TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

@rosie2531 haha the things we have to do I get them to DTD at the right time haha!

Night shifts are helping take my time off the TWW but so tiring, not sure if I’m having early preg symptoms or just nightshift symptoms haha! Next sun I’m doing my first FRER of this cycle 🤞🏼 x

Well, that's af said her goodbyes :) back to DTD every other day and I'll start OPKs soon. The Flo app is saying that I should ovulate on the 30th 🤔 but I'll check from tomorrow probably as this cycle could end up a tad weird again!

10DPO here. Had some brown spotting when I wipe the last 2 days.

No pregnancy symptoms and no period imminent symptoms either.

We only DTD on the Tues and I’m sure I ovulated on the Thurs.

I can start POAS stick tomorrow, right?!

Hey all how are we doing?

CD19 and 3DPO. Man these 2WW's drag on? 11 days until AF due, I normally start getting AF symptoms about 7-10 days before - the world's sorest boobs - so I am keeping an eye out for that anytime now. DP is convinced that I'll be pregnant but I think it will take longer because of my age.

Morning! Enjoying the weather here :) af is definitely gone now, so will try to dtd every second day 😂🙄

What day is normal for ovulation? Only on CD 5 but trying not to miss it.

@tisonlymeagain You never know! The body is a wonderful thing lol. I had a really heavy af, so hoping that's a good sign for this month!

Morning ladies! 6 weeks today! Can't believe it's been almost 3 weeks since I found out I was pregnant, it's gone so fast.

@tisonlymeagain the 2WW is the hardest part! Fingers crossed for you though, hopefully it'll fly past (she says whilst counting the days anyway until I'm 12 weeks 😂)

@Rosie2531 depends what your cycle is! But because you don't know that's where it's difficult. It's usually CD14 but that's based on a 28 day cycle. Mine was CD13, so pretty close! If I were you I'd be testing from like CD7/8 just so I don't miss it. So hard to say! Best to just invest in the OPKs and get used to pissing on sticks once again 😂

Loving this weather :) I think there might be a break in the sky soon though as I'm getting headaches and always get headaches before a thunderstorm haha!

@Rosie2531 I've told close friends and family but that's all, can't wait to announce it, just 6 more weeks to go!!

Having major hot flashes tonight, but I do get that with AF so not reading anything into but DP did just suggest maybe I don't finish the wine I was drinking. Felt a bit nauseous today too but 3-4dpo is way too early for any type of symptom, even AF to be fair!

Oh also my wee smells funny

@tisonlymeagain Could be post ovulation symptoms :) the body does funny things around that time haha!

I've quit caffeine for the past month and haven't drank much in prep. My OH doesn't really drink caffeine but loves a pint haha 🙄😂

I'm wondering what the odds are of conceiving first proper cycle. I'm hoping that things are looking good and that I'm at my 'optimum' age etc. Getting nervous now haha! 😂 I don't like waiting! 😂

@xoxhayleyxox That's so nice! My friend just announced her first and I was so excited! Didn't want to say 'hopefully we can have mat leave play dates' to her, but I definitely thought it haha! 😂🙄

I feel SO rough today. I'm really struggling sleeping, my mouth is dry AF and I feel soo sick. Feel like I have a bad hangover! 😩 oh and I can't stop peeing! I thought I'd got away with that one but apparently not 😂

Hang in there @xoxhayleyxox it all gets better around 12 weeks, well apart from the peeing ha, that gets better for a bit and then gets worse again when baby decides to use your bladder as a trampoline.

Am so bored here and tirelessly symptom spotting. 10 days until AF is due according to Glow so way too early but I know I will be POAS by the weekend, nuts!

It's so easy to read into every symptom when TTC - I am crampy, emotional, nauseous, exhausted...all normal things but I keep thinking is it a sign!

@tisonlymeagain talking of smelly wee, I think my UTI is back. It’s been niggling since I conceived but I thought it had finally gone a week ago. I’ve just checked and I can’t even take the cystitis relief sachets. Bloody typical as I’m back at work on Thursday

On the plus side, I’ve finally managed to get a cheapie to work!

I wondered if I had a UTI but nothing else other than it being a bit whiffy. I'm not normally delicate in that area I've never had a UTI, cystitis, thrush or anything like that in my life! But annoying you can't take anything @comps83. I'm struggling with hayfever the past few days and not taking anti-histimines 'just in case'.

Woohoo on the cheapy! There's no disputing that!
