TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

I liked the idea at first, but now DH is applying for a job which might mean we could put dc through private education at a very good school. No chance of doing that for 2 though . We’d have to live on bread and water and each sell a kidney

Thanks lovely. Not feeling very positive really but I guess time will tell. If AF is coming, it needs to hurry up though so I can get pissed at the weekend!

Finally in the 2ww - DPO1 woohoo! 😂🙄

Both DP and I are teachers, so we're lucky from a childcare/schooling point of view.

12dpo and a BFN with an IC with FMU. Pretty sure AF will come in the next two days I've got more tests being delivered today but only got a ClearBlue Digital and I'm not wasting that today. Feeling a bit fed up to be honest.

Definitely think AF is on its way, my glands are all swollen on one side of my neck today which always happens a few days before. Going to stop testing now, it's costing me too much money!

We didn't manage to dtd last night as I'm really struggling with the cold and my asthma. Fell asleep just past 9pm! 🤦‍♀️🙄😂

Hoping that dtd for 3 days before ovulation and the day of will be enough. Will not the day after make much difference?

Thanks @Roo3125 pretty sure it's game over for May. If AF comes on schedule next AF/BFP wouldn't be due until first week of June.

Had a little cry to DP who was lovely, just need it to come now so I can go out and get sloshed at the weekend as got two events to go to. If no AF and still BFN I'll feel like I can't which is annoying.

I'd say that was enough DTD, I think the day after wouldn't make much difference from what I've read.

@Roo3125 sperm lives for up to 5 days anyway so you'll be all good!

I had my scan this morning, saw babies heartbeat and they're measuring at 7 weeks 5 days which is 3 days ahead of what I thought!

Do you think maybe you OV'ed a little earlier than @xoxhayleyxox? Might explain getting your BFP early on!

@tisonlymeagain I may have! My morning sickness started at 4 weeks but now I know it was more like 5 weeks which makes more sense! I don't know how it works cause I thought I was bang on with my dates ya know but! Obvs not 😂

@tisonlymeagain Just take it one day at a time. Poas can be so addictive and soul destroying all at the same time! I really hope it works out for you though!

I'm hoping that it'll be ok 🤦‍♀️ Will just need to wait and see what happens. I'm determined to try and not test early this time but we'll need to wait and see! 😂🙄

13dpo today and BFN with a FRER and FMU. So disappointed think it's definitely over for this month, just hope AF doesn't take forever to show.

Of course there's always a change I didn't OV on the Friday - I got my static smiley on the Thursday which means ovulation within next 12-36 hours so I suppose it could have been Saturday. I'll try and keep positive until AF shows.

Think it's all over for me this month ladies. CD29, 13dpo, BFN this morning and started kind of spotting tonight (more like a pink tinged bit of wee) so I expect AF will be here in all her glory tomorrow  Bitterly disappointed, have had a little cry and a cuddle with DP.

Thanks girls, AF really here today which is disappointing but if I'm going to look for the silver lining my first proper cycle after coming off the pill has been a normal one so at least there is that. Next AF/BFP due 1st June. Going to be a long month

I just wanted to let you know I’ve had a miscarriage at 5+2. Very disappointing after the excitement. Good luck with your journeys. I’m not going to stop trying but not actively going to try this month x
