TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

My boobs have started hurting today which is normally a sign that my period is a week or so away, so fingers crossed. We're only giving it until Xmas to try so I really hope that my periods return

I swear, if af comes when I'm on holiday I will flip! 😂 I'm going to drink everything I can get my hands on though!

The way I'm feeling at the moment isn't the same as AF making her way the last 2 months... although everything I've read on google says there is no symptoms at this point .. I'm at a loss I have no freaking idea what my body is up to :(

Off to Venice for a few days - can't wait! My cramps have totally gone again 🙄 My body is definitely broken!

@Robbo93 me too, boobs are still super sore and I keep getting sharp pains in my sides of my lower stomach.

Tried to buy OPKs in Superdrug and they only had the super expensive ones 🙄 would like to know if I'm fertile or not just now lol.

7DPO (or maybe 6) and I woke up with stomach cramps and nausea.. they disappeared within the hour but when I just went for a pee I noticed a small bit of blood when I wiped. Pinkish in colour but too early for implantation surely? So guessing AF is on her way :(

@Robbo93 I believe implantation can start from day 6! Try not to worry, you're not out until full blown AF xx

@Rosie2531 ah I'm so jealous! Well I'm very hungover today after the gig last night 😩😂 I found the boots cheap ones REALLY good, £3.99 for pack of 5, best ones I've tried xx

We've decided to just go for it, so officially joining you. I'm pretty sure that I am about a week away from my first bleed after coming off the pill, the telltale signs are all there so I am feeling very positive that I'll have a period in a week or so and then I'll be starting in earnest.

The big question is....do I bother with OPKs right from the start....

@tisonlymeagain yay! Happy for you. I would say start using OPK soon, I started about CD6 (early) but I ovulated CD 13, a day earlier than estimated (I use the glow app, it's amazing).

I've just ordered some FRER now I'm 5/6DPO they won't be here for a few days so I'll hold out as long as possible

@tisonlymeagain That's amazing! Welcome! My OH and I are officially no longer trying to prevent pregnancy 😂 I tried to explain ovulation to him and he had no idea. I'm going to use OPK to see what the hell is happening with my body and then go from there.

Okay great. Have ordered some OPKs off Amazon so I can start using them. Like I say, pretty sure I ovulated last week as my body is giving me period signs. Fingers crossed. Never wanted a period so much!

I'm gonna try and not get my hopes up as I tend to have the worst luck. It's still pink and little at the moment but I'll assume it's gonna get redder and heavier x

I'm 7DPO today and contemplating using a FRER but I know it's too early. Someone stop me 😩😂

My bleeding stopped then after I'd been to do a no2 (sorry TMI) it went red, then back to one wipe of pink. Then stopped all through night and this morning... had a slight tinge of pink again earlier but nothing much

I foolishly POAS yesterday evening but I was only 7DPO and it would have been diluted so of course it didn't come back positive 😂

@Robbo93 doesn't sound like AF... remember hcg levels build after implantation, so if this is implantation then try wait a few more days before testing! Did you use a FRER? Xx

@xoxhayleyxox no I used an early one off the net but it detects 10 hcg so quite low x

@Robbo93 oh okay. I keep referring back to that link I posted on here to convince myself not to bother testing yet but I just can't help myself wanting to!😂😩 need some form of distraction

I'm on the two week wait now... 15 months after coming off cerazette. 3rd cycle of properly trying. Trying not to get my hopes up!
