TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

@xoxhayleyxox Thank you Mrs! I am too! 🤦‍♀️😂 I'm hoping they were. I keep having strange twinges on either side of my lower stomach 🤔 about to check out and feeling sick as a dog 🤢😂 not flying out till 9.50 tonight! 😂😂🤦‍♀️

I have no idea. I had that 3 day bleed 20thmarch but I really don’t think that was AF

Should I do a test tonight or tomorrow morning? 🤔 I fly at 9.50 and arrive just before midnight. Won't get to bed till after 1. Would I be best testing then? Will make sure I don't pee haha! 😂😂

Still waiting for AF to appear here, getting bored now. Took last pill 31 days ago and zilch, but feeling very hormonal with sore boobs, which is totally normal for me. I normally get sore boobs for about 10 days pre-AF, so I am hoping this is a sign it's on its way and maybe I OV'd. Did a PG test just in case but it was negative. Just wish it would hurry up!

I would do it tomorrow morning @Rosie2531 If only because if I got a negative at night, I'd still do it again in the morning anyway, haha!

I’m now 15 days late and got a negative test last Friday haven’t done a test since as I’ve given up hope

Just wanted to come onto this thread and provide reassurance. I remember only too well the stress off TTC after coming off the pill. It took me 6 months (and lots of horrible side effects) to get a period and 9 for them to be regular. I then got pregnant straight away. Hang in there and best of luck everyone.

Thanks @Falcon1 I know it's possible, I got pregnant 4 months after coming off the pill, no period in between. Not feeling so positive this time, just hoping it doesn't take so long because I'm 40 soon and we've decided not to try past Xmas. Fingers crossed!

Strangest cycle for me, started the light spotting 6DPO, heavy bleeding (with clots!) on 10&11DPO.. and practically finished 'period' on CD3 (12DPO)

My last 2 bleeds were 6 days long & heavy up to CD4. (I remember them being like this before i went on contraception too).

So confused!

OPKs has arrived so I took two to try them out lol! Not sure what this means exactly 🙄😂 Not sure to do a test in the morning or another OPK.

Morning, woke up this morning and AF has arrived, or something resembling it. Quite light at the moment but so happy! Pretty sure I ovulated about two weeks ago because of CM but we weren't trying then.

I have no real idea how long cycle is going to be so I was thinking of starting OPKs on CD10? Does that sound about right?

I didn’t think it’d be accurate but it was only 1 day off with the ovulation prediction
So I had a 3 day bleed 20th March and then OPK showed positive yday

I've got the flo app but as this is first bleed since coming off the pill I'm not sure how accurate it will be. It's said 19th for ovulation but I assume that's based on a standard cycle. I think I'll start testing with OPKs on Saturday next week, the 13th. If it was around that weekend it would be perfect as we're going away for four days on a dirty weekend Grin
