TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

@xoxhayleyxox @tisonlymeagain I don't really know what spotting is, haha! It's more like ewcm with pink/red tinge? That's probably tmi, sorry! 🤦‍♀️ Having cramps that feel af like though. The pain through the night was really bad!

I don't want to be alarmist @Rosie2531 but keep an eye on it and any pain and if you're worried go to GP etc. I only say this because somebody I know had an ectopic last year. No positive pregnancy tests, pregnancy was only picked up through bloods, and she started spotting a little like that a few weeks later. It's probably nothing like that but just be aware if AF doesn't show up properly and you're in any pain. I still think your GP should have done bloods not urine test!

@tisonlymeagain Thank you, I was considering that might be something to look out for too. I'm really pissed off that my gp hasn't done bloods. It's very strange and I don't think I'll get a definitive result with urine 🤔 if it gets heavier and stays for a few days then I'll count it as af. The cramps definitely feel familiar. If the pain gets worse again I'll definitely call 111 x

I just did my OPK in the loo at work. Still very light, but better than last night so maybe my pee was too diluted last night as it looks similar to yesterdays though Glow picked it up as a bit darker. Hopefully this means things are still moving in the right direction!

Yes the OPK is darker, I will hold on to my pee for a good few hours and test again tonight. Three times a day isn't obsessive is it? Shock

My results still aren't in. Don't even want to call tomorrow as I know they'll be negative now. In a proper grump and stomach making up for missing an af it seems...

What conception vitamins have you ladies been using? Sorting myself out for this cycle and classing it as my first proper one.

@Rosie2531 I wasn't taking any when TTC but im now on folic acid which is a good idea to start if you're TTC. I also take Vit D but was on that before anyway. Also I think the pregnacare ones are good! Heard good things about them x

Re vitamins, I am taking the Seven Seas ones, started about a month ago.

I've got some pregnacare leftover but will see what's on deal next time I'm out :)

That definitely looks darker! Much more red/purple. I read not to use FMU with them and that they're more accurate in the evenings :)

I'm so unbelievably grumpy and tired today 😂😭

Yes @Rosie2531 £5-6 in Boots etc they were £2.99 I think in Savers.

They also do cheap pregnancy tests #justsaying Grin

Aw god I hate those ICs!!
I ordered a load before I got my BFP and they were showing BFN!!!
Hence a night of worry til I could test FMU with a trusty FRER

@Comps83 Frer are definitely the most sensitive test on the market :) don't worry yourself with testing anymore! There's definitely a baby in there!
