TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

I'm back to the slightly pink when I wipe .. so who knows if I'm in or out this month!

I'd say you're in until full blown AF rears her ugly head!

Nothing when I wiped this morn. Seems to have cleared up for time being.
POAS with FMU tho didn't I ... still negative (although I'm only 9, maybe 8 DPO) x

I have white CM today (TMI) 7/8 DPO... hoping it's a positive sign.

Still waiting for my period to arrive, hopefully this week then we can get trying. I'm not feeling positive, 40 in the summer so I expect it will not happen quickly, and we've given ourselves a 6 month shot at it. I'm just eager to get going now!

I’m starting to see a line on my OPK but I’m not convinced it’s not an evap. Not sure how similar it is to the pregnancy tests . According to FLO I should ovulate in 2 days if that 3 days AF was indeed a proper AF

Ok guys.. I've got pink/orange again when I wipe? Day 3 of this on/off but super light!!! What the actual 🥺

@Comps83 mine took a while but eventually they'll be as dark as the control line, that's when you're ready to BD!
@Robbo93 so strange!! Deffo not AF though so you're still in!
My boobs are SUPER painful again

@xoxhayleyxox deffo not AF as I'm usually super heavy! Got no over symptoms tho other than lower back ache but I was putting that down to household chores today x

Scrap that, I think AF has now arrived 10DPO 🤬

@Robbo93 ah no 😩😔 sorry. I think we're expecting too much from our bodies after pumping them full of hormones for years.

@xoxhayleyxox you're probably right. We don't want to officially 'try' this cycle as we want to avoid a January baby if we can (too many birthdays already!) so gonna chill for a month and not worry about OPK's 😂 xx

Haha I don't blame you!! Yeah I think that's a good idea. Allows another cycle to regulate as well. Xx

I've still not had af or any sign of her. Didn't take any tests on holiday so will have to take one on Thursday morning if she's still not here! 😂🤦‍♀️

@xoxhayleyxox Had a good few drinks for my birthday yesterday, so completely went out of mind haha! Just enjoying our holiday and we can worry when we're back :)

Ladies... Ok so I'm 8/9DPO and jus took a pregnancy test... I know it's early still but please can someone tell me they see this line!!
I've pulled the test open so I know it's not invalid but I needed a closer look. It's within the time frame

Ok so I don't know if this AF or not. What is my body doing to me 😭😭
Was really heavy this morning and red like a period. Put tampax in and filled my first one by 8am (put it in at 5am). Changed tampax again at 11am and there was hardly anything on it and pink again when I wiped!!

Hayley I can just about make a line out but I have to really zoom in and focus hard. Fingers crossed x

@xoxhayleyxox I can make out something on that actually! Do another in a few days and see if the line gets darker. That's definitely positive! :)

@Robbo93 That must be so confusing for you. Could just be a very light af maybe? The pill can change how heavy your af can be etc.

No alcohol today but I'm having a few cappuccinos! Doesn't do the Italian women any harm! 😂

@Robbo93 ah what, I wonder why it's doing this 😩 it doesn't sound like an average AF, but I'm not sure you'd bleed for as many days if it was implantation. Are you still thinking of testing or what's your game plan?

@Rosie2531 yeah you have to zoom in and look carefully but I can deffo see something. I've just bought my FRERs but I'm scared to do them because I don't wanna be disheartened!

@xoxhayleyxox Wait till you're 12 dpo and then use the frers :) that'll give you a clearer picture. My friend has got me an NHS test for when I'm home from holidays! 😂 so I'll look forward to using that! X

AF was messing me about it earlier. She has now arrived in full force! Only 10DPO tho :/

Sooo my stats are; came off Cerazette in January, had first 'period' (no withdrawal bleed) after 5.5 weeks. First cycle was 26 days and now my 2nd cycle was 31 days.
Not sure if I ovulated in Month 1 or 2, had positive OPK in month 3 but short lutuel phase of roughly 10 days (if I did ovulate).

I'm not going to be 'TTC' this next month as we'd rather not have a January baby if we can help it (too many birthdays already!) but obv will let nature do its course - it's gonna be nice not using an OPK everyday! Xx
