Decided to set up a thread for ladies due to ovulate some time around the 22nd March. If you're due to OV around this time, come on in!

I find these easier to follow than the big month-long threads.

Thought we could all test at similar times, discuss our crazy symptom spotting, and all the other "fun" around TTC.

This will be cycle 5 after TFMR last year.

TTC our first

I've tried conceive plus, preseed, all manner of ovulation kits, etc.

This month I'm going to focus on losing half a stone. I've put a lot of weight on since my TFMR. I think i could be disadvantaging myself. I'm also going to cut down on caffeine throughout the who cycle.

I've also bought the Harvard medical school Fertility Diet book, all backed up with science so I'll let you all know how I get on with it.

If it makes anyone feel any better - I went for a wee at 4.30 this morning with DD, and then got a positive OPK using a tiny wee at 7.25am. I hadn’t drank anything in between.

@Kinsella82 at the grand old age of almost 42 I'm just learning all this. I have a 3 year old and I had a mmc in October. I had no issues falling pregnant with either.

Since the miscarriage I am still trying to understand how my body works, usually a 27 day cycle but have had one cycle be 35 days. I suffer for pains a few days before ovulation and days before af leading me to convince myself I'm pregnant again and then disappointment at blank tests etc.

Before the miscarriage I was neither up not down, couldn't have told you when I ovulated or even bothered with cramps. But now 😫

@Michellebops sorry to hear about your mmc. I have two other children and conceived both quick and easy without tracking anything so this is all new to me too since Christmas.

Can anyone advise? Tested with FMU this morning and had a faint line... just tested again now & got these results on an amazon cheapie & then a clearblue digital (reading negative...)

Don't really have much in the way of CM but I'm on CD19

I’m starting to panic I’ve missed OV even though I’m CD14 of a 31 day cycle and the apps predict the 24th/25th....
Had period type pains over night on my left side but haven’t notice any increased CM let alone any EWCM but we did dtd on cd 9, 10 and 12 so hopefully the 12 would have only been 24 hours prior to OV if that was it last night???? Or can OV pains be a day or so prior to anything happening? Really hope we haven’t missed the chance this month.....

So cd12 negative can digital opk last night, negative this morning but the second line is darker this morning than last nights but don't know if that means anything as no smiley.

Noticed some cm about 5 minutes ago, does this sound promising? Flo says I'm ov tomorrow but it's usually out by a couple of days.

Partner been away but home tonight so will need to dtd.

Well, sadly, I don't think I'm going to make it. So close!

Last night, my OPK was at about an 8-8.5/10. When I woke up this morning, my temp was up...I don't know if I would say it was a spike necessarily. My temps have been hanging out in the 96s all this week, and it's now up to 97.18. I guess I will have to pay attention to the next couple of days temps. This could be a rise before the spike. Or this could be the spike. I don't know.

I genuinely don't know if temping is helping or hurting. I have not had a major dip, which I know not everyone does. And, none of my temps have gotten even close to how high they were while I was on AF.

I had already decided I was going to test twice today based on the fact that I was so high yesterday evening. I did have a positive this morning, but I will take a test again this afternoon and tomorrow, or at least until I notice a change.

At this point, I am 35 hours until there is a possibility of BD-ing. With my surge somewhere between yesterday evening and this morning, we can split the difference at 6 hours, and put it at 41. That's a pretty long time. I would have to get really, really lucky for it to work out. The only thing I am hanging my hat on is that I have not had a major temperature spike. So, I'm holding out a sliver of hope that there is a chance.

But, it's not looking good.

I think that's my surge over. Negative OPKs today after 3 good strong positives yesterday. I'm assuming today is O day and tomorrow is 1DPO. Although when I put todays negatives into Glow, it changed from saying today is O day to today being 1DPO, even though I definitely only started my surge yesterday. So I deleted today's OPK result from the app to avoid confusing the situation. FF still says today is O day with a + yesterday and - today (though not temping so can't be 100%).

CD20 and I finally have my smiley face on the clearblue digital!! Although the two blue lines are not similar in colour at all? :/

I also have slight cramping downstairs which made me do another test this eve after a faint 2nd line this morning..

Negative this morning but j noticed the second line was darker than yesterday.

Showed my partner who is luckily back home and told him his luck was in 😂

Have 2 DS11 and 9.
Cycle 1 CD18 4dpo.

I think I might be out of the running this cycle as I've had a terrible stomach bug and haven't kept anything down for 24hrs

I haven't tracked ovulation or temps at all.
Just going by my period tracking app.

I'm a novice to the BD science!

Welcome @plipliop ! We have similar stats, same age and TTC no. 3!

How old are your children?

I think people will think we are crazy with a 10 year age gap.

I don't know what to think!
I decided to to a Pg test this morning along side the opk and it looks like there's a line on the pg test?!
As far as I'm aware I haven't O yet unless I did super early at CD8 or 9 as I wasn't doing opks then and had lots of EWCM?!
Is this a line? Kind of freaked!

That’s a line!! OPKs can produce lines when you’re pregnant but pregnancy tests can’t produce a positive based on LH.

@Kinsella82 I would say there is a definite line on both of them tests! No squinting, no zooming - very obvious!!

Oh Jesus I can't get my head around this. Trying not to get my hopes up too much as I've seen so many get bfp and then get AF.
BUT I'm so confused. We dtd on CD8 and now I'm on CD18 so wouldn't that be too soon to even get a bfp even if I did O on CD8?
We dtd every second day. Looking back on my app I had sore boobs that day and on CD10 I had very low pains on right hand side which I always wonder are they Ov pains... so confused.

If you did O on cd8 that would put you at 10DPO today and it’s deifnitely possible to get a BFP at 10DPO. Try another test later/tomorrow to be sure but other than that I’d be waiting and seeing! The only thing I’d be concerned about is how to date the pregnancy prior to any scans.
