptoms and feel like AF is just around the corner despite her not being due for another week.
My cycles range between 29-36days and today is CD27.
I know there is still time and not out until AF arrives but today i just feel like this month is a definite no.

I have friends staying this weekend so was thinking of taking an IC on friday morning, with AF due Monday will this be too early?

Sleepyhead11 · 09/04/2019 14:35

@thosethreewords I think some people just know, even when they've been told it's not possible, they know. How far was she? I am just day 9DPO so not testing yet, thinking am out though, and sort of focusing on next month,

@Lololoe - I guess it is possible it's a line? When will you test again?

@Wishing56 I don't think Friday will necessarily be to early if cycle can be 29 days and day 27 now.

Sleepyhead11 · 09/04/2019 14:37

@MIkeyjane - I'm so sorry, that sounds so tough for you.

lololoe · 09/04/2019 15:23

I’ll probably do another cheapie tomorrow. Going to save my frer until at least Friday. It’s so hard to resist poas though! I wish frer weren’t so expensive!

@wishing56 I would think Friday would be ok for internet cheapie.

@mikeyjayne2018 I’m so sorry for your loss. Fingers crossed for your rainbow 🌈

MrsBookworm · 09/04/2019 15:53

This tww is taking forever! I don't think I have any signs even though I'm reading into everything. Feel fed up though as my husband will be working away on my next two ovulations so that's me ruled out for a while!

peasando · 09/04/2019 16:40

I know what you mean @MrsBookworm, I'm on 9dpo and I cannot understand how this 2WW isn't over yet. I am reading into everything and testing every day like an idiot. I'm out of control! It would almost be a relief if AF started at this point, at least I could stop poas for a few days then.

(obviously it wouldn't be a relief, and I would be gutted...)

lololoe · 09/04/2019 16:48

I need someone to stop me poas!! I've even ordered more to arrive Friday 🙈🙈

So the first photo was taken at 9 mins. Not quite dry yet but I can see something. Then the second photo is at about 14mins when it finally dried.

And so the 2ww begins. 15th April count down.
And so the 2ww begins. 15th April count down.
lololoe · 09/04/2019 16:49

I didn't hold either. I peed about 1.5 hours ago then needed to go again and did this test.

peasando · 09/04/2019 17:42

Hmm I'm not sure @lololoe, I can maybe see something? But I'm not sure how accurate those tests are if you leave them. I think you're going to have to wait and test with FMU tomorrow (sorry - I hate it when people say that to me!)

thosethreewords · 09/04/2019 18:34

@Mikeyjayne2018 I'm so sorry for your loss, I'm not surprised you are still so emotional ❤️

@lololoe really hope this is good news for you!! Let us know on Friday!

@Sleepyhead11 I can't remember now - i haven't spoken to her about it in a while as I don't want her to know we're trying and arouse suspicion!

@Wishing56 it really is so up and down isn't it. I feel like that a lot - some days I'm more content than others ❤️ it's ok to have bad days, we want these babies so much after all x

thosethreewords · 09/04/2019 18:35

@lololoe I think I see something! But it's so hard to see in photos anyway (I know from taking photos of OPKs)
