Decided to set up a thread for ladies due to ovulate some time around the 22nd March. If you're due to OV around this time, come on in!

I find these easier to follow than the big month-long threads.

Thought we could all test at similar times, discuss our crazy symptom spotting, and all the other "fun" around TTC.

You're doubly welcome if you're a POaS addict like me

This will be cycle 5 after TFMR last year.

TTC our first

I've tried conceive plus, preseed, all manner of ovulation kits, etc.

This month I'm going to focus on losing half a stone. I've put a lot of weight on since my TFMR. I think i could be disadvantaging myself. I'm also going to cut down on caffeine throughout the who cycle.

I've also bought the Harvard medical school Fertility Diet book, all backed up with science so I'll let you all know how I get on with it.

Yeah I'll get more reliable tests today and see if I can hold off til tomorrow morning.

Would it not still be dated by LMP?

It would be initially but you’d probably find they change based on how the measurements are. With DD my due date was brought forward by four days because I must have ovulated early that cycle. Only really a concern if you’re wanting time sensitive antenatal checks done though.

The dating won't bother me too much if it's only by a few days and all is looking ok please god.

On my second baby I came off the pill on 17th Nov and got BFP on 6th Feb and had no bleeding whatsoever inbetween so that was a hard one to date!!

So this was yesterday, about 5pm .. and then this morning about 7am I was back to the blank circle and hardly a 2nd line on the cheapie...
what does this mean? Have I ovulated already?

Robbo it will mean that your surge has been, so the LH levels have dropped but you should ovulate within 36 hours of your LH peak (when you get a static smiley/positive cheapy). When you ovulate the egg is good for 12-24 hours so I'd say today is your O day.

Hey there March 22nd-ers. The day has arrived. How is everyone doing?

As for me, after my positive OPKs yesterday, I was expecting a rise in temperature, but...my temp actually went down. I don't know that it went down enough to qualify as a "dip" necessarily, but it did go down slightly. I took temps twice yesterday, so I don't think they were an anamoly. Both positive. I have not yet done an OPK test today.

Upon researching, I am getting answers from all over the board. Some say you probably already ovulated. Some say it's coming. Some say it might still be 2-3-5 days. Others say that you can O but still not get a temp rise for a couple of days...or even at all. So, at this point....I have no idea where things stand. Maybe I O-ed, maybe I didn't.

I guess the only thing to do now is the BD with the guy, whether it's a waste of time or not. I am joking, as I love being intimate with my partner. So, it will happen either way.

I had a positive smiley last night. Didn't bother checking today, wasn't sure if I was supposed to?

Dtd last night and will do tonight and tomorrow.

No feelings of ov yet though

Help opk question, so I tested positive with the smiley face last night. Tested again 5 minutes ago with a 4 hour hold and just got a negative circle.

What does that mean? I've missed ovulation?

I think that means your surge has passed. Ovulation should happen within 24-36 hours of your surge so today should be ovulation day for you. Egg is good for 12-24 hours after ovulation

I've got lower pains so I guess it's happening now.

Flo predicted today but was out by 2 days last month so I assumed would be the same this month.

Fingers crossed I'm ok for this month.

Got blood test next week on day 21 to check in ovulating

I’ve had literally no change in CM at all and no EWCM and supposed to O tomorrow (CD17) Had on and off period ache on left side for a few days but nothing else seems to be happening. I also had this cramping around CD8/9. DTD on 8,9,12 and 14 but feel like nothing has happened and I have missed it somehow.

@Michellebops I didn't get the smiley today either so guessing we've got similar timings. DTD last night but fingers crossed that's enough as no chance tonight x

@20TinkerBell20 CD21 for me (& I think ovulation day) and I've hardly noticed any CM!

Update: after yesterday's bfp I spent all day thinking about it and couldn't wait so held my urine yesterday for over four hours and POAS again and it was a line again but this was a bit faded which was fine as it was not fmu but this mornings was a bfp :( which was fmu.

I fell asleep at 9.30 last night then our 3 year old came into bed with me at 1am so we didn't managed to dtd last night.

I've notice the change in cm today so hopefully we'll still have a chance tonight

@Michellebops I don't see any change in my CM but I haven't the whole way through my cycle. I'll try and DTD later on today as it may make a difference but hubby can only DTD every other day otherwise it's HOUUUUUUURS and nobody got time for that

Aw @Kinsella82 BFNs are the worst but it's such early days. I'm trying not to test until 28th when I'll be 11 dpo but not sure if I'll make it. How many dpo are you? We can sit it out together!

@plipliop I really don't know and that's the annoying thing. I think I'm Ov right now so I can't understand the bfp's yesterday. Putting it down to some kind of blip and focusing on dtd as much as possible this weekend! Seeing the bfp yesterday has gotten me so excited tho - if it was just too early and if it was a real bfp then it'll come back I guess! Trying to keep positive and keep focussed!

I keep adding pg tests to my basket and then deleting them

I know I'll do them all over 1 day if I order them.
